Today was the second time that I was in the store. Both for the same reason but different head set to be sinked. Your Sales Person did it the first time but I realized I only had the box and would have to go get it. He fixed it, I left! but this IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE and he is definitely creating a dangerous work place. I got my Macbook's battery replaced here 2 days before I moved out of state. Battery works fine but as soon as I got it back from the place, the trackpad didn't work properly, and the screws on the bottom of the Macbook aren't even screwed in all the way. I couldn't bring the laptop back because I obviously moved away. Recently the trackpad has begun bothering me so much. read more

I took my 7 year old MacBook to apple to get a new battery. It was 200 dollars. No big deal. The next day, after they sent it to be repaired, apple messaged me saying that there was water damage to the logic board and that I could get my MacBook back with the old battery, or pay $1,000 for a new logic board + $200 for the battery. This is crazy because new MacBooks with the same specs are only $100 more. The person I spoke to at coconut point's apple store (Mary Ann) was incredibly rude and condescending. She told me if I didn't want to pay $1200, that I should find a third party repair service. Well I'm glad I followed that apple genius' advice and found this company. They were incredibly fast and friendly. Putting a new battery in my MacBook took less than 4 hours (it was supposed to take 4 days at the apple store). Also, it was only $159 here. I couldn't recommend this place more. Stay away from the apple store at coconut point. read more

They are always super nice, and they always go out of their way to take of my family and I. Somehow, I always leave feeling better, even if I was worried I'd need an expensive repair. uBreakiFix: 23106 Fashion Dr #103, Estero, FL 33928 Brought in my Pixel 4a with a cracked screen. Was told that can be repaired after they inspected it. They did removed sim card, this is important fact as I will detail later. On my return they gave me phone and I inspected it, The LCD screen was not flush, and I could see the underlying LCD screen from the side. The took it back and waited in the car for about another 20-30 minutes. Went back in and I was still able to see that was not completely flush. Could still stick my fingernail under two corners. Waited in lobby for another 20 minutes and still not flush, could still feel I could get under edge with my fingernail. They then told me the screen is not supposed sit completely flush, which I know, but I also know I should not be able to stick my fingernail under a corner. Though I was not completely statesfied I had to leave as I am a nursing student and had a 13 hour clinical the next day and could not leave phone overnight. That following week was Thanksgiving and went home for the Holiday. I took to the franchise in Tampa that my family had used in past with success on same model phone. They inspected and said phone was slightly warped and had 2 small cracks in bottom. I had inspected my phone, and had someone look at it as well to see if the case was cracked as well, we both did not see any. I also do not recall my phone being warped. They had looked up my original ticket at the Ft Myers location and they made no mention of the cracks or the warp only that it qualified to have screen replaced. They also indicated that per Google's guidelines the screen sholdnt be repaired w/o also fixing case/frame. They could not try to fix as was a quality issue with the Ft Myers Location. On the Sunday after Thanksgiving I returned to the Ft Meyers Location to have it looked at. Explained same deatils, they looked up notes and said they will replace the back frame cover. Left for repair and before the 2 hour window, called my secondary contact number to tell me that frame was too large, obviously for a Pixel 4a5G. So they gave me back my phone in original frame, actually was more mis-aligned than when I brought in for the re-fix. I had to wait until they got in correct part. They contacted me late Tuesday it was in, and I took in on Thursday. On my return, It was fixed, still not 100 flush screen. They pointed out that the Liquid Damage Indicators (LDI) were activated. I poininted out the camera flash was missing the opaque cover for the LED lights. The tech yelled from the back, that the Frame came like that and there was nothing they could do. They also said they would not work on the phone anymore since it had the LDIs activiated. I did some research and saw many instances of the rear frame/battery cover for a Pixel 4a having the Flash LED cover attached. I also researched that there is an LDI where the SIM card tray is inserted and visible when removed. There may be others in the interior of the phone, but the one at the SIM tray would most definately be activiated before any internal ones would. During the initial repair inspection they removed the SIM card tray and should of noticed, they did not notice or record any cracks or warping. Pixel mid-frame flexible, as I researched and viewed break-down videos. So I have no doubt an rushed repair could possible have caused the cracks in the battary cover and warping in the mid-frame. As I had not noticed any warping or cracks and most definately did drop phone in water. Only water exposure would have been during light rain, as I do not use my phone in a downpour. Could I have missed minor warping, or minor cracks, sure but I checked for cracks on the screen when the screen cracked and noticed none. Many of the excuses seemed either too convenientfor them and to hand me phone the way they initially did, in my opinion was unprofessional and demonstrated poor quality control. If not for experience with the UBreakIFix in Tampa, I would be totally disenchated with the company. I can only see this particular franchise location to me did not meet my exectations. read more

I only had to wait a bit to collect my phone because there were 4 other VERY HAPPY customers picking up their phones too! I was having my iPhone 7 screen replaced. The Apple store is a few feet away, but the price for repair here was $100 v $150 at . I hope I don't need their help in the future, but if you do need a fix, don't hesitate. Brought my HP z820 workstation in for failure to power up. Told them I had believed it had a serious electrical issue because it blue a fuse in my house when it went down. They accepted and said they would diagnose the problem. I call back later and they say the only way they could "diagnose" it is by guessing it was the power supply and swapping it out. As a 30-year senior computer engineer, I know that is not proper diagnosis. If you want to test the power supply just check it out with a voltmeter. So I let them know I was very dubious of their methodology but gave the go ahead to try. The next time I call them a couple of days later, they said they "declined to do any work on my computer because of my hostile attitude on the phone". This is patently ridiculous. As a high-level operating system support engineer for Sun Microsystems for 20 years, I have had to deal with plenty of angry customers. We were never allowed to just blow them off like these self-important jerks blew me off. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE OR ANY UBREAKIFIX if it involves more than mass expensive swapping of components!!!!!!!!!! read more

Just took my iPhone in to see if the screen was cracked or if it was just the screen protector. Turns out, luckily, it was the protector. Egan replaced the protector in about 2 minutes. Total time in the store was about 3 minutes. Always have had a great experience at UBreak. Will always go there whenever I need something like my phone repaired. so I dropped my phone a couple weeks back and the corner of screen started to fade. I brought it in and paid $185 to get a new screen. They told me it would take 2.5 hours to fix everything, when in reality it took 23 minutes.The new screen kept telling me "phone is over heating to shut down phone to prevent permanent damage." it would become unresponsive to my touch, it would freeze, it would turn off with out me turning it off. so I took it in about a week later at the first chance I could. they replaced the screen on warranty and said the overheating is because the battery. I told them I didn't have the issue till the screen was changed out. They was very pushy trying to make me cash out for a new battery. I said no. This screen has the same issues, except for the overheating alerts. It still freezes, turns off, and becomes unresponsive. It sucks that I had to pay $185 to "fix " my phone when they keep giving me parts that ain't working right. I ain't going back to fix it again with them, I'll just find another place to fix it even though I have a warranty on it still. It's not worth my time to go every week to "fix" this same issue till the warranty wares off. read more
