I recently reserved a unit online but did not move in. I was charged automatically for the storage unit anyway and never moved in. I was even charged for a lock that I never picked up. Well Ive been trying to contact the owner and customer service about a refund however Ive been given the run around for about a month now. I was told originally that I would in fact receive my refund within 14 business days. Well its been 21 business days now and when I called back to get a status, I was then told that I would not receive a refund and theres nothing they can do about it. Wow what a way to scam someone. Im reporting these guys to the BBB and potentially will be pursuing a small claims. read more

I have a few units in other locations but the service that I was treated with Patrice was beyond expectations. She was informative and caring . She helped me with checking in , setting up and even walked me to the unit . She is a wonderful representative of this location and public storage overall. read more

Prepare to have your rates raised every six months. Started out paying $192, just received notice I will be paying $320.

We have rented two storage units over the course of 2 months and have an excellent experienced. The most recent rental, Brittany C. Helped us with and she was helpful, informative, friendly and she even called a couple days after to make sure we were pleased with our unit and to make sure we didn't need anything else. I give them a 5 !! read more

UPDATE (4/5/19): Rates going up 20%. I wish my pay went up that much in a month. Left voice message with regional manager over a week ago and no response. Time to relocate my stuff. They keep increasing their rates hoping you don't notice. UPDATE (4/26/18): The regional manager reached out to me and fixed the rate hikes. Wish they had credited ALL the months that they kept increasing the monthly rent. BE AWARE of price increases that occur very frequently. Started at $147 less than 18 months ago and just got a notice going to $198. Almost 35% increase. Time to look for another storage unit. They keep increasing the price every several months. read more

Hit with a 25% price increase after being a continuous customer for 7 years - An increase of $110 per month and $269 over the price currently advertised on line for the same space. Poor communication from location manager - required multiple phone calls to get my call returned. read more

How can a company just up your monthly fee 20% ($51.00) overnight without notice. Even with a notice to upcharge someone that much. That's $70 more in 12 months. Never again will I give this company any future business. read more

So far they have my stuff I. Storage and they will not let me set up autopay and they won't put my name on my storage account

They recently started to raise their rates every few months. For most of these I received no notification even though they have my address and email on file. Then, since I'm a dollar short in my automatic payment, they charge over $20 for being "late". I've been a customer for over 10 ten years and have gotten no consideration even when I was able to point out I had not received notification. read more

Adrin was great, very professional. The property is clean and secure. I was a little irked by the number of phone calls I was receiving upon reserving my unit online prior to checking in the next day, but overall it was a very positive experience. read more

I rented a storage unit thinking I would only need it for one month. Turns out I left the States for work and came back 9 moths later. They were amazingly helpful when away . Cyndy the property manager was understanding and helped me every single month to coordinate with my family for my payments to be made. When I came back, I was welcomed with a smile and found my things just how I left them and no dust in sight! !. Thank you Public Storage read more

Patrice, the manager, was awesome! Really helped with my choices. Very knowledgeable of the property. Great job all around!

The staff was extremely polite and helpful and made moving into my storage unit completely painless :)

Not very customer friendly. When trying to reserve an additional storage unit Christine would not honor the online quoted price. Despite trying to give them business, we were met with continued difficulty. Also the gate is constantly in the open position. Not a lot of security despite claims to the contrary. On one evening a football team was using the facility to hand out uniforms, gate was up. Gate was up all day yesterday while welding company worked on it. read more

Happy to be in this unit because the last company I was with only had outdoor storage and my stuff was getting ruined, but what the heck with price increasing?! In their lease it says they can (for any reason at all) increase the rent costs, so they did. By $22 a month!! And from what I've read elsewhere it continues to consistently increase. Not going to be able to afford this and will have to look elsewhere, which really sucks because I liked the place. read more

Great customer service. Easy to use and access unit. Good location, nice neighborhood.

Rene S was very helpful and called when I had missed a payment. She helped me setup my online account so I could setup autopay and never be late again!! Thanks Rene. read more

Great location and exceptional staff and service. What a pleasant experience! Pricing on units is very competitive as well. The only issue is the insurance requirement with high cost, so check your homeowners and waive the coverage. read more

Great customer service! Val was very helpful. Clean, secure, great hours. Reserve online at no cost for a discount.

This review is for the location in Phoenix on Cave Creek Blvd. The location, building, units and staff are all fine. Tiffany is really helpful. My warning is about price. I got a great price and this was the main reason I moved into this location. It is not terribly convenient from my house but the price made it worth it since I don't have to be there that often. Now, in a surprise move, they suddenly increased the price by 21%. Of course they have the right to do this, it's a month to month lease. But once you have spent the money for helpers and taken the effort to find the place and move in they know that the cost to move is enough they can take advantage. I don't know if I would have made a different decision had I known this would happen. The price is still acceptable but on the high side. I will be looking around for something more convenient in case this happens again. But the audacity to take advantage like that scares me for the future. read more

I was looking for a storage facility and came across an online special for an indoor air conditioned unit for this facility in Heron Bay by Parkland. Cindy was very helpful, courteous, and informative about the details of the facility. She showed me the unit, informed me about insurance, the special lock, and helped me further when I couldn't get the gate code to work. On another occasion, I had gone to pay in person and the lady sitting behind the desk was also very courteous. All in all, I've had a great experience dealing with public storage and its staff. I would recommend this facility (it's clean) if you are around that area or find a good online special and don't mind traveling a few miles. read more
