I arrived at EZ storage and Gregory (manager) was able to provide me a unit. These units are all indoors and climate controlled. You need a special code to get through the gate/garage and your unit is inside. It's a drive-thru unit and so you drive your car in and then unload and take the elevator up. They provide carts for easy transport. Before I committed to the unit, Gregory brought me through the building and showed me the size of the unit and talked to me about the cost per month. Right now they are running a special so I was able to get 3 months for half price. I assume they have specials often so be sure you check. Gregory told me he lives on site with his dog so if there is ever anything going on he'll know about it. There are also multiple cameras around the property and inside the building. I'm really glad this storage facility exists. It's exactly what I was looking for!

My initial call with questions reinforced that they were professional, friendly and took pride in their place. Move-in was easy and having access to their moving truck ( at a reasonable price!), made it all work - and we had coordinated everything from NY just a short time prior to arrival. They have lots of carts to use, easy drive in access to drop off stuff and cart it up to your unit, and clean, auto-lit corridors and storage units. We kept the unit over 2 years and there were a few times we were late on payments and they didn't treat you like a deadbeat - they just reminded you and we paid right away. I cannot think of one negative thing, and I am a pretty harsh grader - I don't just give away 5 stars to everyone.

A household moving project this summer -- their house sold FAST and they hadn't lined up a new one…read moreyet! So all their stuff had to go into storage. They used UNITS for the first two lots, and had a UNITS container in the driveway when the house sold. It looked good and wasn't a detraction. But then the homeowners tried a different container company, in an attempt to save money. Not only did they NOT really save money, as the other company had lots of fees for every step of the process, and much more shifting of the load (the other company pulls the unit onto a trailer at a 45 degree angle, UNITS always stay flat!) And in less than 2 months in storage at the other place mice had build a nest in the furniture! There were also indications that the other company's so-called temperature controlled space was not optimal. In short: UNITS is worth it -- a seamless delivery and pick up, better outcome for the belongings, and cost differences were not real.

They keep bugging me to review, so I will!…read more I used them for about 6 months, I got a 6x12 unit I think and paid $69 a month and the month I vacated they gave everyone a wholesale increase in rent - mine went up to $75. I'm not sure how often they do this but it did happen to me once. The contract type you have here is month-to-month which I liked because I didn't know how long I wanted the unit. Unlike U-haul storage and some of the other places, ALL of these units are ground floor and drive-up accessible which makes it the easiest to load/unload your items right into or out of your vehicle. It's also open 24/7, 365 which many other places don't have. Staff was always nice. The only weird thing I didn't like was the weird plaster material that the walls on my unit were made out of, they chipped very easily and created a lot of particle dust in my unit. There were some spiders in my unit too, but that's not preventable I feel. If you think you'll get a unit here, ask them to give you the 2nd month free, they did it for me. I would rent a unit from this place again.

And he surveils the on-site folk with his office cameras. So, when you read about the on site mangers being great, they WERE. But they are gone. They also jack the prices up without notice - like Public Storage does. Facilities are just okay. Lots of spiders, insects, frequent webs, and they have had roof leaks. Floors dirty when we moved in. If the owner took a different approach with his corporate management of the place, it would have hope. By the way, the truck is not "Free". That is totally misleading. You can use it for one half day rental period and a limited number of miles. After that, it is costly and they require insurance add ons. Do NOT be misled into believing the truck is there for you to use for free anytime you need it.
