Stay away from them. I've only been renting a unit from this Public Storage for 5 months and they already sent a notice telling me they're raising my monthly rate by $10. That's about a 30% increase. Read my prior review to see the other shenanigans they trIed to pull.

Yelp should receive 1 star for not allowing this location to get more than 5 stars! If you're interested in a storage space, than look no further. Upon arriving, we were immediately, warmly greeted by Hazra. Although this was minutes before closing, she was extremely patient and did not make us feel rushed. We had been locked out our booking because of minor issues and not only did she explain why it had occurred, she provided empathy, relatability, and reassurance. She made prompt phone calls and within 5 min, had us good to go! We need more Hazra's in this word! read more

BEWARE OF PRICE GAUGING. Our rent for 3 storage units nearly doubled from the time we began our rental in January. Public storage lures you in with amazing rates and then increase them substantially in a short amount of time. Truly a disgrace. read more

First time renting from Public Storage. Got there at 3 pm on Saturday and need assistance to open the storage unit went to the office nobody there called no answer . Hi had to stand outside for 40' before an employee shows up . Employee was not helpful at all I have to figured out by myself . Both bathroom in my building were out of order has to go to the other building. The door is very inconvenient when you have to do all whole moving in as it locks all the time and it requires password every time it closes . Elevator same problem password required every time you go up . I wish u knew it before rent out but of course nobody tell you about . read more

Careful of their bait & switch... I have an email with my reservation information, including the monthly rate... apparently it doesn't mean anything... the "new" rate is 33% higher... find somewhere else to rent read more

I must commend your staff at this public storage, especially Brittany. I was really in a pickle as my movers were arriving the next morning and I had no idea as to whether my things would fit into my existing storage space. Jesula called Brittany and asked her to look into space to see if I had space for all the new boxes. I went to the wrong address thus jesula helped me figure out where I had my bin. She found it and called Brittany who then went and took a ladder to check. She came back and said yes it looked like it would fit if rearranged. Of course I had lost my key and the manager at that location wouldn't be around to break it open in time for my movers who were coming from NYC. I was panicked but Brittany told me to come to her location and walked me thru the process of calling a locksmith, describing the kind of lock to him and I waited for him to meet me there. I was a wreck and Brittany calmed me down (quite a feat in itself) and waited with me for the locksmith, then I bought a new lock from her and we got into the storage bin. I was such a wreck from worrying I don't know what I would have done without her taking charge, handling everything while reassuring me everything would be okay. What a gem that girl is. I can't praise her enough. The movers arrived the next morning and everything went like clockwork. Thank you thank you thank you Brittany. History

Established in 1972.

The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.

Mine was on the 3rd floor. Great security of your all me. BTW, I've never seen a better kept, cleaner facility anywhere! Orlaine Adams is the Facility Manager, Jerome McCray the Assistant Manager. Although I hadn't been there in a few years, they both remembered me when I came in. They both greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing. They remembered that I was going through multiple surgeries when my possessions were moved in! It was time for me to finally go through my belongings to see what I wanted to save, donate and sell. If I ever have need of a storage facility, I'll be back there for sure! They have great move in specials and the prices are very reasonable for the safety and security they offer. In 7 years I have only asked one other time for it to be cut back but this time I have been completely ignored for months on end and through 3 managers. My backyard ONLY has palms and turf to ensure easy maintenance but I have now had to purchase 2 leafs blower/vaccs, rakes, pole saw, large tree trimming loppers, etc. since my yard is constantly filled with leaves as is my pool. Post storms is an absolute disaster that I have let go for years though it has cost many hours of labor and hired help to clean up mess from the other side of the wall. Any sort of acknowledgement would be nice but since it's behind their buildings, and obviously a me problem, I can't imagine I'll get a response until I drop off an invoice for the supplies and my hours of labor to clean it up myself this weekend.

I've been trying to reach out for the past 6 weeks in a response to cancel out my unit from December 4th and they have yet to answer me or stop my automated payments. I requested them to stop my service multiple times and they completely disregard the request. They finally answered me 6 weeks after and then I was told I needed to cut my lock off for them to stop it after I expressed I moved out of state in December and called in and relayed that message (was never told that I needed to cut lock off or requested that service) continued to charge me $515 a month. I've called the customer service and they just route you to the "property management voice mail" and we will NEVER get a response back. I've used multiple storage facilities and never have had any issues like this before. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GO WITH A LOCAL COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT PROPER COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It all starts with the staff. I was greeted promptly and courteously by Emmy. She was friendly, helpful and extremely professional.
