The facility at this location is great, very safe and secure, with temperature control. But I have to give props to the store clerk, CJ. She knows everything there is to know about storage, and was always really positive and helpful when I went there. Depending on your budget, this might be a little expensive for some, and it's a little unfortunate that it's not open 24 hrs, but I'd still recommend it. read more

Great customer service. Had a bit of a snafu upon move in, but the staff fixed the situation quickly. Keep an eye out for sales-- 1/2 off rates are offered from time to time (e.g. black Friday, cyber Monday), first month free almost always. Affordably deliver what I need, conveniently. read more

Not quite so good when we went back and had to rent another unit temporarily as our floors were being refinished. We had to pay an additional admin fee even though we already were renting a unit and ended up with a unit far bigger than we needed. Admittedly we did not see CJ the second time around, otherwise I suspect things might have been different. read more

From William who talked me down to a smaller unit to Shone who was helpful in setting up the first view appointment to CJ who is amazing at all things-- this is the place to leave stuff when in Austin-- clean, cool, and secure!! read more

Recently went to this location to check out the facilities and prices. CJ warmly greeted us when we arrived. She showed us a few different units. The entire place was extremely clean and well kept. CJ was very knowledgeable and kindly answered all of our questions. Wonderful customer service which seems rare these days. The facility has a great location for us and after CJ explained all of the security in detail we felt very safe in renting a storage unit. Great location, great price and exceptional service. Thank you CJ! read more

I needed a storage unit on a Sunday when I thought it would be difficult to find. I was contacted immediately by the property manager after calling and an appt was immediately set up. I ran late in getting to the facility but the Property Manager Kim, was available when I got there. She was very courteous and was able to help me with all my needs. read more

I had a super easy time accessing my storage space for my impending move. Kim and CJ couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and made leasing my storage space as simple and straightforward as possible! read more

This is the cleanest and nicest storage unit complex I've seen. Janet was awesome to deal with. I've been back twice since and each time the complex has been easy to get in and out, nice staff and a pleasure to deal with. read more

I have to say that I never thought I would write a glowing review for a Public Storage facility and I have to, because the CS that I have received there has been great over the last 4 years! Very little customer interaction but when they need to contact you or help you, I have to say that CJ is always bright and cheerful and I recently met Josh and he was also wonderful and very helpful! Will go back to PS at Ben White, if I ever need storage again! read more

CJ (manager) is a miracle worker! She was so gracious and friendly. I was in a tight situation with moving my mother and sister here from Massachusetts and she was able to find me a 10x20 unit on the first floor. She came in a little early because my movers were going to arrive early. CJ went above and beyond and her customer service is excellent! This is the 3rd time I've had to rent a storage unit and CJ has always been a gem, making my life easier. She's the best! read more

Have had a wonderful experience with this location. They are fast and communicate well. CJ and her team do a great job with the upkeep of this property and love that they are quick and very helpful. CJ is a very positive person and we thank you for all your help! read more

YES!!!! You guys are the best! CJ rocks my socks and Cole is the fricken best! Thank you guys for being so awesome!!!!! So appreciative!

Kim H at this location saved us a bunch of money and hassle. We thought we had called Pop a Lock because we had lost the key to our unit but Kim warned us that we had probably talked to a scammer representing themselves as Pop a Lock. She had seen it happen to other customers. She gave us the real number for Pop a Lock and we were on our way. Thanks Kim read more

CJ is the epitome of customer service. Besides being extremely helpful in offering suggestions for room size, she knows the system so well that I was able to save money by postponing my actual move-in by 24hours. Perfect place and location while I'm transitioning to a new location. Thank CJ!! I wish all things were this easy! read more

I had absolutely no issues with this Public Storage location. CJ was very nice, I appreciate her friendly customer service. I was able to access my storage unit any time I wanted. The doors and elevators for the main entry to the storage units were always locked and my door code always worked. Elevators were never out of service and neither was the lock technology. The inside of the storage unit building was always clean and I had no issues with pests. I paid for an air conditioned unit and the air conditioner was always working when I stopped by. There were no hidden fees to terminate the lease. My only complaint is that my rent rate rose $20/mo due to an increase in the market rate, this is why I rushed to terminate my lease ASAP. Otherwise, this particular location provided excellent service, I would recommend this location and use it again for the right price. read more

This particular facility has changed for the worse. It was well managed and maintained by C.J. but no longer is. The facility is dirty, the dry wall in the area near the elevators is badly damaged, neither elevator worked during my last visit and a sprinkler system on the third floor failed flooding surrounding units about four months ago. I and my wife have used Public Storage facilities in four cities during the last 20 years. They are usually more expensive than their competitiors but the higher quality made them a good value. I do not believe the issues with this facility are related to the particular property manager but perhaps are associated with the district or regional managers being driven to make bonus or reach higher level corporate level budgets that cannot be met without impacting quality. I care about cleanliness, safety, security and quality. This is no longer the case at this facility. read more

This place was nice and clean, and the staff was welcoming. I'll continue to use Public Storage with this great service.

