Warning do not store anything at Storage Masters Chesterfield MO. I paid for a climate controlled unit and they were notified June 20 that it had detached from the ceiling and was touching my property and the unit was contaminated with mold. It has been 5 months and they have done absolutely nothing but extort my money in monthly fees. read more

The experience I have had thus far with storage masters has been nothing but Extremely pleasant. Mike has been the associate that I worked with and he has been so kind and helpful and just open topen to any and all questions and assistance I have needed throughout the process of moving. It's super stressful anyways as everyone already knows but the storage facility and Mike specifically have been instrumental in making it a lot easier. Great facility but I missed one payment out of two years and they called and e mailed each day and called my brother, who lives two states away, told him I did not make my payment and they wanted it....... I was only 5 days late and hospitalized. It was complete harassment and I was only five days late and, as if they did not humiliate me enough, they put a 20.00 late free. I tried really hard to do business with Storage Masters, but they made the process so time consuming and difficult that I gave up. I made 2 trips to Storage Masters and waited 30 mins the first time and 45 mins the second only to be turned away due to peculiar storage policies that no other storage facilities have. After investing a couple of futile hours with a less than hospitable Storage Master representative, I quickly found another storage facility with friendly customer service that allowed to me to complete the rental process in less than 15 mins - no waiting! The people here are very nice and helpful through the whole process. The prices are very great for college students looking to store stuff over the summer. It was the day before moving and I didn't know I needed one but I contacted them and was able to go in and get a storage unit within the hour I called. We used Storage Masters Chesterfield to store items from my mothers home when she moved to senior living in Chesterfield. Mark was particularly helpful in helping us choose the size unit that was right for her things, based only on photos I had taken of her things. He saved us even more money by recommending we take a 2nd floor unit in their temperature controlled building, since we would be going in/out a lot to the unit. Used their truck for a nominal fee to move the things into the unit, and once I got the hang of using the cart and elevator to bring things upstairs, all went well. I recommend using Storage Masters Chesterfield for whatever your outside storage needs are. read more

This place really screwed up our moving day. They advertise free use of their moving truck for new customers, which is the primary reason we chose them. My son-in-law spent 45 minutes filling out paperwork, as I watched, and not once did they mention that the ONLY person allowed to take the truck is the single individual who's name is on the unit. When I showed up to get the truck, because I live closest, they refused to let me have it until my son-in-law came in person. It was too late to find another truck, so moving day was delayed by over two hours until we could get this straightened up. If you rent for the same reason, just be warned. read more

Helpppp - I am stuck inside because the gate sensor hates Priusesssss!! Really, the place is nice enough. The folks working there are friendly and everything appears safe. Elevator is kinda funky but operable. However, twice I have problems exiting the place - yikes!!!! I hope I still get my $10 for a review from them. :-)) Update: OK it was my fault about leaving the place. You must input your code to open the gate. Also, I have received my $10 for reviewing. They have also replaced all the doors on the garage lockers which gives the place a much friendlier feel. read more

Friendly and helpful office staff, clean and convenient facility. A little pricey, but it is in a nice neighborhood.

The facility is very nice; HOWEVER, I was unexpectedly caught in Hurricane Ida in New Orleans and did not have power, food, or electricity to charge my phone. When I was finally able to get a rental yesterday to leave; however,  my cell service was intermittent. When able to connect, I had an email and phone call every day beginning on the first day my payment was late. Keep in mind I have NEVER defaulted on my payment. Today I made it back to Chesterfield  (thank God) and had another call, e-mail, late fee notice, and called my Brother in Illinois tracking me down while he was at work ( this is all within one day) Sorry Storage Masters ...I was in an unexpected catastrophic situation. Again the facility is nice but they will harass you...BIG TIME.  Needless to say, be very cautious ...Fun fact.... IT WAS ONLY FOUR DAYS LATE AND I WAS IN A HURRICANE. In reality, I guess they did me a favor by allowing me to realize I do not need the items stored and will vacate the unit. read more

I live several states away, and we had some furniture that has been in our family several generations that suddenly needed to be moved. That left me trying to arrange storage at the last minute. The staff at Storage Masters was helpful and polite on the phone. I picked them based on their Yelp reviews and their location, and I was not disappointed. They did all they could to accommodate my unusual circumstances (needing someone else to sign the paperwork, pick up the key, move the things in, etc., since I was too far to get there in a day.) I love the convenience of being able to pull right up to the door and unload easily, anytime of day. I am very pleased choosing storage masters in Chesterfield to store my apartment furniture. The practically free moving truck is what sold me! It made it so easy to move and saved me so much money. All I had to pay was about $35 for the truck ($15 in insurance and $20 for going over the alloted 20 miles they give you for free). I also like that they give you a lock for free and insurance on your items can be bought through them: I'm paying $10 per month on insurance. Staff were friendly and very informative. This location is very accessible being adjacent to an interstate highway. It is also well maintained, especially when compared with other storage options in the immediate area. If you find a space in the facility that works for you, grab it immediately because it will likely be gone if you come back on another day. The staff is friendly and tries to be helpful but sometimes gets busy and forgets to follow through. That's not much of an issue once you have rented a space. read more
