Established in 2009.
Philip R. Rice, President, is a Microsoft Certified Professional who has worked in an I.T. capacity for twenty years and counting. In November of 2009, PRR Computers was founded in hopes of establishing a new and respectable service standard in the technology industry of Southwest Florida.
Meet the Business Owner: Phil R.
Phil's passion for all things computer first began in elementary school, when he wrote a football simulator in the BASIC computer language on the school's Apple 2c. Computers have since been at the center of his interests, even while completing a B.A. in Philosophy in Nashville, TN. During his ten years in Music City, he completed his A+ Certification while working at a computer repair shop, and served as manager of two restaurants downtown.
In 2000, Phil came to work for the family construction business in Bonita Springs, building and managing a multi-site network that peaked at 70 users, and coding the company's external / internal websites, writing their database-driven proposal software and human resources software, and becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional.
When the family business was sold, Phil decided it was time to try to personally remedy the service deficiency plaguing Southwest Florida's telecom and computer industry: and thus PRR Computers was born.
