The Magic Carpet Ride of Moving!…read more Ever wished Aladdin's genie could conjure up a moving experience that was actually fun? Well, rub that magic lamp because Osmon Moving & Storage is the wish-granted, laugh-packed moving day you never thought possible! I called in these magicians for my recent move and, folks, my belongings might as well have sprouted wings. They didn't just move my stuff; they practically choreographed a Broadway number with my furniture. My hefty bookcase? Glided into the truck like a prima ballerina. My unwieldy mattress? Floated up the stairs as if it was lighter than a feather. They say they move your life, and boy, do they deliver--handling my vinyl records with the kind of reverence usually reserved for royal jewels or the last slice of pizza. Precision, you ask? Their quote was so accurate, I thought they had a crystal ball. Efficiency? They were quicker than a cat on a Roomba, buzzing around with an energy that had me double-checking my calendar for the next full moon. What's more, the attention to detail would make Sherlock Holmes nod in approval. While they packed, I half-expected them to find Waldo hiding in my closet. My plants arrived at my new place more refreshed than if they'd spent a week at a spa, and not a single glass was missing from my collection of quirky mugs. In the end, moving with Osmon Moving & Storage was like a hilarious night in with friends, where you accidentally get a whole lot of work done. If you're looking to relocate and actually enjoy the journey, give these folks a call. It's the best decision since sliced bread met the toaster. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for a move so smooth, my houseplants didn't even drop a leaf!

A CAUTIONARY TALE: My husband and I hired Osmon Movers for a…read moremove from LA to the Bay Area on 4/1/22. They arrived the week of, as we hired them to assist with packing and loading as well. We purchased additional insurance to protect ourselves from accidental damage but little did we know that we would soon be receiving a ransacked truck with many of our belongings missing or damaged to the tune of over $15,000. For clarity, our move was a 3-day process. Osmon's team sent 3 employees to pack on Wednesday, 4 employees to load our belongings on Thursday, and they were expected to deliver 4 employees and the 24' truck full of our belongings on Friday morning at 9 am. On Wednesday, during packing, the foreman demanded that we pay for parking at an $80 fee. They used the boxes we had, and then supplemented a limited amount of packing supplies at a total of over $400. Two items were broken by their employees. We paid in full for the day's work + tips for the employees. On Thursday, the truck was packed and it was time to pay for the day's work. The foreman requested a 25% tip, stating that this was the standard practice. When my husband declined to fulfill this request (the move was estimated to be $5000 total at this point, and $1000 in tips on top of paying approximately $76/hr/employee was far from what we deemed as reasonable) he became visibly angry. My husband attempted to thank him, and still paid for the day's work and provided over $50 in tips per employee. The foreman turned away from him without a word and gathered his belongings to leave. As per the website, the standard tip is $4-6/hr/employee. The information provided by the foreman was a blatant lie. At this point, we were beginning to get frustrated by the lack of transparency, professionalism, and honesty displayed but we continued on as normal. The next morning, we were expected to meet the new moving crew at 9 am at our new apartment. By 9:40, we still had not received contact from anyone on their team. My husband called the foreman from the previous days, and said, "The driver had an emergency and you're not going to get your stuff today. Someone will call you in 30 minutes." He then hung up on us without explanation. We contacted customer service approximately 3-4 times as they would not provide us with a clear answer as to what had happened to the driver or our belongings. I was kept on hold for over a half-hour, hung up on, and ultimately not contacted until almost 12 noon with any explanation at all. Apparently, their truck was stolen at 7 am, and no one told us until 5 hours later. We were instructed to use our homeowner's insurance because "moving company insurance isn't that good," as per their customer service representative Joan. If we wouldn't have called I really don't know when they would have contacted us. At 10 pm that night, I get a text from a new number saying that the truck was recovered. Apparently, it was from the owner, who had not contacted us prior and did not introduce himself as the owner. It wasn't until the following day that we were advised that the truck was parked at a hotel in Oakland (which is unbelievably notorious for car theft and break-in) when it was stolen. We were told that it looked like the only thing that was stolen was a TV, which as per the pictures is impossible. (We would soon see that the first 10-12 ft of the truck were completely destroyed.) We asked for delivery first thing the next morning, and were told that they couldn't do it because they already had something planned for the morning. At this point, I heard no concern for our belongings, our experience, or that this company wanted to right the wrong that happened on their watch. We paid them thousands of dollars to be entrusted with literally all of our belongings - irreplaceable wedding gifts, family heirloom items, furniture, antiques, art, clothing, baby pictures, everything. Of the belongings that were returned, many were destroyed, stained, and haphazardly dumped into mixed boxes. Once the remainder of our things were unloaded, I was immediately pressed for an inventory of missing items and to sign a new contract. After all of this, the company expected (1) immediate payment, (2) a concrete list of items missing without ample time to inventory the mess they delivered, and (3) to sign a contract stating that I had received a complete and substantial service. I firmly believe that this was an attempt to further skirt liability as the next time I spoke with the owner, Janysh, he informed me that even though our contract explicitly states that we had additional insurance to cover the items in full, his team failed to file the request with their 3rd party insurance provider. Time and time again, we were made to feel as if our experience and belongings were the last thing on their mind. They are refusing to cover the $15k in loss/damages, and we are now forced to file a breach of contract lawsuit to recuperate our losses.

