Both of my units are paid in full and now I'm out of extra money due to the help that I needed to make sure the unit was clean. Then the manage stated she did not remember the daily code and that she was not coming back to the property to let me in and it would just have to come back tomorrow when I'm not available tomorrow. I've waited time, money, and gas and no one has even attempted to assist me or be empathetic. Do not patronize this establishment!

The issues started with unexpected rate hikes, but the real nightmare began when I tried to move out. For over a month, the facility kept their trash cans locked, making it impossible for customers to dispose of small debris while cleaning out their units. When I placed my items near the locked bins--since there was literally no other way to dispose of them on-site--management called it "illegal dumping." They threatened me with a heavy fine unless I removed everything immediately. Because the items were too large for a standard residential bin, I had to: 1. Pay friends to help me load the garbage back into a vehicle. 2. Transport the trash back to my own house. 3. Hire a private junk removal company to haul it away. I have wasted an incredible amount of time and money dealing with their lack of basic amenities and aggressive "fining" tactics. If you want a facility that actually supports its tenants instead of looking for ways to charge them more, look elsewhere.

And the prices continue to climb out of all proportion to the service being rendered. And, to maximize profit, they have apparently stopped utilizing an exterminator. Though the nice lady in the office denies that, the fact is that when I emptied my space I had to throw away a lot of stuff because it was chewed up or covered in rat feces. And not just a little rat feces, a LOT of rat feces. Then, I closed my space out. That's when the nice lady in the office told me that there was no receipts issued, so I had to just trust them that my auto pay would end. All in all, doing business here was a mistake.

Clarence would call me to clear up questions or to attempt to get my vehicle in earlier than my scheduled time. The only problem I had here was tryin to call Clarence back, the U-Haul phone system always forwarded the call to a centralized U-Haul call center....so that was a little frustrating. BUT, Clarence kept me up to date as to the progress of my install and then he installed the unit in the anticipated time - 2 hours. They ordered wrong hitch and wanted me to wait a few more days. Montell the manager called and offered discount to come back but did not show as they did not have correct hitch the next day. Regional Manager Shannon McKinley was the worst. Rather than seek resolution she chose to argue and berate the customer. Go to sub trailer or draw tite instead. These guys are amateurs. I had to give 1 star to post. There are no stars at uhaul. And McKinley is a sad bitter woman.

Overly helpful especially with the outside crew when renting a tow dolly or trailer they hook you up and make sure everything is secured properly and always to make sure my turn signals and running lights are working. The 1 time I had an issue with my wiring harness for towing and he was able to make me an appointment in Indiana where I was headed to get the wiring reinstalled for $120 which is cheap I'm to fat and old to be climbing under vehicles and running new wires
