This is my second storage unit in Columbus and this place is leaps and bounds better than my previous option. It's centrally located downtown and not too far from my home, so that's a plus. You need a key fob to access the building, elevators, and your storage unit. It's a little annoying doing so many "beeps", but I'd prefer more safety than less. The space has been clean and well maintained every time I've visited, even the bathrooms. Their team was really friendly when I came in to get set up and has made sure my packages got to the unit every time. So far, so good! read more

Man oh man oh man! This is a great location in the heart of downtown Columbus. The price is amazing and the amenities you get for storing here is pretty legit! First, you scan your key fob to get into the building. There's double doors and a timer. You dint have to fight with the door while you move. Upon getting on the elevator, you have to scan your key fob and it takes you to your floor only. Once you're off the elevator, you have to scan the unit on the wall to unlock the secondary lock to your unit. Talk about extra security! You cant beat it. You do not have to scan your fob to go down or to exit the building, which is dope. This location is pretty clean and the temp is comfortable inside. When have you ever seen someone RAVE about a self storage facility? Well, sit back and relax because that's what is about to happen. In December 2016 I was in need of a moving truck. I was moving from one corner of downtown to another. This place was new and it came up as the closest location for a truck and they had exactly the size I needed at a good rate so I booked it. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I met the proprietor, George, who was beyond helpful. He explained everything thoroughly to me and my dad who was helping. We actually rented a utility van and it was brand new and had a super helpful backup camera. I had requested online to borrow a dolly but they didn't have one available but George let me borrow his personal one. It was such a great help. I noticed that they sell all sorts of moving supplies in the lobby and I wish I had known that before because I would have gone there. But George, great salesman that he is, did tell me about their storage facilities, including their wine cellars. I told him no thank you and left but then as we moved to our new place that had less storage available, I started to think about it and I ended up going back and signing up for a small unit. It was an excellent decision! First of all, it is a great price for what I receive. For less than $100 a month, I have a super safe, clean place to keep my belongings. It is so nice to be able to store my military gear and Christmas supplies in a place that is out of my way until I need them. Furthermore, the building is SUPER secure. I was a little leery about it being downtown but you have to have a key fob to get into the building and then once inside your key fob will only let you on the floor where your unit is located. They also have ample cameras to record the goings on inside and then of course, you can put whatever lock you want on your unit to maintain its security. My unit is perfect for me. I was there this past weekend to pick up some things for some upcoming military training and it was SO easy to just park my car right outside the door, walk in, open the unit, grab my stuff and go. When I make it in the world, I am hoping to also get one of their wine cellars because they sound amazing! Did I mention that they often have wine tastings at the site as well? They have a tasting room and while I haven't been yet, I hope to attend one soon. This storage facility is the best. Whether you need a truck rental or a place to keep your things or both, I hope you'll consider them because they have been so great to me! read more

Get everything you discuss in writing, before you move your stuff in. The guy I spoke to over the phone told me the price of the storage unit was $179/mo.The website also showed $169/mo. After moving my stuff into the unit, I got the paperwork to sign and the price said about $50 more a month that what was discussed. I spoke to the employee about it, and he was very rude. Tri-Village Storage would not honor the price that was discussed and shown on their website. Now I have the hassle of moving my stuff AGAIN, into a new storage complex complex. I went to check in today having reserved a 10x10 unit several weeks ago. When I got there the attendant Bill told me they gave my unit to someone else. I had made the reservation and received a notification online, yet I was not given the unit I originally saw and reserved. The attendant Bill could care less about my inconvenience and chuckled his way through me reserving a smaller 10x5 unit. Will not use these guys again!!!! read more

Their hours on Thursday are listed as 11a-5p. I arrived at 11:40 and there is a sign on the door that says "will return at 12:30p" with the business card of the manager, Tim. I called that number and was told that he would contact the guy who was working, who would call me back. I never received a call back, waited 15 minutes and the store remained "closed", so I took my business elsewhere. If you are open for 6 hours, maybe you shouldn't "close" for an hour just 30 minutes after opening. Need to take a lunch? Change your hours to 12-5pm and actually be open during that time. The facility is state of the art and quite nice. But what sets it apart is their outstanding customer service. George was attentive and made sure I got exactly what I needed, and worked with me to accommodate what ended up being a less than pleasant move. He even helped me load some items from my car into the space, and helped me move an antique dresser that was carelessly laid on its side directly on the concrete by my careless movers.
