They arrived on time, finished on time, and were friendly, helpful and communicative. I didn't think they could possibly work within the minimum time estimate given, but they did! My estimate was exactly accurate. I also received a texted, itemized invoice on my phone from the corporate office, to review, a few minutes before making final payment arrangements with Daniel and Devonte. Management was very friendly and communicative, by phone and text, before and during the move, checking in with me, and ensuring I had their direct contact information, at all times. It seemed everyone I spoke with, texted with, and met with were experienced service and moving professionals, who take pride in their work, and their customers' experience. I received estimates from many companies, having had difficulty reaching my usual movers, and seeing that their pricing was no longer competitive. All My Sons was by far the best value, the most transparent, efficient, experienced, equipped, organized and most communicative... both prior to and during the move. I usually don't leave reviews, as many satisfied customers in many service industries fail to do, but I wanted to ensure that they all receive the acknowledgement and accolades they deserve for going above and beyond. I would specifically recommend you inquire regarding Daniel & Devonte's availability for a future move. They're an excellent team, and said they've worked together for some time. It shows!

The representative told me they had availability on Friday but said they couldn't confirm a time. I politely explained that I would need the move to be at least in the morning and asked if that was possible. Instead of helping or clarifying, the representative responded rudely and repeated that they "don't have a time." I calmly said that if it couldn't be early in the morning, then no worries. At that point, she abruptly hung up on me. Hanging up on a potential customer who is being polite is extremely unprofessional. Based on this interaction alone, I would not recommend this company.

I needed to move from Austin, TX to McAllen, TX for a few months and decided upon Two Men and a…read moreTruck to help me transport my belongings. It turned out that the realtor (at BIGRealty, don't use them) didn't yet have a property during the first deadline which when I informed Two Men and a Truck, had no problems changing the date. We had literally gotten the property sorted out about 2 days before our lease expiring, and again...Two Men and a Truck had no problems changing things around close to the move-out date. Their staff was super friendly and made my move easier than the realtor did. The movers arrived maybe 30 minutes late (8:30a), but that's due to Austin traffic and that I was living downtown. Once they arrived, they introduced themselves. There was Summer, the driver..and Michael, who was pretty much the muscle (despite Summer carrying the heavier stuff up a flight of stairs ;-) ). They had quoted me 4 hours due to the elevators being the far side of the building, and still ended up doing it in only 3. The rate I was given was pretty damned reasonable for a long-distance transport, and they were up-front about everything. The held my belongings for a day while I made my drive down south, and showed up exactly on time in McAllen to unload my things. Both Summer and Michael turned out to be the ones to unload my belongings as well. They were able to unload everything in a very short time, even carrying my entire CD collection to the second floor. They had me initial to make sure that everything was off of the truck, double-checked that I didn't forget anything and then was off. I'm surprised at the number of bad reviews for Two Men and a Truck and I can only believe that some of the reviewers didn't bother to pack any of their things. This is my second long-distance move, the first one was from Florida to Texas which I did myself which resulted in me learning a lot about the things that can happen during a large move. If you're too lazy to pack your own things, make sure you get mover's insurance. Talk to your regular insurance company. There's a reason why this type of insurance exists. Fortunately, we didn't need it as we made sure that we didn't have anything loose/dangling like a $10 dryer hose as listed in some of the bad reviews. When moving, make sure you use stretch-wrap to hold things together as the truck will vibrate (go rent one at U-Haul so you can feel what your belongings have to go through), tape up glass (or better yet, remove glass to be packed separately), take apart things that can be taken apart, keep screws and smaller pieces in bags, and box your belongings up as if you really care about them. We vacuum-sealed all of our clothes so that they took up less space, which would've ended up slowing the move down but Summer was able to stuff things in various places in order to make less trips. At the end of everything, we literally had no damage to any of our belongings with Two Men and a Truck. Everything is in perfect condition and it was a 4-5 hour drive. Oh, and they also overquoted me so I ended up paying less than what I had expected to pay. Too awesome. My lease here in McAllen is only a few months, and I'm definitely going to call Two Men and a Truck again to see if they'll take my business when I move back. I actually thought that the movers would've been the hardest part of the move, but the issues w/ the realtor and the property itself have been the hardest. I'm definitely now a fan of Two Men and a Truck despite many of the negative reviews and will likely use them again without hesitation.

