I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with this moving company…read more When the movers arrived, there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from them, which immediately made me uncomfortable. During the move, one of the movers attempted to readjust the U-Haul and ended up hitting the building, causing damage to the property. What made the situation even worse is that they never informed me about the damage. A witness actually had to go outside, tell the mover that he needed to notify me, and tell him to contact the building owner. Even after that, no one from the moving crew took responsibility or brought it to my attention directly. I tried to handle the matter professionally and gave the company an opportunity to resolve the issue. I asked them to take accountability for the mover's actions and pay for the damage that was caused. Instead, the issue has been ignored, and the company eventually stopped responding to my emails altogether. I have an incident report, photographs of the damage, and eyewitnesses to support everything I am saying. This company showed a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and honesty. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to admit fault and ignoring a customer afterward is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Stay away from this company - they are crooks!…read more I moved from my mom's house into my own apartment on August 2, 2022. The morning before the move, a woman from Let's Get Moving said they had no record of my request for moving a piano, and they might not have a truck available that day big enough for it (they did end up having one). She also said that I had paid a fee I wasn't supposed to, and she promised my mom and me that I would get a refund for that. I then paid a bill for moving the piano after the men showed up to move my stuff. My dresser (an antique they were told to be careful with) fell apart in the truck. The men told me they would find someone to fix it. Days later, my mom found two wheels from the dresser on her lawn. The men also left a moving blanket behind. These things suggest that the dresser may have fallen apart due to carelessness. As I said, days went by. I got no refund and no call from a furniture repair company. I examined my invoices and saw that I had been charged twice for moving the piano (I actually had already paid for moving the piano in my original bill). I did not catch this before, because the bill wording was strange-the fee for moving the piano was called a "safe fee". I called the moving company. An employee told me that I was not owed the refund I had originally been promised, but I should get a different refund due to paying twice for the piano. He also said that a furniture repair man would call me eventually. He promised to leave a message for his boss. Over a week went by. No phone calls, no refund. I called the company again, on August 24. The woman I originally talked to claimed that people are charged twice for moving a piano (both for loading and unloading it). She said she explained this to both my mom and me. I never heard her say that. I called my mom, and she was also never told there would be two fees for moving the piano. (On my August 24th call, the woman at Let's Get Moving also said she was still looking for someone to fix the dresser.) In September, I finally called my own repair company. The repairman called Let's Get Moving to find out if they would pay him, and he was told they would not pay to fix the dresser because they only will pay 60 cents per pound of broken furniture! Therefore, I had to throw the dresser away instead of having it fixed.
