First let me start by saying Nick was very accommodating, and understanding to my situation as I had them scheduled but had to cancel due to issues with my move in, so I lost out on my $50 deposit, however, Nick offered me a 3 man crew at the same cost as the 2 man crew with the exception that's all he had available for the next day. Secondly, the moving crew (Tim, Ram, Astan) were very professional, hard working and organized. These guys moved us out of our studio and into our new apartment within 2 hours, granted we had most of our stuff already boxed, and ready to go, it made the job go smooth. They even dismounted the TV, dissembled the bed, and wrapped the TV and mattress for extra protection. These guys were fast and efficient but made sure to take care of our stuff like it was their own, securing everything in the truck accordingly. Before unloading at the new apartment they confirmed where we wanted certain boxes and assembled the bed for us. So if you're hesitant about hiring movers don't be with these guys, as they reliable, on-time, and move with a sense of urgency but are careful with you things at the same time. Booked a last minute service with AB Moving Services (a day before I needed the move). The first person I communicated with was Nick and he was very informative and laid out all the details for what I needed. And then Ayda called to confirm the schedule and I provided additional details about my move, she was friendly! It was for my studio apartment on the 6th floor and my boxes were already packed by me, but I just needed the manpower to get the boxes and some furnitures carefully from point A (DTLA) to point B (Santa Clarita). Got a 2-person crew (Tim and Ramsey) who were excellent and professional movers! They showed up right on time (a few mins before the scheduled time), Tim communicated politely and clearly, and both men were really quick yet careful and efficient (started at 1:00pm and ended around 2:10pm). Tim was informative and provided all necessary details to me during signing of the paperwork regarding the fees while Ramsey got started on moving the boxes first and then Tim went straight to moving the boxes after as well - efficient! Overall, had a great experience and would call this establishment again for my next move. Tim and his team did an amazing job for our big move from West LA to San Diego this past weekend. I wanted to start early so we could beat the weekend traffic and they showed up right on time at 7a. Loading our boxes and furniture was fast and efficient and we were on the road to SD by 10:30a! Unloading at our new apartment was not an easy feat given we were on the 4th floor, no elevator, narrow stairways and 1 spiral staircase up to the bedroom. Despite this, they did an amazing job finishing just past 7p the same day, including the 2+ hr drive and lunch break. They are strong , professional, and extremely kind. When I requested service, they responded promptly and checked in with me and we're very flexible about fitting my needs and moving the date around based off of my closing date for the house. I was happy with hiring AB moving. They followed up with ETAs on when they would be arriving and arrived when they said they would. The movers were very careful and followed directions very well. They made sure all my electronics were cared for as well as my fragile items. The price was very fair. However, they did try to hit me with a few extras like bubble wrap and other packing if needed. When they finally got here to move us, they were so professional and so nice.Nothing got broken which is a wonderful thing having had movers that broke some of our things before. I reached out to AB moving company because I had a short notice move. The company had very few reviews, but people seemed very happy to have used their services. The four gentleman that came out were respectful and friendly. The foreman addressed my concerns as issues came up. Unfortunately, the truck they brought was not large enough. A move that should've taken one day, Ended up being an incomplete two day job. They used the same truck the following day. The foreman kept telling my husband that things didn't fit. When I reached out to this company, I was incredibly specific. I made sure to include photos of the heavy things, and again reached out to them to include the three car garage. Unfortunately, the job that I hired them for was not completed . I would say that AB moving company would be great for small jobs. They arrived when they said they would. They were all polite. They worked very hard for 5 hours doing everything from moving prepacked boxes, to taping, to breaking down and moving heavy furniture. Absolutely the very best moving experience I could have hoped for! I'm an older woman and had to move solo from the L.A. area to San Diego and I had a week to arrange it. Nick was my first contact and was very communicative and immediately responsive and patient w/all my many questions. This was the first time I have used a moving service....I was SUPER skeptical as I'm more of a do-it-yourself kinda gal....I thought I would have to supervise the move, but within 5 minutes of meeting with Timur and the other mover my doubts were put to ease. I debated on writing this review for some time, for a number of reasons. First, I