Move was on 6/5, here was my conversation with Tristen the next day:…read more Yesterday's move did not go well. The team sent was incredibly slow. I understand that it's hot out and in no way is it acceptable that I was working harder and faster to move my belongings. Additionally, I was charged for 4.25 hours of work on top of the $160 travel fee? Why am I essentially getting charged for both travel and workers? Not to mention that your guys went to the wrong address for delivery at first so I'm getting charged for incompetence and slow workers? Also one of the guys took a 10min+ bathroom break at my new apartment. I get that nature calls and I also think it's reasonable to take breaks like that off my bill. Had I not been working as much as I was to move my stuff (both to the truck and from it) I would have had to pay for another 1-2 hours of labor which is absolute robbery. Please let me know what can be done to make this poor experience right. Tristen on 6/5: Hi Sean, I'm sorry to hear this. I will look into this and I'd like to follow up with you on Monday. Tristen on Wednesday, 6/11: Sean, do you have any photos or videos that show the crews inefficiencies? I am trying to corroborate this with the crew and dispatch manager but I don't have much to go off of. To follow up on the travel charge- that covers the time spent driving to the load location and back from the unload location, fuel expense, use of the truck and tools and equipment that we use during the move. ------- Pictures and additional text conversation included. Absolutely terrible actual service which matched the customer service. My favorite is where the team lead told me that they went to the wrong location and that it would be an hour to get to me despite me giving him the exact address and the apartment complex. I also gave them my address about 10 times when requesting and signing off on service so being charged for their inability to put in an address adds to the shi!show that it was to hire this company.

He threatened to sue me for blasphemy if I leave a bad review LOL!!!! Go read the other reviews AND Dave's responses to them this guy is so crazy it's kind of sad. If he hates people so much why is he in a service industry? I stupidly suggested ogreman movers to my parents when we were looking to relocate the contents of our family home. Our credit card was "accidentally" charged twice. Dave has been absolutely abhorrent in the handling of the situation, especially after the bank (rightfully) reversed the extra charge. He has been completely unprofessional; extremely hateful and has continued to call my dad repeatedly to threaten and berate him. Like actual name calling and threats bordering on elder abuse. Dave is totally unhinged. Claiming we never paid him...reading other reviews it seems to be his go to scam....His treatment towards paying customers and humans in general is absolutely frightening. He is participating in actual extortion. Stay away from this scam artist.

They did an incredible job securing everything I had into the truck for optimum security. But the real cherry on top was the effort they put in to correcting the packaging of some of my furniture and other oddball pieces to make sure they got to my new state intact. They were friendly to have over and really put me at ease about the process, and on top of that their work was top notch. I would absolutely hire them again and I wish they have been on the other end of my move to do the unload; that team was far inferior to these guys. The price was fair and totally worth it.

They managed to destroy 2 family heirlooms and eventually held my belongings hostage, refusing to respond to emails/calls until I started messaging people on LinkedIn. Because they refused to deliver my furniture or make any accommodations, I had to schedule a second cross-country move just for the furniture in my Clutter unit. Their day-to-day employees are nice (shout-out Grace!) but their middle-management is dismissive, does not care at all about customers, takes no responsibility for their company's mistakes, and hides behind their "corporate policies". Using clutter cost me thousands of dollars more than it should have. It is extraordinarily exasperating. I cannot fathom how they remain in business and assume they'll go bankrupt soon. I truly never leave negative reviews, ever, but I despise this company with a passion. Do not use them under any circumstance. Don't believe me?
