Broken cabinet handle that I had to find out for myself after movers had already left.

Move Details: Distance -- 10 miles 2 bd apartment to 2 bd townhouse TLDR: Movers got everything from A to B, but took their time to extend number of hours worked and left numerous damages in my new home and some belongings. It took me a few days to write this review, as I am a busy parent of a small child who is dealing with all the things most people are experiencing nowadays. I wanted to be fair and make sure I checked all of my belongings, home condition, and assessed my overall impression of my experience with All In Moving Services before writing this thorough review. The initial consultation phone call and day-of correspondence was very professional and made me feel at ease. The three movers I had (Junior, Chino, and Mariachi) were all wearing masks in the beginning and went straight to work within 5 minutes of meeting them which I was very pleased with. Prior to the moving day, I had 90% of my belongings packed in boxes which were stacked and ready to dolly out -- easy peasy. The other 10% were large items (fridge, TV, dressers). I did my best on my end to ensure a smooth and efficient move to minimize the number of hours I would be charged for the service. 30 minutes into the service, I walked out to the street just to see how much space the moving truck had and to check out the loading process (I was the only set of eyes, as my wife and child were at our new home). One of the workers was already taking a break in the park while the other two were chatting and joking around inside the truck. They quickly went back to work after one of them noticed me. The loading time took 3 hours, which was way longer than I had anticipated considering the fact that nothing had to be disassembled and there were very few stairs to maneuver through. Some of that excess time was due to a lack of professional strategy as to how things should be wrapped and loaded. For example, I was disassembling a bed frame but one of the workers told me it would be easier to leave it as is. I explained to him that it will be easier to move into the new home, but he resisted. Eventually the lead worker took a look and agreed with me that disassembling would be best; this ate up a lot of extra time. Speaking of which, I personally volunteered to help out with moving several of the furniture and boxes into and out of the truck because I found the service to be very slow. Since the workers get paid by the hour, they have no incentive to complete their job efficiently. They let me help them without reserve, which probably meant they moved even slower to neutralize my efforts. By the way, the distance between my old home and new home is 10 miles yet it took the moving truck just over 1 hour to arrive (it was early afternoon, not rush hour). I called about 45 minutes into the transit and asked if they were close -- the worker said they were 10-12 minutes away. I waited outside the entire time because I needed to show them where to park the truck, but they arrived about 20 minutes after the expected time. I know they stopped by somewhere and took a break because their seating arrangement was different from when they got into the truck at my old home. I'm all for workers taking breaks, especially because it is a physically demanding service, but I don't think customers should have to pay for an indefinite length of break time because every minute counts. At my new home, the move started off slow even though now they had 2 sets of eyes helping to guide them. There were many visible/structural damages done to our walls, floors, and even one cabinet door handle. I noticed these damages after the workers had already left -- it would have been nice to be informed of the obvious damages that they were aware of themselves, but instead they chose to be hush about it which is not an honest move on their part. When the clock was nearing the end of the hour, I heard the lead worker announce to the other workers that they would be wrapping up soon. I noticed right away the speed and effort levels shifted dramatically, as the workers moved a lot quicker but still were not careful about how my belongings were placed in my home. All in all the entire move took 6 hours when I reasonably felt like it should have taken 3-4 hours. I couldn't afford to pay for more than 6 hours, so I asked them to just drop off all the boxes in my garage since I know they would have taken their sweet time carrying boxes up the stairs. I understand this was a super long review! but I hope that it provides helpful insight into your decision whether or not to hire this company. My experience was not satisfactory, but I truly believe the moving service relies 100% on the people you happen to get on your moving day. I hope you get lucky with honest and hard-working movers, good luck with your move!

BEWARE OF CRAPPY SERVICE!!! This just happened on March 11, 2019: Now I understand that moving can be pricy, but I've used this company before and I was not even close to being pleased with the work or lack there of. Did they switch ownership or something because the customer service was terrible to say the least!! Before we started with them we told them how much money we had and how much time we had. The guys acted like they didn't understand that concept until it came close to paying up. Guys were on their cell phones half the time Speaking Russian, only two out of the three moved the things inside while one stayed in the truck, and when me and my family offered to help so we could meet our deadline of completion they turned down our assistance as if they could get the job done much quicker and more efficient. It's almost as if they purposefully went slow just to get the most money out of the move. Then I finally talked to the manager on the phone which didn't help. He acted like he had a hearing problem and kept on stating that they weren't charging us double drive time like other companies, that we were getting a discount, and that we had to pay whatever the total was despite our concerns at the time. After that conversation he said that he would stop the time and we would only have to pay a quoted price. At the end it was $100 more than that quoted price so they didn't even hold up their end of the bargain. All this crap not to even put items together and put them in their appropriate places. I'm pretty sure that it I went with some other company my house wouldn't be looking like people just threw our shit inside and left. I recommend that if you're looking for a good moving company that you look elsewhere. Don't let this crap happen to you. Don't spend your money here with them.

Bob and Zayd did a great job moving for us from oc to la. It was a great experience. We would definitely have them again next time we move. Everything was delivered fast. And they showed up on time.