I called up Ian's movers and Ann extremely quick with her responses and offered me a quote. Eddie communicated well with me regarding the moving process: And 3 days later, Andrii and Vladimir were there to help my move back into my apartment. Theyre less expensive than a lot of the companies i inquired with but require a 3 hour minimum, which is standard for most moving companies in the area. I don't have much stuff, so I was a little worried they might milk the time and go over the 3 hours. But Andrii and Vladimir were extremely nice, quick, efficient, and gentle with my things. They send photos during the process of any already broken/scuffed things to make sure you're aware (and to also cover their own asses I'm sure) They finished loading and unloading a 1br apartment in 2 hours. I highly recommend and will call them again whenever I get I new place!

The next day, they arrived in Vegas to unpack. They were quick, professional, and very personable! Would recommend. Vadim has been great! Thank you sooooo much for making our move seamless. *Updating a day later, after fully unpacking.* My husband and I started unpacking as the movers were still moving things. We noticed three plates, a bowl, and a ramekin had been broken. We also noticed damage to our son's play kitchen. It was still functional, but broken. We were going to let it slide because we understand that things happen, but after we've fully unpacked, there were multiple vases that were broken in one box which held value and I am pretty upset about this. So maybe just some advice going forward, be more strategic with the way that you pack things.

He offered a partial refund, which I appreciated. Because of how respectfully this was handled, I'm updating my review and adjusting my star rating to reflect the resolution. That said, I will return with another update if the refund does not arrive within the promised week.) I am extremely disappointed upon arriving at my place and opening my boxes that were in storage this past week. On 29 March, 2026, I hired this company to do only the packing, and the pre-unpacking review was positive only because the movers were friendly. Now, I know why - a bit akin to servers being overly friendly just before giving the bill. On 7 April, 2026, I finally was able to take my stuff out of storage and open some of the boxes. I'm absolutely floored at what I've discovered. Long and short of it, one of the boxes was never even fully taped or taped at all, and everything that was in my drawers had been dumped into the box. Nothing was wrapped, including the little lamp that I had - just took the lightbulb out and threw it in there. Took off the shade so it would fit - didn't care if it got crushed or torn. Then, I guess he couldn't or was too lazy (?) to put the shoes all in one box or something, because he dumped a bunch of them in there, too! No glass or breakable items were wrapped and I had supplied them with plenty of wrapping paper, as there was even some leftover. Bottles of liquid substance were not securely shut and protected from leakage. It appeared as though drawers of things were dumped out into boxes with no regard. I haven't opened all the boxes, but from what I've seen so far, I suspect I'll have to update. I will also add that without seeing any price list for boxes, no transparency about that whatsoever, I ended up paying $95 just for boxes - they said they would use as many of mine as possible, and even after the 10 small ones they gave gratis, there were several of mine leftover, but I was out $95, and no one showed me the price breakdown of this. There is *no way that was an honest summary! Furthermore, I was pressured by one of the movers into giving a 20% tip! The audacity! Especially after deceitfully charging me $95 for a few boxes!!! I emailed customer service address, along with a direct reply to Michell, who processed my order, as well as a text to his assistant Megan. As I figured, I would be ghosted once I needed actual "after I've paid" support. I read other reviews that said similar. No one has reached out via phone call or email. The reply Megan wrote in a text seems like the canned responses all businesses use, and rarely, do these hold any water. I am out of pocket over $500 due to this poor service, but that doesn't matter to them, because it's now in their pockets now. p.s.When I went onto Yelp to review them, there is a warning pop-up about fake reviews. I've attached photo.

They worked fast but still was careful with all my stuff. I had a heavy refrigerator on the second floor and honestly I thought it was going to take a long time. They got it downstairs much faster than I expected and nothing got scratched or damaged. They also moved all my furniture and boxes without any problems. Every time I asked to put something in a different room they did it with no complaints. You can tell they care about doing the job right and not just finishing as fast as possible. They stayed busy the whole time and I never saw anyone standing around. Moving is usually stressful but this time everything felt easy. The guys had a good attitude and even joked a little which made the day better. The price was fair and there was no surprise at the end. I appreciate people who work hard and respect someone else's home and these guys did exactly that. I would definitely call Ryan and his team again if I need movers in the future. I already told one of my friends about them because good moving companies are not easy to find. Thanks again for all the hard work and making the whole move much easier than I expected.
