    I write this as an impassioned plea to anyone considering using Pro Movers, urging you to reconsider for a better service. This was our first time using a moving service to move from Culver City to DTLA. It's just myself and my girflriend and with a bad back, there's no way I could move in the alloted time. But we wanted to be fair to the movers so we took what we could in our studio apartment and made it easy as possible for them to move in the alloted 3-hour minimum. Fred (at the time) and Deonte were pleasant, expressing gratitude for the assistance and being receptive and thanking us for being pleasant customers. Even when there were accidents during the move (broken plastic bins) because the dolleys were overloaded with items. They took off the gas deposit of $30 to reimburse for damages. We can get more at Target so it wasn't a big deal. What is a big deal, and what prompted me writing this in the first place, was that a day later when we got our bed set up and ready to sit down for dinner, come to find out that our 65" TV had been irreperably damaged. Photo attached. Clearly there was an item or something leaning on the top part of the screen during the move. The screen itself isn't cracked so the problem is underneath on the TV itself. We contacted Pro Movers on their website but got a call from Fred (Who Isn't Even the Foreman or Manager) saying that he would have a friend see if he could fix the TV, which is just about the most LA thing you could say for a resolution. And when given the choice to do the right thing vs. not, there was pushback of them saying that we "sIgNeD tHe cOnTrAcT" and to basically kick rocks. A quite frankly disgusting bottom-barrell response to abdicate responsibility and weasel out of treating your customers with decency and respect. They wanted 0.60 PER POUND, which would've added up to be $500 or so in addition to the $500 and the previous deposits, rent, storage costs, etc., Pro Movers decides to slap on additional fees in the likely circumstance that the items will be damaged upon arrival. And in a situation that most folks are vulnerable and already paying through the nose. My girlfriend and I have already re-purchased a new TV to avoid more contact with Fred, Custom P. and Pro Movers and Packers in general, because in dealing with Fred (WHO AGAIN ISN'T AN OFFICE ADMIN OR SUPERVISOR), he has raised his voice at my girlfriend and lamenting about his own home and work. While he has my sympathy, as we all have things causing stress especially now, adding onto ours frankly leaves me numb to the pleas. They asked us for a five star review before the job was even done and we complied, foolishly. I ignored the one-stars as people who may have been unreasonable in their expectations. Items get damaged in the moving process, and that's to be expected, but to dance around and kick the can as they are is unquestionably and objectively wrong when the items were damaged due to their own negligence. Hiding behind insurance policies and not making those clear from the get-go is wrong. Response to Custom P.: TV wasn't cracked but was damaged underneath. Calling us the liars is hilarious. Get a real job that isn't trolling Yelp reviews to gaslight and lie to people. I can see your red nose and shoes and polka dot suit from here, bud.

    I didn't hire movers at first during my move but realized we could not get my favorite couch up through our stairs. It also did not fit through our outdoor stairs so had no idea what to do. I called this company who had the best rates and they said they could hoist it up through the balcony at no extra charge other than we needed to hire 3 people. They also honored our time we signed up for since they originally tried to take up outside stairs. We were so happy when they hoisted it up!! They also moved my roomates belongings in an efficient manner. Highly recommend as they have the best rates and can get it all done!

    Used this guys for a move into the house. The price quote was very reasonable, response from the managers quick and informative. The Desi and Mono showed up with the big truck and we're able to pack everything quickly and efficiently. Wrapping service was free and we took advantage of it. Overall I liked the service. I would recommend this guys to my friends and will use them again. Thanks!

    On Sunday, we had two movers help me move from a one bedroom apartment to another across town. We had two movers, one was named Ghalib, and another one whose name I didn't catch. They were amazing highly recommend. They handled our items with care. They also had to carry our items up a flight of stairs since our apartment was located on the second floor with no elevator. I requested items to be wrapped, expecting only the TV to be wrapped.... however, come to my surprise they also wrapped my dining table, the chairs, my glass, bookshelf, my bed frame, and my mattress. They went above and beyond to make sure that my items were taken care of, they had really good ideas to move items effectively (they lifted the king mattress between the ground floor and the 2nd floor, since stairs were tricky) The booking was $89 an hour for two movers, and they offered to bring their dolly, plastic wrap, and a super large truck. This truck was larger than the typical U-Haul so overall a really great value and high-quality work, highly recommend. Ghalib was amazing and so thoughtful!!!! It was a super hot day so we provided ice waters/cold drinks for them to access- lots of hard work. Total time for our move was 4.5 hours. Communication upon booking was pretty sparse, I did not get a confirmation email after I paid the deposit so I was a little sketched out. OK after I texted the number and was able to confirm with Jack the details of our move. On the morning of I got a text at around 830 saying that the movers were 27 minutes away and we arrive promptly at around 9:15. If we move again, we will definitely be using them!