I stumbled across All in Moving after my dad couldn't fly back from Pittsburgh to help me move. He told me he would pay for whatever I need to get everything done. Since my friends are lazy, I just rented All in Moving services and they did a great job. I had a lot of crap and what not, but I definitely wouldn't have been able to move all my things alone. It took about 3 hours which was the minimum time to get everything done. Thanks so much for helping because I'm only 96 lbs with barely any muscle. They treated my things very gently even my heavy vanity mirror. Definitely would recommend this to everyone if you're alone and don't have anyone to help. Attached a photo of my new room with their help and nothing is damaged.

Damaged furniture due to botched moving job.

If I could give this scammy company 0 stars I would. Do not use this company! After a botched move job, I filed a claim for a full refund and damages last TWO saturdays ago after a botched job/service performance by their movers. I was told I would hear back within 3-5 days at the latest. I never received a call. I then called this past Thursday and was told I would receive a call that day. Never got a call and it's now today is Thursday and I called and demanded a refund and had a rude, mean spirited "claims associate" try and gaslight me into believing a $100 refund (after spending almost $1000 on botched services) was suitable. Hiring this company resulted in: Damaged furniture Damaged drywall Scuffed walls Incomplete job (boxes and furniture left in our garage and not moved into the home) Only 2 movers when the contract was for 3 movers (this made a big difference) Over 2 hour delay by the movers between locations (took my family and I just over 1 hour to drive the same distance) My husband moved over half of all items and was involved in moving almost all of the heavy items given the lack of experience or capacity by the movers My husband and brother almost being crushed by a fridge that your employee suggested we hoist over a balcony The furniture was never assembled by the movers despite it being their contractual obligation and my husband had to do it after they left And many other terrible things In short, they have had every opportunity to rectify this situation and couldn't care less about this review or the awful experience and cost to our family. Not the kind of company or energy you want to invite into your home! I am pursuing legal action against them and hope that will stop anyone from ever having the type of experience we had!

Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. I definitely recommend Ivan and his team at Prodigy

Then Abby, the manager of schedule talked as if I was wrong and was unapologetic then just started complaining WHY CANT WE JUST TAKE THIS DATE SINCE MOVERS THERE ALREADY. I told her cuase were busy today and she just handled the entire situation as if we were to blame and never apologized. On top of that , their work order of WHERE to move my things was the WRONG ADDRESS!!! They dont really care about details and when they make mistakes, they act like your wrong and are rude about it. I understand miscommunications happens all the time, but even after showing her the clear emails which she confirmed herself in writing, she had no apologies. I have zero confidence in this mover company and cancelled the enitre order and will be hiring real pros. I have no idea how they got so many high yelp reviews. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

The team was efficient, respectful, and understanding of the hot mess of a move we had for them - lots of packing help with not a lot was ready to go, plus some unexpected furniture moving that required disassembly/reassembly. They came right about 15 minutes after the end of the arrival window which actually worked out well so we could prepare more for them, but overall everything was faster than they/we estimated which is great when you're paying by the hour. They used supplies we had bought from Home Depot and Amazon, plus their own for the wardrobe and other big things. One glass jar was broken in the unpacking process and they were quick to apologize and clean it up the best they could. While they ask customers to leave a review (totally understandable), I appreciate that they don't incentivize for them nor do they demand 5 stars. We'll be calling for them again, no doubt. Thank you!

They delivered my furniture 4 days late, and they were not communicative at all or even apologetic…read moreabout the delay. We had scheduled a delivery day and time, and only hours before they told me that it was not going to happen. Every day after that, I called them and they told me it was being delayed by a further day. They never reached out to me to tell me or to schedule a new time. I had to reach out to them every time. Finally, after 4 days I got them to schedule a time. To add insult to injury, they showed up over 2 hours late to that scheduled time too. Horribly unprofessional, will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I didn't mind the delay. But the complete lack of communication was unacceptable. I had to sleep on an air mattress and stay at friend's places, without any knowledge of where my stuff was or when it was coming.

Z Movers was honestly one of the best parts of what could have been a very stressful move. The team…read moreworked incredibly hard from start to finish and went out of their way to help smooth over multiple building and logistics issues during move day. They were professional, efficient, careful, and impressively fast while still taking great care of our belongings. They safely moved an extremely heavy marble table without issue, and at the very end of the move we asked them to maneuver a very large, heavy dresser through a narrow hallway in our newly renovated home. They somehow managed to do it safely without damaging the walls, floors, or furniture. I was honestly amazed watching them work. What stood out most was their attitude throughout the entire process. Even when delays and complications came up outside of their control, they stayed calm, solution-oriented, and hardworking the entire day. I almost wished they would take longer breaks because of how nonstop they worked. They were also very transparent about pricing, which was fair, and communication throughout the process was excellent. Also, please feed your movers during lunch and ask if they have any allergies or dietary restrictions. This crew absolutely deserved it. After this experience, they'll definitely be our go-to movers moving forward, and we'll gladly recommend them to our family and friends. Highly recommend.