This was my first storage experience and CJ could not have been more helpful and gracious! She answered all of my questions, anticipated my concerns and was incredibly knowledgeable. She showed me my unit, explaining the many security precautions and really put my mind at ease. The facility is very clean and very well kept. It was the best customer service experience I have had in years! Thank you CJ! read more

I have used Public Storage multiple times in different cities, but this location is by far the best. Incredibly clean, always stocked with everything you need, and the manager CJ is extraordinary! So professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I really felt like I was dealing with a friend! read more

I had a storage space at this location for 3.5 years. I never had a problem with access or assistance from the staff. CJ made the entire process from moving in, payments, and moving out a wonderful experience. CJ was always personable, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. Thank you CJ for all of your help over the last few years. read more

I have used this storage facility a couple of times and worked with CJ on both occasions. She is very professional and understanding. I somehow managed to drop my keys and of course, with my luck, they fell down the elevator shaft and CJ went above and beyond to help me get them out. I cannot thank her enough. The facility is always clean, even the bathroom. I don't think I would want store my stuff anywhere else. read more

Would have rated this location 5 stars, however, an issue requiring the transfer of my original unit to a larger unit 2 days after signing up left me disappointed in Public Storage's lack of flexibility. I reserved my unit online and received a discounted rate on a 10 x 10 unit. I went in and completed the process and paperwork and was good to go for the upcoming use of the unit. 2 days later I needed to rent a larger unit based on a change in plans. When I went in to make the transfer I was unable to get the discounted rate on the larger unit since it was not rented online. I informed Josh that I could not make the transfer online so there was no way for me to do that. He understand that and said that there was nothing he could do within the system to give the online discount. Josh was understanding of my frustration and was pleasant to work with, however, at the end of the day, I will pay an additional $600 over the course of the year by not being able to receive the online discount. My words of advice if you are booking online are to make certain that you get the unit you want and don't make changes later as it will result in additional expenses and loss of discounted pricing. Both CJ and Josh were great to work with and my disappointment with Public Storage involves their systems and not these two employees. read more

CJ reserved a unit for us and treated us like royalty. She was the first person to welcome us to Austin and if every Austin-ite is like her, we are going to love living here. The unit was clean, dry and secure. CJ helped tell us what we would need and even provided cold water and a cool place for our pets to cool off. I am grateful to have met CJ and rent from her. This is the best public storage facility I have ever rented from and have rented for years and years. Thank you CJ and Public Storage! read more

After only 6 months of rental they increased my rent by 20%. I have never heard of anything like that. I called them, they say per rental agreement they can increase the rent for however much they want, at whatever time they please - and they usually do so every 6-12 months. This is insanity. They know that moving is costly and cumbersome, and they hope you feel trapped at their location. In what world is that a good business practice? The lady at the counter said that she receives a lot of calls of angry tenants regarding rent increase, but it's "headquarters" who is responsible, she has no influence at the location. All in all the service there is good and the place is clean and seems secure (although they don't use the alarm system they have installed for reasons I could not find out) - but don't believe that the rates they give you are what you will actually pay, in case you need a longer term solution. read more

VERY HELPFUL CONCERNING BREAK-IN. CJ is the best! When my storage unit was broken into (along with four others at this location), CJ was so helpful. She took photos of my ransacked belongings since I was out of state and assisted me with my insurance claim. She was also very helpful in explaining how the thieves were able to break in and escape surveillance. Also, Kareem was extremely nice too, explaining how their Climate Control procedures didn't cover the water damage to my antique table when rain entered my storage unit on the 2nd floor. He helped me understand that Climate Control only applies to the humidity level in the facility, not water damage from rain entering my unit. CJ and Kareem are sweethearts; too bad they couldn't persuade the owner to offer me at least one month's free rent for all the damages incurred by theft and weather, considering I've stored my belongings there since 2009. CJ and Kareem get 5 Stars for customer service; NOT Public Storage ownership. read more
