I visited your store to return three unused items in exchange for the correct ones. The items were in their original condition and there was no valid reason to refuse the return. Nevertheless, your staff declined and required me to purchase what I needed outright, an unnecessary expense that should never have occurred. Additionally, the conduct of your counter staff was unacceptable. Rather than assisting me, they laughed among themselves and directed a rude comment toward me, a paying customer. I responded calmly. I always do. I am not angry. I am precise. And I will not be returning to that location. These individuals obviously hate themselves and their jobs, get better staff. AŚhe!

I apologize for not trusting you Adrian. I learned a valuable lesson here!

Since I am a driver, and I mostly drive the Set Dressing department(High Paid Movers)(Ask Scott E),…read morewe do a lot of moving and packing up sets. Since we do this so frequently, it stands to reason, that we are always going through 2 wheel and 4 wheel dolly's, packing supplies, such as tape, boxes, tape guns, and even bubble wrap or shrink wrap. Where else would we think of going but New Haven Moving Equipment? I am going to say, that customer service is always top notch. Unfortunately, we didn't get the nice lady's name that helped us, but she was incredibly insightful, in helping us choose which 2 dolly's we were buying. She also suggested that we get the bigger wheels, that won't go flat. After you get your order paid for, you walk on the dock where it seems like all the guys are willing to come over and help you, no matter how busy they are. While we waited, maybe all of 10 minutes for them to change or put on the tires, on the new dolly, Larry, the president of the company came over and introduced himself. I thought that was very classy. He thanked us for our business and gave us his business card and told us if there is anything we are ever looking for that they don't have, he will get it for us. Great guy, and a great place. All 3 people we dealt with on this visit made this stop, that much more enjoyable. It doesn't matter if you are moving your home, a room, or just packing up things for storage, go to New Haven for your supplies. Sure, sometimes the prices are a little higher than others, but I would rather pay a little more for something I know is going to last a very long time, rather than pay next to nothing for something I have to replace within a few days. They have huge bulk items, or smaller quantities available, but whatever you need, they probably have it. Give them a try next time you are moving, I'm sure you will love them as much as we do. Awesome supplies, awesome customer service, and a HUGE selection. What else could you ask for from a vendor?

We have strong suspicions that they stole a handful of our belongings including 3 very expensive and authentic baseball jerseys, Stanley cups, and several pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses. We are still uncovering what else they might have stolen while unpacking. We have had to move several times with the military and we have never experienced our belongings being stolen

UPDATE. I HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE AND A TEXT THAT SEEMS TO SUGGEST A THREAT…read more ---------------- This is purely for the lack of customer service, and honestly I think I dodged a bullet. I reached out last week for a quote via Yelp. I get a response almost immediately and was setting up a day and time to move. I paid the refundable $50 deposit and never received any type of confirmation but I luckily took a photo of the confirmation number before I closed out of the screen. I sent it to them just so there can be some type of paper trail. They confirmed, again almost immediately. A day or two later I no longer needed the service and reached out requesting a refund of my deposit since I am very much in the window of getting it back. October 26th was the first email. Nothing. October 27th, second email asking for a response and receipt of refund. Nothing. I called the number and it went to voicemail. I submitted another "request for a quote" using Yelp and guess what? I got a response. How ridiculous that I have to go through the process just to get a reply? I request for a receipt of refund and he said it was emailed. There was nothing emailed. I checked my entire inbox and there was nothing sent. I emailed using the same thread this morning and I got a response immediately again claiming than an there was an email that is automatically sent of the refund and to check my spam/junk folder. Obviously I had already checked and there is no email. There is absolutely no reason why this process should be like pulling teeth. I know I could easily check my bank account but you work in the customer service industry, moving is already incredibly stressful so for your team to add more stress is not a good look. I wonder where all of your 5 star reviews came from - my only guess is that there's been a change in management to offer some type of excuse but 100% will never recommend just for this ridiculous exchange and email attempts.

Worst moving experience ever!! I had a contract with American Moving Company they subcontracted…read morethese guys? Now the people who came were nice and professional and did do a good job? But they took less than 1/2 what I originally had in the contract because I took a load myself? Then they still wanted more $ and said they didn't have room? That was not a big deal because I was hauling a trailer myself that still had room.. Now here is where the problems really started is the day before the delivery day they said it will be an extra $700 for a convenience fee that they can not deliver with a semi to my address? I live in the country in Tennessee with a private road where I'm the only house ? Not like I live in the city or an apartment? The horse shippers had no problem delivering in their Semi? The guy down the street has his own semi and trailer? It was just an excuse to extort more $$!! So when I called them out on it that's when they got rude! Then I got rude back! And they are refusing to deliver my stuff? There is zero customer service!! So then I looked on FB and was horrified by all the negative reviews!! Do not use them!! Pay more and use a real company like Allied!! I went with them to save $$ but they do that so you sign! And once you sign you are screwed! And the original nice guy who came to my house said that they could not put any more in the truck because they had to get somebody else's stuff that was moving to Tennessee also and that's the same truck that was going? And if they did move it to a semi? They had no permission to do so!! And if they had the address in the beginning? Who would they add $700 later? It should have been in the contract!!
