I only had my rental truck for a few hours and had to be moved by today and this was a total inconvenience for me. I have to pay for a day with the truck rental which is another $60. I paid $99.88 for this storage space and I don't get any compensation? I will continue to leave reviews until something is done this is very frustrated and unacceptable.

Where to begin? For one, this HAS to be the most money-grabbing operation known to man. When I did not comply, they charged the $18. O.K., fair enough I guess. However, they did not, nor would not furnish any Certificate of Insurance from a legitimate Insurance Company, outlining the terms and conditions of the "Insurance": A-1 U-Store-It purchased on my behalf.,Then, when my Ins. Co, (American Family) furnished evidence of my Insurance during the period A1 U Store It had added yheirs, they refused to refunds my money. During my most recent encounter, I met with the Property Manager, Sally. My Drill Sgt. in the Marine Corps had more pewrsonality than she. Actually, I'd bet, in a personality contest, a King Cobra would win, hands down. The reason I had to interact with this individual was that I had lost my keys to both my lockers and needed to have A1 cut off the locks that I had to buy from them. I was told it'd be $56.00 per locker to do so-$112.00 total. And no, I couldn't use my own, or theirs, bolt cutter because I might damage their $5,000 door. Additionally, it could take 1y-5 days for their Maintenance man to cut off the locks. After having dealt with the Property Manager's sullenness, I was so frustrated that I inadvertently dropped the "F" bomb word. Alas, Sally became animated and told me in no uncertain terms that cussing was not permitted on the premises of their facility. I apologized, but told her that both she and I are on this life because our parents performed the very act that I had just named. Now, if you want to do business with a Company that will raise your locker rent EVERY year, impose rules that only enrich the owners, want to deal with uncaring management, A 1 U Store It is your best bet. Oh, I've been dealing with them for over 10 years and have spent about $34k with them. Loyalty means NOTHING-only$$$$$$.

We let the staff know and they did not seem in a hurry to fix the leak. Very unfortunate to have family heirlooms that cannot be replaced damaged.
