The lemon basil cosmo and a high fashion.
    Jennifer R.

Our first visit and we'll definitely be back! I'd give 5 stars to the design aesthetic. It's beautiful, with a ton of attention to detail, down to the bathroom and the speakeasy special events room hidden behind a bookcase. And little adorable forks with the dates and charcuterie! I'd give 3 stars for the seating options. This is lounge-style, with no at-table seating, just couches, chairs, and bar seating. If you're a couple, you may share space with others. This would be great for a group of 4 with drinks and nibbles. It was a bit awkward for two who wanted a date night and had food where you had to hold your plate in front of you to not make a mess. It would be nice to have some options for tables, maybe. We'd give 4 stars for the drinks. My cosmo spin was delicious, but my husband thought the "high fashion" was too heavy on the bitters. His second drink, "lost in Louisiana," he really liked. And holy hell, 5 stars for the dates! They're $8 for 3, but they're worth it and we ordered two batches. The charcuterie board was also good - a good price and a decent amount of meats and cheeses. 4 stars for the food overall. We both also had the short rib grilled cheese, which was nice, but nothing special. Service was also 4 stars. Some lulls in service, but overall, attentive and nice. We'll be back, but probably for cocktails and nibbles or flatbread, not a full dinner. Nice to have an option like this in Castle Rock!

Absolutely love their cocktail menu here and the servers have been lovely and helpful every time. Love bringing people here! Really love the dark and cozy vibe.

Very impressed with this spot. The fact that this place use to be named "the dirty" by us growing up before this place took over, left me mind blown. It's totally changed and so beautiful designed. I love the vibes here, and the drinks are very unique. Love love loved the raspberry purple rain drink with gin.

Came in an hour before close on Saturday night. One of the bartenders seemed inebriated and maybe that's why service was a lil off. We weren't acknowledged by the bartenders for a bit. The bar back was nice enough to get our first drink orders. My second drink order was actually given to the wrong person at first by said inebriated bartender even though I had ordered it from him minutes before. It was a lil weird. The bar wasn't even that busy. Was def an off night.

This is a hidden gem in Castle Rock! We decided to come here for drinks last night and were able to make a reservation through OpenTable. This place has such a cozy yet mysterious vibe- everything here is matte black with dim lighting - I loved it! Service is so nice - our server made the best suggestions for drinks and kept checking on us. We weren't here for food but decided to get the fancy grilled cheese - unexpectedly comforting and the perfect amount of spice and cheese! We love this place! I highly recommend coming here for cocktails! Btw the bartenders are skilled in fire breathing tricks! I'm a new fan of provision! Highly recommend this place!

Provision has become a weekly staple for me and I don't even live in Castle Rock! The staff is the friendliest staff you will encounter, the drinks are amazing, and the ambiance is super chill and romantic! You will not be disappointed in going here!

Fantastic service and fabulous (specialty) drink option. Menu is on the lighter side with a just a fee options but really, one should come here to enjoy drinks and great conversation (with friends and staff alike). The beautiful concoctions are skillfully mixed and perfectly balanced. Name your "poison" and you'll get a wonderful cocktail in return. So many lovely things to point out about Provision. Between the pleasant and fun staff to the peaceful atmosphere, being at Provision was a pleasure. Definitely recommend for a great date night or meetup with friends.

This is a very unique venue, especially for Castle Rock. We've visited twice in the past few weeks and both were exceptional. This is not some place you go for a full blown dinner, rather, this is where you go after that dinner. There are a few tables, but mostly sofas and club chairs with some tucked into nooks and others in the open. Our servers, Bree and Collin, were awesome! It is, for me anyway, a cross between a cocktail bar and a speak-easy. They offer some pretty awesome drinks and a light appetizer menu. The atmosphere is dark and if I had to describe it in one word....sultry. Try it! It's pretty cool!

Very cool, very neat cocktail bar. Reminiscent of the piano bars of old, dark, comfortable couches for seating. Very romantic! First date kind of atmosphere. The drinks are very inventive and yummy. Some good offerings, but you're not going to go there for the eats!

The best cocktail bar in castle rock! I love the drinks and the holiday menus. I love how cozy it is inside and you can dress up or dress more casual depending on your mood! It's the best spot!

Bree was our wonderful host. She treated us like GOLD! Coming back to Castle Rock after a 2 1/2 year absence and seeing all the new construction was mind blowing. Provision used to be a bar that was coined "The Dirty Bar", amazing transformation. Provision delivered in every category. Food, Service, Quality, and Ambience. Had such a great time I came back the very next night. My date was a disaster but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Shout out to Bree for being super Awesome!

First let's talk about their wings: their Cajun wings were BOMB! Cooked perfectly, seasoned heavily like I like it and the flavor was great! I think they may be the best wings I have found in Castle Rock. The pizza was one with prosciutto & pickled onions. So good! The crust is on point. Cooked beautifully. Just trust me on that. The server took our order but never put it in so while our friends ate and drank we got nothing. Once we were able to track down the server, she blamed the kitchen which left a bad taste in my mouth (I'd prefer she just admit she forgot to put in the order) and when my friend's pizza came out 12-15 mins later, it was the wrong pizza altogether. She got pepperoni. So they had to remake it. They still get 4 stars because the food was awesome. I would definitely go there for takeout and plan to soon!

The night started fun, but things quickly took a turn. From where we were sitting (not part of the group involved), I noticed a man becoming aggressive toward another nearby group--yelling at them and eventually shoving someone, which led to a fight. As someone simply watching it unfold, it was pretty clear who escalated the situation. What was most surprising, though, was how it was handled. The owner appeared to side with the individual who initiated the confrontation and ultimately removed the group instead. Later, we heard that the man involved was actually a friend of the owner. From an outside perspective, the group that was asked to leave seemed calm and was minding their business before things escalated. Watching everything unfold--and seeing how it was handled--left a really negative impression. Unfortunately, that experience made the environment feel uncomfortable and biased, which is disappointing because the night had started on such a positive note.

Drinks in hand we headed back to spend time with Forrest, who took us on a brief tour of the facility. He gave us the history of how Stranahan's started. It was interesting to learn that they bottle by hand. We came to our tasting set up. At each couple there were jars with items to smell that would be aromas or tastes we would experience, like rose, leather, tobacco, and cinnamon. Other times I'm just in the mood for a cocktail that reminds me why I don't waste my time at places that think whiskey and cola is "craft." This visit was all about the cocktails, and Seven Grand absolutely delivered. Josh, our bartender, was running the room like a conductor leading an orchestra of happy whiskey drinkers. He asked what we liked, made a couple of recommendations for Old Fashioneds based on our preferences, and absolutely nailed it. Every drink was balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to sip. The guy knows his whiskey, knows his cocktails, and somehow still manages to make everyone at the bar feel like they're his only customer. The whiskey selection is enough to make a bourbon nerd lose all sense of financial responsibility, but surprisingly, we escaped without needing to refinance the house. If Josh doesn't own Seven Grand, someone should probably look into fixing that. Downstairs they have : - A bagel spot (get there early for the best selection and don't be disappointed if they run out- that's what it means to have fresh baked daily!) - A great BBQ spot (this is coming from a KC native and BBQ critic!) - Apres coffee - a cute coffee shop with alternative milks and Italian sodas options. - A stuffed pita restaurant (I'm sorry I don't know the name!) - Gluttony and Graze, for salads and gourmet hot dogs and burgers - And don't sleep on the cute little kiosk to order Mexican food!
