There is escalating rent for literally no reason, and I was misinformed by one of their employees stating that I was going to be able to pay my rent and gain access to my unit. This is now the third review i've written about this place. Do not rent here. I cannot warn you enough. This place has raised the rent to over 300% of what I was initially paying, and has now informed me, after being late on the rent, one month, that even after paying my rent, That they have sold all my stuff at auction. I don't know how it's legal for them to continue to raise the rent at this high of a rate, I have been here for a little over a year and I'm now paying 350% of what I normally paid to start. This has been the worst experience of my life, and I had lost quite a few items that were very important to me. The rate at which they have raised the rent is similar to a loan shark. Do not rent here, you will end up overpaying and it will become difficult to continue to pay the rent each month. This place is a scam. I really hope that one day, lawmakers look into how grossly malicious this business model is. I wish that I could give them zero stars. read more

Started with "$1 first month" promotion, renting a 5x8 unit for 2 years. Pros: -Location. Conveniently off the 5 Fwy and on a main street. -Gated -Decently kept facilities -Well lit -Offers lock and shipping supplies Cons: -Not 24hrs, only from 9am-9pm -Dumpster not available to use??? -Storage unit not well insulated -Insurance increases $11 ever year. I have had multiple units at this location over the years. Worst experience EVER! On-site managers were always sympathetic but lacked any authority to take action. Poor security- units were always getting broken into, main large gate was never closed overnight except occasionally when Rigo worked there. At one point a person was living in one of the units on the furthest row inside (C or D) and manager was reluctant to evict. My last unit that was in the front before the access gates was flooded every time it rained and management NEVER would do anything about it, they just referred me to my insurance. Everything on the floor was wet 15' back into the 30' unit. The rates were continually raised in 2023 30% increase and in 2022 30% increase. A 10 X 30 was costing me $877 per month. When they hosed down the exterior of my door and flooded my unit at the beginning of Jan 2024 I could no longer take it, I went into the office to complain and just by chance the District Manager was there. He told me to file an insurance claim, I gave them oral notice that I was moving and the only thing I asked for was a couple of days leeway on the move out, he said NO they had to follow the rules and then he ran away to the back room. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION. Also the bathroom over the years was often closed, I guess to cut down on having to clean it. Really the worst experience ever and I should have moved out long ago but having to move is never fun for anyone. AVOID THIS PLACE, I'M SAVING NEARLY 50% AT A SELF STORAGE 1/2 MILE AWAY read more

Unfortunately, worst customer service at this location from a female employee whose name I did not get. And this after several years of paying on time and adhering to my contract. Supervisor Claire in PS Santa Clarita office non responsive to two phone call messages. Moved my storage to AA Universal Storage, North Hollywood, where I had excellent service for many years even with personnel changes. I came in to this location last week in needing information about a unit to store things while in the process of selling a home. The excellent customer service I received from her was above my expectations. All the legalities were explained to me in language I could understand. Checking out the property was so easy. She took the time to explain to me and my husband everything .She went above and beyond in every way. The unit itself was just the right size and it was clean and easy to access. This Public Storage location is wonderful. The manager Rigo is very helpful from inception through checking out. Rigo is always pleasant and available to help with any need and answer any questions, very professional. This Location is very convenient immediately off the 5 freeway at Osborne Street. You can drive right up to the unit which makes things so easy. It couldn't have been any better. This location has longer hours for accessing your unit which is a great advantage compared to other places or locations. I highly recommend this facility for any storage need, short or long term.
