The climate control really works - I've been in on August afternoons and January mornings and the inside conditions have always been "shirt-sleeve" comfortable. The location is convenient, just off the Interstate. The flatbed carts are really handy when moving big stuff in or out. The security code elevators to the upper level provide an additional feeling of security. As another reviewer mentioned, bring a flashlight if you need to brightly illuminate your space. Although for us, there is enough hallway lighting to allow the positioning and retrieval of stuff in the unit.

If you're looking for a safe, convenient, and affordable storage unit look no further…read more I was in need of storing a few items and only needed a small unit for my items. I arrived at EZ storage and Gregory (manager) was able to provide me a unit. These units are all indoors and climate controlled. You need a special code to get through the gate/garage and your unit is inside. It's a drive-thru unit and so you drive your car in and then unload and take the elevator up. They provide carts for easy transport. Before I committed to the unit, Gregory brought me through the building and showed me the size of the unit and talked to me about the cost per month. Right now they are running a special so I was able to get 3 months for half price. I assume they have specials often so be sure you check. Gregory told me he lives on site with his dog so if there is ever anything going on he'll know about it. There are also multiple cameras around the property and inside the building. I'm really glad this storage facility exists. It's exactly what I was looking for!

My initial call with questions reinforced that they were professional, friendly and took pride in their place. Move-in was easy and having access to their moving truck ( at a reasonable price!), made it all work - and we had coordinated everything from NY just a short time prior to arrival. They have lots of carts to use, easy drive in access to drop off stuff and cart it up to your unit, and clean, auto-lit corridors and storage units. We kept the unit over 2 years and there were a few times we were late on payments and they didn't treat you like a deadbeat - they just reminded you and we paid right away. I cannot think of one negative thing, and I am a pretty harsh grader - I don't just give away 5 stars to everyone.

Mark was particularly helpful in helping us choose the size unit that was right for her things, based only on photos I had taken of her things. He saved us even more money by recommending we take a 2nd floor unit in their temperature controlled building, since we would be going in/out a lot to the unit. Used their truck for a nominal fee to move the things into the unit, and once I got the hang of using the cart and elevator to bring things upstairs, all went well. I recommend using Storage Masters Chesterfield for whatever your outside storage needs are.

And he surveils the on-site folk with his office cameras. So, when you read about the on site mangers being great, they WERE. But they are gone. They also jack the prices up without notice - like Public Storage does. Facilities are just okay. Lots of spiders, insects, frequent webs, and they have had roof leaks. Floors dirty when we moved in. If the owner took a different approach with his corporate management of the place, it would have hope. By the way, the truck is not "Free". That is totally misleading. You can use it for one half day rental period and a limited number of miles. After that, it is costly and they require insurance add ons. Do NOT be misled into believing the truck is there for you to use for free anytime you need it.

Since the new management change it has nothing but rude, inconsiderate, and unfriendly service. My biggest concern is they turn off your ability to pay your bill to make it extremely difficult for you, your unit then falls in default therefore allowing them "legally" (so they have it worked out to be) to auction your unit for a far larger profit. They used UNITS for the first two lots, and had a UNITS container in the driveway when the house sold. It looked good and wasn't a detraction. But then the homeowners tried a different container company, in an attempt to save money. Not only did they NOT really save money, as the other company had lots of fees for every step of the process, and much more shifting of the load (the other company pulls the unit onto a trailer at a 45 degree angle, UNITS always stay flat!) And in less than 2 months in storage at the other place mice had build a nest in the furniture! There were also indications that the other company's so-called temperature controlled space was not optimal. In short: UNITS is worth it -- a seamless delivery and pick up, better outcome for the belongings, and cost differences were not real.

Do not use this company!…read more I trusted them to take care of our belongs as they seemed to be a reputable company. They seemed easy to work with and after just having a baby we wanted movers that were hassle free and trustworthy. (They broke a dresser and a rocker from the nursery) They are fine so long as your expectation is that you just want your items delivered. If you expect them to be in the same condition as they left your house, that's where they fall short. They broke several items and when you file your claim, they initially send you a rather intense email about how it's better to settle for $500 than continue with the process. We chose to continue as our items were worth significantly more than $500. We have now received an offer of about 30-50 cents on the dollar. And 1 item they will not reimburse for because I can't prove that the mid-century modern record counsel was working before they smashed it. Even though I have a photo of the top open right before the move. Long story short- if you do use this company, take photos and videos of all of your belongings to insure that you aren't left with nothing at the end. Or faced with spending even more money to replace the things they broke. They are very expensive and I thought I was hiring a company that stood behind their work. I apparently did not. I am still trying to figure all this out, but it seems to me that if you hire movers and buy insurance you should not be out even more money to replace your furniture that they broke.
