Stay away from this place!!!! There are insider thieves, possibly a renter also who has an access to the facility and their unit. They start punching holes on the walls adjoining their unit, then rip off the walls to gain access of the other units and steal. Several people already reported the same incident in their units, I requested the office to get the hole patched up on mine, they said they will put an order but they don't know when it's getting fixed... Doesn't seem like the management is doing anything to protect their customers, haven't heard from the manager, and the personal just keep saying to file for an insurance claim if anything is missing?! Fluctuating prices, low security, low quality location/ value, service issues. 1. The price you see is not the price you get, at least not for long. Rates given last only 1-3 months before they increase exponentially. This does not include the mandatory insurance scam. 2. Security concerns confirmed with other clients and Anaheim PD, rampant burglaries with minimal camera coverage/ security. I was present for two of them, and it was still hard to tell what they got into due to the cameras. This was brought up multiple times over months with no change, employees state "corporate won't budge." 3. This is a new facility which is already showing the signs of falling apart. Lots of moisture coming up from the concrete is causing high levels of humidity and rust to appear on the walls, and damaging items in storage. This was brought up multiple times over months with no change. 4. There is no known way to get ahold of corporate, only the local location in question. Yet for some reason, there is a huge disconnect in prices and account alterations available online versus in the store. They might as well be two different companies. 5. Regularly find dopers and transients walking around. This, combined with the other issues results in trash, feces, and drug paraphernalia being left around (I can't find those pictures at this time). 6. Staff retention is obviously an issue because it rarely is ever the same, except for one manager who is a polite guy. Whatever price you think you will be paying every month will go up 40%! I started at $160 per month and after 2 months they randomly raised the monthly payment to $220. They are betting that they can max you out on what you can afford because you won't want to move all of your stuff again after 2 months and if you can't pay it they get to keep your things! It does say prices are subject to change but by 40%?!?! It's a very unethical business practice. I gave 2 stars because the facility is new and the attendant who works there seems nice and helpful. It does get crowded at times with limited parking and carts. read more

Customer service at main lobby are good, no issues there. However, the Public Storage rates and policy upon closing an account is borderline theft. So I closed out my account on the last of March 2025 and the Service Rep at the Main desk said they may still charge you for next month. I thought that was odd as I was already cleared out in March? So time goes by and I get a call from a collection agency in India stating that I owe Public Storage $191 for the month of April. Keep in mind, I didn't get an email or call from Public Storage regarding this bill. Instead deferred directly to collections. Also, I may add, I was a this facility for a year and half and paid all my bills. I figured all of these businesses are greedy, lack morality, and decency. So with that said be cautious and do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with these company. read more

They will only honor their online price for 1 full month bc after that they raised the price on me without my consent or knowledge bc I never got an email or letter saying your monthly price went up after my 2 month! Crazy right?!? When I first moved in a 10x20 inside unit the 1st month was $51.54 on 5/11/24 which was the 1st month for $1 plus $29 one time fee, insurance, tax, etc... the next month was 6/2/24 which was my online price for 1 month at $201.33. Then the next month on 7/2/24 the Monthly rate cost me $326.50 which apparently the online price per month when I signed up the price was only honored for 2 months basically and they raised the price starting my 3rd month and they raised the price over $100/month! It gets worse tho so the next couple months from 8/2/-11/2/24 my monthly bill was $317/ month for the next 4 months which got a little cheaper bc I had renters insurance and I don't need their insurance anymore bc it's a rip off! I signed up with the online price over just over $200/month which was only valid for 1 full month bc after that they raised the price over $100/more a month. Here's where this place lures you in and only gives you a month of online pricing, then raises the price to over $100 more and raises the price the 3rd time starting my 8th month there to a ridiculous price of $414/month!!! The monthly rate has doubled since my 1st month and it's been raised 3X in just 8 months not even 1 year I've been here. Is that even legal bc I thought I signed a contract which had the online price which was only valid for 2 months. They lure you in and raise the monthly rate on you without ever sending me a letter or email. Here's the shady part of the price bc I decided to go on their website to see how much the price is to get the exact same size unit and inside the building if I got the same unit today it would only cost $1 1st month plus $29 admin fee one time, tax, then $187/monthly which I was suppose to have a locked in rate! But the same size unit I have cost $417/month over double what their asking which my price was locked in but it was only good for 2 months then they raised it on the 3rd month and raised it again on 8th month! If they don't honor the online rate that was supposed to be a locked rate is a complete scam and raise the rate after the 2nd month bc the 1st month is $1 and the 2nd month is prorated then the 3rd month it's raised over $100 then another price raise of $100 more so over $200 more a month since my "locked rate" but was never locked but changed right away! Oh and what's worse about the management or employees here gave my personal information to another customer/animal control which I thought my personal information is supposed to be confidential. If it wasn't for a mentally challenged under developed brain employee whoever that was should get retrained on giving away personal information to someone who's not a cop. But even so if it is even company policy not to give out a customers phone number and address. It's a good thing they used the address on my license bc I don't live there anymore and they sent animal control on an Easter egg hunt. read more