had the same worker, Sergio, for both trips and he had a different partner for each. I observed Sergio as very respectful and professional, and on different occasions, observed him being chivalrous and courteous toward others that he encountered at the storage unit. I hired them for two jobs. One was to take my stuff from my house to a storage unit, and then 3 weeks later take my stuff from my storage unit to my new place. The first job, moving my stuff from my house to storage, was going smoothly until a handy man sent by my realtors showed up. He came alone to take three very large appliances and was struggling. I could see that Sergio was kind enough to help guide him on the best way to remove these items, but his partner was not as helpful. In fact, his partner who was also the foreman, got into a verbal altercation with him in my home. It made me so uncomfortable, and although they were both yelling and swearing at each other, they both went outside and I was so concerned they were going to get into a physical fight. As a single woman with three unknown men in her home, two of whom are in a fight, I did not feel particularly safe and since I was going to use them again in a few weeks, I was scared about complaining before the jobs were completed (side note: I looked for another service but on short notice there wasn't availability when I needed it. The second job (storage to new place) went smoothly in that there were no altercations of any kind and I had friends meet me at my place just so I felt safer since I wasn't sure who was going to be assigned. It was Sergio again, with someone else who was not the same individual from the first job. This person, however, was not friendly at all, but I think there was a possible language barrier (he didn't talk and didn't seem to respond to questions or prompts). After they had left and I was starting the process of getting my things put away I noticed a lot of broken items. I had three lamps- all three were broken. One of which was a family heirloom that was passed down from generations and I'm not going to lie, I cried. I was devastated. My grandmother gave that to me almost 20 years ago. Then I noticed some of my hangers were broken, my steel garbage can was bent up, and I watched the non-friendly worker drop things of mine a few times and did not apologize for it or even make an acknowledgment to me as I watched it happen. He did not seem to have any real regard for my things. So I was hesitant to write this review because Sergio was a great and respectful worker- and I didn't want this to affect him in any way, but after these two experiences from a verified company and never having had anything broken in moves before, I felt I needed to write this. read more

AB Moving Services assisted with my move from Burbank to the Culver City area! I spoke with Lisa when making my reservation over the phone and she was super awesome when answering my million questions. I made my reservation about 3 weeks before my move date. Side note- It was honestly the reviews on Yelp that sold me on using AB Moving Services. Ive always relied on Yelp reviews to determine if a service/company is worth using but never wrote a review myself. I felt that this experience was worth my first review. On the day of the move, the movers called me a few hours before my reservation window to introduce themselves and give me more details about their exact arrival time. They arrived at the exact time told to me over the phone. When the guys started packing and moving my furniture It was 91 degrees outside.....Just standing outside was enough to get you sweating. However, the movers kept trucking thru and didn't stop until everything was packed up in their truck. Once we arrived at my new housing location, the movers quickly went on to unpacking my items. They asked me where I wanted each item placed and unpacked. Even after moving and unpacking all my furniture they asked if I wanted to rearrange any pieces. I don't think I would've kept up that level of customer service after all the hours of lifting furniture in that heat. Overall, I had a great experience! No damages or lost items. :) For those on the fence about hiring professionals vs a DIY situation, I highly recommend hiring these guys! read more

I had received services from them in October. I have been so furious with this company. I called and even messaged with no response. But they stole 2 of my gaming systems! Both over $700 each!!! Mind you the guy that was running everything was extremely professional. But who he came with was asking inappropriate questions and just seemed to suspicious. Once I got everything separated something told me to check that box because he kept asking about my gaming systems. Soon as I opened it both of them were gone! I have tried to reach out and no one has said a word or tried to reimburse me. Run far from this company! After 1st posting my review I received calls and messages from the company basically asking me questions like it's my fault. Instead of questioning me they should have been questioning the worker that helped moved my things. Not once did they speak on that or address that concern. But I bet that worker no longer even works for them. So of course they would try to deflect from the situation. read more
