I picked up a small U-Haul trailer from this storage place for a one-way rental. The staff was super friendly, set me up with rented furniture blankets, sold me an insert with a 2 inch ball for my truck, and hooked up the trailer expertly. Zero stars. When I gave 30 day notice I was locked out of my unit even though I had paid via auto pay until the end of the month. I lost several hundred dollars worth of items and was offered no option to rectify the situation. Calling customer service was useless-was repeatedly told there was nothing that could be done. They lure you in with a special offer and raise your rent so fast you have to leave. They will not consider that you are a long term tenant and just continue to increase your rent as fast as they can. You can rent the same unit at the same location for less and they will not lower your rent. read more

NO on the Sinclair Rd location. I cannot wait for U-Haul to open next door. I have had multiple issues and upper mgmnt never acknowledged or returned my calls. I sent a letter to Corporate-never acknowledged. -My unit was blocked by an unoccupied car parking in front on my unit. -The locks on all units were changed and office manager was not in the Monday after Thanksgiving when I went to get my new lock and key. -A street side unit was broken into allowing at least 3 add'l units to be ransacked and stolen items. Again, no manager on site during scheduled office hours. read more

The process to set up getting the storage unit and getting everything put in and locked up was very easy. Completed everything online a gentleman called to explain everything and it couldn't of went any better. Easy pull up access to unload and feel that its very secure. read more

Yesterday I requested that my lock be cut from my storage unit and replaced (my keys were stolen during a car burglary last week). The store manager Ron said the (district manager?) would be by tomorrow morning and they could cut the lock then. Ron called me this morning and informed me that the new lock was on. I just arrived to my unit and my lock has not been replaced - the lock next to mine was. So A: I can now access the belongings of the person next to me which gravely concerns me about the safety of my belongings here and B: I still can't access my things. read more

This is a two parts Review, The second part will come after I finish/close up the rental unit at an undetermined date so that you can get both at the beginning and also at the end. I hope that the end will turn out as good as the beginning. The first Part is about the service I got when I reserved the Unit. Josh was wonderful and patient in communicating with me (Im Deaf), He took time to explain the options, showed me and my friend two different storages (we both were renting for ourselves). There was some problem with the computer and he said that he is working on it, He was good at staying on top of things as he called me shortly after and left message informing me that my application finally got through. Later I checked on-line to my account and found that it's not the same as what I was given, so he suggest that I stop by which I did and he helped me check it out. Turns out that it was an old account from years ago when I used the Public Storage at a different location. He was very helpful and I didnt feel hurried or pressured at all. I left feeling secured and so does my friend. read more

The good: Ron is great, opening the unit is great, everything about starting it is great. The bad: do not, under any circumstances, stay for any length of time. Public Storage will jack up your rates something awful. I have seen my reasonable rates more than double. When I asked the customer service line (not Ron) why I should pay almost three times what someone just moving in pays, they lowered it by $5. Yes, Five dollars! I've closed one unit and will close another this month. I've opened two others for the short term. Maybe this is obvious. Maybe I have too much stuff. But really! read more

Ron is the property manager at this location. He's always helpful in any situation, and is always looking out for the customers here. I got to see him interact with many customers here as I was hauling loads to my units, he was always courteous to everyone who walked in the door. I had two lockers rented from him for a few months while we were waiting to move into our house, and had zero issues, facility is clean, gated and safe. When I forgot to set up autopay, Ron called to remind me my payment was due, he always went above and beyond anything we needed. Thanks Ron!!! read more

I have a few bad experience with the manager Ron first one was he told me that he can get my late fee waived by giving him a good review I gave the good review and my late fee was not waived also my unit was tampered with and a key was broke off in my lock so he told me that he would be able to cut it off the next day and it took a week to get that done and today I had two locks on my unit they both were cut off and I was told that I needed to purchase a new lock and they would not replace the locks and he said the reason was anytime your payment is 14 days late they are able to cut them off at anytime. Also I could purchase the locks from them at $20 each........Wow!!! So I'm not a happy customer....... read more

Josh told me that I was locked in a price because of a special they were running back in December. He said that my price would not go up as long as I'm there. That was a lie! The only reason I went with this location was because of the deal. There are several other locations closer to me. My rate went up and after talking to costumer service, they said that Josh should have never said that. I will be moving out as soon as I can. read more

Please save yourself from this horrible place and awful customer service. My roommate and I had an issue during move out with a ton of damaged belongings and went in to inquire about the insurance and to see what else could be done. We were handed a pamphlet and told to call a the number on there about insurance. Then Ron asked, "Why because of water damage?" Told him the real reason and he became very complacent and would not longer speak to us and rushed us away like there was no issue. But did manage to ask about photographic proof while we were walking out of the door and we told him no, he then had a look of huge relief on his face and acted like he wasn't worried because we told him we did not have any, when in reality we do. There was no concern or care about any issues and believe me this place has them. Save yourself the hassle and time of having to throw away your possessions and spend money you don't have once you move out. It would have been nice to hear the issue would be taken care of or that we could at least get our months rent back for our troubles, but that did not happen. read more

I had a pleasant time storing my goods while in transition to my new home. Ron was very helpful and informative. I even broke my mirror accidently while unloading and he helped me clear it from my car even after his shift was already over. Wonderful experience, would definitely use them again! read more

I have rented a unit for 10 Mnths. Constant up charge. Get you in with teaser rate and than watch out. Many units for cash flow but no cameras ? Had my unit broke into and many large items stolen. The items stolen were not taken over any fence like they think. This was A INSIDE JOB. Oh better yet can't even tell me what date my unit was robbed, but found wide open with latch busted off the roll up door.The facility takes no liability. If you value your belongings don't store at this facility, especially tools and equipment. This is a typical slum lord, more about their cash flow not reliable or safe facility ( CAMERAS) BEWARE !!!!!!!! And Josh no longer works there, quit some time back. 11/15 They seem to have new faces in office every time I have been thru for the last few months. BEWARE like I said Inside Job, I believe my equipment is still on that property in some thieves unit. BS my equipment went over fence. Then 4 days after I vacate they send me an E-mail saying I owe them 5bucks for what ? They didn't bother to tell me. There are better and more secure places to put your belongings than that place, and a lot cheaper. Same size unit rented elsewhere by the month for almost half the price with security cameras !!!! the is the worst place to store anything. they charged me for whole month when my stuff only there for only 3 days. after i paid even the gate wont let me in, smh policy was not disclose properly and customer service gave me a district manager number that does not work at all. customer service transfer me 100 times and I could not get hold of anybody. This is not a fair act of billing at all. I would not recommend for anybody and I will report this issue. worst experience. in addition to this I was asked to post something positive first time I was there. this is sickening. read more