Public Storage will increase the prices without your knowledge. I started with a monthly payment of $128/month and it has increased to $241/month. Almost 100% increase. I have student loans and lost my job, and places like public storage are the worst. They never refund and charge extra for everything. To top it off, EVERYTHING in my unit was ruined. I had chairs ETC and they would have been better in my backyard. I was so sad to enter my unit and see all of my items completely destroyed. Do not get a unit with Public Storage. Contact-less setup! Very social-distance-friendly! Was super smooth! Did everything online prior to my arrival. Day of starting my contract, gate code and entrance code was sent via text and email. Apparently the exact same thing has happened not even a year ago and they've done nothing to remedy any of the vulnerabilities of these units!! No cameras. Only flimsy drywall between units! Be very careful before renting here. This facility is currently under construction and has a constant flow of seedy characters. My wife wasn't comfortable coming here alone. The office or trailer never has anyone in it and they have a high employee turnover rate. If you ask a question most likely you'll get an incorrect answer with a disclaimer of "I'm new here". Not to mention the dust/dirt your stuff will accumulate with the ongoing construction. Rates are guaranteed to change after you move in and you'll have to stop by once a week just to make sure no one has broken in to your unit. Unfortunately I was unable to cancel my unit by the 31st and today is the 3rd, I never used the unit, but had a lock on it, and removed it today. they will rent it out tomorrow or this week, but still find the need to charge me, out of work and looking for a place to live with a full month, for just 3 days. I rented the space online and in the middle of april, they charge me for april and I believe they will charge someone mid month in June for the unit. So I don't understand the loss, just feel the corporate greed instead of compassion and understanding, I wouldn't rent from them again or recommend them to anyone I know or don't know. read more

Two months after moving items in price went up 100 dollars even though construction was blocking the unit frequently and mess from construction would rain down from unit door when opening. We had our house tented before moving out so furniture was recently fumigated but now infested with spiders and gnats that are rampant around the place. i have not had access to my unit for the last 3 weeks. cars block the door and often can not even get in the lot. When you try and call its just too bad "they have to park vehicles there" I AM PAYING for bad service! They now expect me, an old arthritic woman to march around there trying to find the right person asking people to move cars! I was supposed to sell my freezer but missed there opportunity because I could not get it out! TripleA storage had a bigger unit same price available but could not get to my items and did not want to pay new place for an empty extra unit hoping to someday get my things out. We just recently switched over here thinking it would be a more convenient, closer location to our warehouse than where we were previously at....prices were great to get you in there and then they just slapped us with a huge increase. We were better off at our previous storage even though it was further away! Before I could justify moving closer, but now? Absolutely not! I understand that the cost of doing business is always going up, I get that, but increases like that, they are going to end up having to give their spots away to keep their customers. Not impressed. We were with StorMor down the street for years. We just recently made the switch to be a couple miles closer to our shop. We locked in a nice internet rate of $184.00. 6 months later we get a letter saying our bill just increased by $37/month which is $444/year more. Mind you that is a 20% increase. I walk into the office to see what they can do as that is absurd. Mind you it was 130pm and they had a sign on the door saying that would return soon yet they were sitting inside. Lady said she cant do anything and to call corporate. I just called corporate and they said we can vacate if we dont like it. They said we are sticking to our increase. I told them the yelp review would be coming over to let everyone know about their shady business practice. Store stuff somewhere else. Should have never moved from StorMor. read more

I've been renting here for some time and have been mildly happy. The location is clean and the staff is friendly most of the time when I've had questions about the rent and location. Every year the rent goes up a little bit and it's not that significant The last rate increase was by significant amount. I asked them what this was about, and they advised that they are now going to do a larger increases every year Definitely not a fan of this tactic.