    Broke my bookcase. Disnt even remove the shelves while moving it. Like, duh, the shelves will slide off!

    They left my stuff outside! Didnt return to help me take it up. Even though ibgave them benefit of the doubt and they said theyd come back after another job. They also broke part of my bookcase and took in their truck the top glass to my living room table. A lot of my legs and edges of items were dent. They also dont carry enough boxes, blankets, and didnt pack my glassware as I had mentioned I needed help with. I ended up packing my glass is basic bags. They were also 2 hrs late. Their window was 9-10:30 and they arrived at 11AM. A nightmare of an experience! They seem to get a wakeup call and no one mentions to them what the person needs, if they have enough material, etc. They were surprised of my location and arrived really late. Seems like employees dont communicate the needs of the job at all.

    Please read before you book there services. I booked this company because they had good reviews and also because we have very heavy expensive furniture so my husband and I did not want to damage our furniture moving ourselves. I first reached out to the company on July 22, 2021 and spoke to the owner. He asked me how many bedrooms moving so I told him 3 and he said all you need is 3 guys. I told him I called multiple companies and all of them told me I need 4 guys he said they are just trying over charge you I am not in the industry so I did not question him. July 29, 2021 was our move date 3 guys showed up at 10:50 when I was told they would be at my property at 9-10:30am I was understanding let it go. One of the guys did not even work for the company the boss was going to send 2 guys and the lead mover went and picked up his brother to help them so unprofessional. However what concerned me the most was the fact that they were not able to drive the truck into my drive way and almost broke the gate and that their eyes were bloodshot (I caught them vaping so I'm assuming they were smoking marijuana). Yes this should have been enough for me to call the owner but it was way to late to get another company to come out so I let it go and hoped for the best. Couple of days later I reached out to the owner explaining to him that my furniture was damaged very badly and that I need his insurance information so I can claim the damages. I was told that he would ask his movers and get back to me this is the text I got back from him with a picture. "I'm just speaking to movers. They don't accept any of the picture damages you claiming. Also from the pictures it looks all old damages. They wrapped all furniture with blankets. We have pictures of wrapped furniture. Also that paint crack Damage is not moving damage at all. Also you have to claim any damage right away before movers close the contract. Maximum you have 24 hours." As you can see from my pictures the damages were done with the blade they used to cut open the furniture and they fact that they did not actually left the furniture they dragged them and left damages. One of my pieces still has the fabric from the cloth fibers embedded into the furniture. When it came time to pay we wanted to pay with a credit card he upped the price so much so that we would pay with cash. Now I understand why so you will not be able to get your money back when they damage your furniture. Also I will mention that they tried to charge me for longer hours saying we got to your property at 10am I said no you showed up late he fixed it. Also they did not give me the 30 dollar deposit I already paid to just book them. Please be aware of this before you decide to hire the so called pro movers. If you don't care about your furniture then hire guys from home depot parking lot you will save money and maybe have better service. I am left with expensive damaged furniture and no help from the owner of the company.

    Good guys came with huge truck and wrap up all my furniture. Reservation online and book movers, it was very easy. They definitely made my life easy and forget about sentimental moving feeling with joking around! 100% reccomend. good guys wrap stuff good easy to book / no complicated questions good deal! Paid around $280 ($30 gas) for 3 hours, studio size they were late 1 hour but always answer phone

From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. Moving is usually a very stressful experience, but Fito and the Pure Moving team made it feel manageable and even reassuring. I found them to be excellent in every way, and I would highly recommend both the company and this specific crew to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and professional help on moving day.

