They arrived on time, finished on time, and were friendly, helpful and communicative. I didn't think they could possibly work within the minimum time estimate given, but they did! My estimate was exactly accurate. I also received a texted, itemized invoice on my phone from the corporate office, to review, a few minutes before making final payment arrangements with Daniel and Devonte. Management was very friendly and communicative, by phone and text, before and during the move, checking in with me, and ensuring I had their direct contact information, at all times. It seemed everyone I spoke with, texted with, and met with were experienced service and moving professionals, who take pride in their work, and their customers' experience. I received estimates from many companies, having had difficulty reaching my usual movers, and seeing that their pricing was no longer competitive. All My Sons was by far the best value, the most transparent, efficient, experienced, equipped, organized and most communicative... both prior to and during the move. I usually don't leave reviews, as many satisfied customers in many service industries fail to do, but I wanted to ensure that they all receive the acknowledgement and accolades they deserve for going above and beyond. I would specifically recommend you inquire regarding Daniel & Devonte's availability for a future move. They're an excellent team, and said they've worked together for some time. It shows!

The representative told me they had availability on Friday but said they couldn't confirm a time. I politely explained that I would need the move to be at least in the morning and asked if that was possible. Instead of helping or clarifying, the representative responded rudely and repeated that they "don't have a time." I calmly said that if it couldn't be early in the morning, then no worries. At that point, she abruptly hung up on me. Hanging up on a potential customer who is being polite is extremely unprofessional. Based on this interaction alone, I would not recommend this company.

I needed to move from Austin, TX to McAllen, TX for a few months and decided upon Two Men and a…read moreTruck to help me transport my belongings. It turned out that the realtor (at BIGRealty, don't use them) didn't yet have a property during the first deadline which when I informed Two Men and a Truck, had no problems changing the date. We had literally gotten the property sorted out about 2 days before our lease expiring, and again...Two Men and a Truck had no problems changing things around close to the move-out date. Their staff was super friendly and made my move easier than the realtor did. The movers arrived maybe 30 minutes late (8:30a), but that's due to Austin traffic and that I was living downtown. Once they arrived, they introduced themselves. There was Summer, the driver..and Michael, who was pretty much the muscle (despite Summer carrying the heavier stuff up a flight of stairs ;-) ). They had quoted me 4 hours due to the elevators being the far side of the building, and still ended up doing it in only 3. The rate I was given was pretty damned reasonable for a long-distance transport, and they were up-front about everything. The held my belongings for a day while I made my drive down south, and showed up exactly on time in McAllen to unload my things. Both Summer and Michael turned out to be the ones to unload my belongings as well. They were able to unload everything in a very short time, even carrying my entire CD collection to the second floor. They had me initial to make sure that everything was off of the truck, double-checked that I didn't forget anything and then was off. I'm surprised at the number of bad reviews for Two Men and a Truck and I can only believe that some of the reviewers didn't bother to pack any of their things. This is my second long-distance move, the first one was from Florida to Texas which I did myself which resulted in me learning a lot about the things that can happen during a large move. If you're too lazy to pack your own things, make sure you get mover's insurance. Talk to your regular insurance company. There's a reason why this type of insurance exists. Fortunately, we didn't need it as we made sure that we didn't have anything loose/dangling like a $10 dryer hose as listed in some of the bad reviews. When moving, make sure you use stretch-wrap to hold things together as the truck will vibrate (go rent one at U-Haul so you can feel what your belongings have to go through), tape up glass (or better yet, remove glass to be packed separately), take apart things that can be taken apart, keep screws and smaller pieces in bags, and box your belongings up as if you really care about them. We vacuum-sealed all of our clothes so that they took up less space, which would've ended up slowing the move down but Summer was able to stuff things in various places in order to make less trips. At the end of everything, we literally had no damage to any of our belongings with Two Men and a Truck. Everything is in perfect condition and it was a 4-5 hour drive. Oh, and they also overquoted me so I ended up paying less than what I had expected to pay. Too awesome. My lease here in McAllen is only a few months, and I'm definitely going to call Two Men and a Truck again to see if they'll take my business when I move back. I actually thought that the movers would've been the hardest part of the move, but the issues w/ the realtor and the property itself have been the hardest. I'm definitely now a fan of Two Men and a Truck despite many of the negative reviews and will likely use them again without hesitation.

Move was on 6/5, here was my conversation with Tristen the next day:…read more Yesterday's move did not go well. The team sent was incredibly slow. I understand that it's hot out and in no way is it acceptable that I was working harder and faster to move my belongings. Additionally, I was charged for 4.25 hours of work on top of the $160 travel fee? Why am I essentially getting charged for both travel and workers? Not to mention that your guys went to the wrong address for delivery at first so I'm getting charged for incompetence and slow workers? Also one of the guys took a 10min+ bathroom break at my new apartment. I get that nature calls and I also think it's reasonable to take breaks like that off my bill. Had I not been working as much as I was to move my stuff (both to the truck and from it) I would have had to pay for another 1-2 hours of labor which is absolute robbery. Please let me know what can be done to make this poor experience right. Tristen on 6/5: Hi Sean, I'm sorry to hear this. I will look into this and I'd like to follow up with you on Monday. Tristen on Wednesday, 6/11: Sean, do you have any photos or videos that show the crews inefficiencies? I am trying to corroborate this with the crew and dispatch manager but I don't have much to go off of. To follow up on the travel charge- that covers the time spent driving to the load location and back from the unload location, fuel expense, use of the truck and tools and equipment that we use during the move. ------- Pictures and additional text conversation included. Absolutely terrible actual service which matched the customer service. My favorite is where the team lead told me that they went to the wrong location and that it would be an hour to get to me despite me giving him the exact address and the apartment complex. I also gave them my address about 10 times when requesting and signing off on service so being charged for their inability to put in an address adds to the shi!show that it was to hire this company.

To all of you who shipped with Pitney Bowes, we are sorry. This message was written by Pitney…read moreBowes, but delivered by a third party, but it was the same day as opposed to two months late, or never happening. (From a Pitney Bowes representative) Dear Pitney Bowes customers, we would like to sincerely apologize. We don't take responsibility for poor service, we are just incompetent. Two months ago, I loaded a gift for my mentally disabled (it must run in the family) daughter for Christmas. I know I brought it home, but couldn't find it. Turns out it was in my car the whole time. Like the staff here at Pitney Bowes, I don't remember ever loading it, or getting it for that matter. Did I create the training program? Hmmm. I don't remember. Anyway, I see a lot folks saying they ordered from ADIDAS. Unfortunately for you, that's who supplies our uniforms (ADIDAS wind suits and turtle shell shoes, don't ask where we get our gold chains from) so we get those packages mixed up and well, sometimes (every time) it's easier to just not repackage and send ADIDAS customers their stuff. As for the rest of you, we just can't stand the uncertainty of what is in each package. We NEED to know. It's like Christmas every day around here. You all order some pretty neat things. Jerry found a bag one time. It had a little hose on it where you hook up something called a catheter. He fills it up with vodka every morning. Also, Jerry is a supervisor in charge of making sure all boxes are opened, inspected, and that the contents aren't dangerous. You guys have great taste. Sorry your stuff doesn't get to you all the time. We really like it. We also understand that items tend to make it all the way across the country just to be sent back to its original location. Turns out Jerry's cousin Jerry works at another facility and guess what! He also found a bag with a hose on it. I guess you can figure out what he does with it. In conclusion, I hope we answered all the questions everyone had for us. And thanks for all the cool stuff. Sincerely, Jerry
