Six months ago, we stop by the Consumer Cellular store at Gulf Coast Town Center to inquire about their plans and availability of iPhone 16. At the time of switching, Apple announced their 16 iPhones. We did not wait to upgrade to iPhone 16. We switched and used our old iPhones without any issue. With AARP membership and auto payment, we reduced our expense by nearly 50% per month! The store is huge, clean and organized with many sample phones, device accessories on display. We waited for six months and finally upgraded our devices to iPhone 16 with IOS 18.3 this week! Within one hour, we completed our upgrades flawlessly! The staff at the Gulf Coast Town Center location is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. David is a seasoned technical professional with excellent people skill! Ronald and a female staff (I did not recall her name) always work with a smile! Highly recommend this store if you are interested in reducing your mobile phone expense!

On my receipt it states the battery is under warranty until 1/04/2027 !!! I was lectured by this smartass kid that the battery needed to be above 10 Volts for them to warranty it.... It's a small, tidy location across from the Cheesecake Factory that doesn't have a lot of traffic. It's situated in a sketchy plaza, but it's a good store and I'm glad we went in. Like the days-of-old, the staff was super engaging and helpful (even though I was just browsing). This is a smaller store than what I remember. But, it is extremely helpful to touch and feel products, before buying. Also store staff, sometimes will have first-hand knowledge of your situation or products. It is so helpful that you can actually talk to a live person. If I lived nearby, I'd be a frequent visitor.

(Because I just replaced one.) He didn't say much. Came back 5mins later said he replaced both but did not test. When I said I only wanted one could he please him to swap out only the one that was dead. He said he threw away the batteries so he couldn't do that. Again I only wanted one battery. He refused Then took both fobs batteries out and said he refused service. Gave me both key fobs back empty without batteries. I wouldn't have been able to run my car it's a hybrid without the one FOB that was good. As he said he threw them away. I don't understand why he couldn't have just done one. Why he caused all that commotion. Now I had to call the police to go to the store. Imagine how awful. He finally put my old batteries back in.