For reference, we are a family of four, with two little kids in a three bedroom / two bathroom house. The price point was pretty reasonable and they were flexible, given the fact that they are located in Los Angeles, and we wanted them to come up to the Bay Area to help us move down to the Los Angeles area. They called us the day before to confirm all the details. When we realized that the truck was over the weight limit, Yana quickly called us to give us a couple of options. We opted for another truck to meet the first truck, to distribute the weight. It was an extra cost, but reasonable, considering the issue at hand. These guys were efficient and quick. We apparently have a ton of stuff lol. They originally mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 hours to move everything into the truck, but in reality, it took approximately 5-6 hours. They were punctual and even got there five minutes before the agreed-upon time. I wasn't there when they brought in everything, but my husband said that they did an amazing job at putting the boxes where they were supposed to be, based on our labeled boxes. They reassembled everything, no problem. I called 5 to 6 moving companies, and we are happy that we decided to go with this company, given the communication, efficiency, and price point. If you need movers, this is the company to go with.

They took their sweet time since I was being charged by the hour and I ended up having to pay $1,853.75 because they turned what should have been no more than a 6-hour job into 10 hours. To make matters worse, I still spent the next morning packing up the refrigerator and remaining items they left in the pantry which they were supposed to do as apart of the move. Details: I was originally quoted $150 per hour, but before the movers started I was told the price would actually be $179 per hour because I booked the service the same day. While I was notified before the job began, the quote I originally received was already for same-day service, and the person I booked with knew I needed the move done immediately which made raising the price in that moment felt unreasonable. Still, I moved forward thinking that it wouldn't be more than 5 hours given the fact I already packed the majority of the house myself. I was sadly mistaken. As I mentioned, the Packman movers were paid hourly, and the team of 3 turned what should have been at most a 5-hour job into a 10-hour job. For perspective, the last time I moved I used a different company that also sent three movers to my same layout -- a two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome with the same amount of stairs inside and outside the entryway. However, that previous company fully packed my entire home, moved everything to the new house, and reassembled my beds and desk all within 10 hours total. This time, however, I had already packed the majority of the house myself -- all clothing, bathroom items, and most kitchen items. The movers only needed to pack the refrigerator and one remaining pantry with five shelves, wrap furniture, and load the truck. I have multiple pictures as proof of this. Yet somehow it took this team of three men SIX hours just to disassemble two beds and wrap a couch, four small dressers, the dining table, 6 small chairs, two desks, and two office chairs. Nearly everything else was already packed in moving bags and boxes and just needed to be loaded into the truck. By the time they finally brought everything to the new house -- which is only 10 minutes away -- it was after 11 PM and they started at 1:40. They did not reassemble the beds or desks, did not unwrap the furniture, and left boxes and bags scattered throughout the home. They also left doors unlocked at the old home and left the patio door wide open when they left, which is incredibly careless. To make matters worse, the lead mover, Sam, signed the contract on my behalf WITHOUT my consent when the job was finished. I did not notice until after I paid and requested a copy of the receipt. My aunt was present at the time and can confirm this. I called the company the next day after seeing the condition my old place was left in and left a voicemail explaining my concerns, yet no one returned my call. Unfortunately I paid via Zelle so I cannot dispute the charge, but I will be filing a formal complaint regarding this experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully document their move and review their contract before signing. Based on the service I received, I would never recommend this company to anyone else. Truly a nightmare. The price does not match the service, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Please save your money and choose a company that values professionalism, efficiency, and customer care.

The team was efficient, respectful, and understanding of the hot mess of a move we had for them - lots of packing help with not a lot was ready to go, plus some unexpected furniture moving that required disassembly/reassembly. They came right about 15 minutes after the end of the arrival window which actually worked out well so we could prepare more for them, but overall everything was faster than they/we estimated which is great when you're paying by the hour. They used supplies we had bought from Home Depot and Amazon, plus their own for the wardrobe and other big things. One glass jar was broken in the unpacking process and they were quick to apologize and clean it up the best they could. While they ask customers to leave a review (totally understandable), I appreciate that they don't incentivize for them nor do they demand 5 stars. We'll be calling for them again, no doubt. Thank you!

We had scheduled a delivery day and time, and only hours before they told me that it was not going to happen. Every day after that, I called them and they told me it was being delayed by a further day. They never reached out to me to tell me or to schedule a new time. I had to reach out to them every time. Finally, after 4 days I got them to schedule a time. To add insult to injury, they showed up over 2 hours late to that scheduled time too. Horribly unprofessional, will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I didn't mind the delay. But the complete lack of communication was unacceptable. I had to sleep on an air mattress and stay at friend's places, without any knowledge of where my stuff was or when it was coming.

Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. I definitely recommend Ivan and his team at Prodigy
