Wants to vibe like a New York bar but it feels a little jank. The "hostess" was a little cold to all three parties that entered after us. Felt like they were trying to create a fake "you're just lucky that we allowed you in" Vegas/New York vibe". With that said cocktails were good, but be prepared that you'll pay 30 for a margarita. read more

The atmosphere of Provision was really nice. It is quiet and easy to talk amongst your group. However...the drinks, meh. $15 per drink and they were small and the mix of alcohol to mixers was just off. The Mule had more lime than ginger beer or vodka, The Mezzy was also heavy on lime and not much else. The waiter was attentive at first but after our drinks came, he disappeared. He finally checked back and we mentioned the mix being off on the mule and he was very defensive and just talked about the pour being the standard 2 oz; we didn't complain about the pour, just the mix being off. Very expensive but fun for a special occasion. Quite the loud atmosphere. Drinks were very nicely prepared. The charcuterie board was nice but there is no way that is enough to feed the amount of people they claim. There isn't even enough crostinis for everyone to have one piece. read more

Came here with my wife a couple weeks back to celebrate my birthday. Definitely a nice spot to get away. The drinks we had were all well made and staff was very friendly. New speak easy style establishment in Castle Rock. It's trendy, dark and moody. Lounge atmosphere. It's reservations only so while that fine in big cities I think Castle Rock would be better on first come first serve basis. The hostess acts like it's an inconvenience if you don't have a reso... but somehow they squeezed us in. We sat and watched a dozen people get turned away because they were fully booked for the rest of the evening. Makes me think back to the good ol boys club type of place. Drinks are $17 a piece. When you order they come one by one. First person could get their drink on 5 min the next at 10 the next at 15. Drinks don't arrive at the same time. So that's strange. Snacks minuscule. I think of you want to get you moneys worth sit at the bar so you can watch them make cocktails. read more

I had a very disappointing experience last week that turned into somehow a more disappointing and even offensive conversation with the manager today. My friends and I went to Provision last week with my 4 month old baby. It was obvious we had the baby when we came in, they had to find seating that would accommodate the stroller. We'd been there a few minutes and my baby started crying, as we began soothing her (and less than a minute after she had started crying), the manager came over and said, "We have a policy against crying babies." Not "we don't allow babies", but specifically "a policy against crying babies." She then snarkily followed it up with "that's not the vibe we're going for." While I get that, crying babies aren't anyone's vibe, including mine, then simply say at the door, "We don't allow babies." I called today to follow up before writing this review, hoping to help them understand how it felt like they were mom-shaming me. The manager explained that "other people were celebrating things like anniversaries and going on dates, and your baby was annoying them." I suggested that in the future they say at the door that babies aren't allowed or that if they do come in, they'll have to leave if they begin crying instead of waiting until we're seated and in the middle of trying to soothe my child. I also recommended not calling patrons' babies annoying and not undermining the experience I was also trying to have - which was celebrating - just because I have a baby. Overall, it left a really bad taste in my mouth and considering how family-friendly Castle Rock tends to be, I'm quite disappointed in how we were treated because of a very normal baby reaction that we were attempting to stop. read more

This place is amazing! It's a mix of LA Chic, NYC cosmopolitan, and Chicago night club. I've traveled to over 100 cities and had the best two mixed drinks at Provision that I've ever had. Great hand food made it a trifecta! Throw in the friendly people and you get the best secret in Castle Rock! Sure it's pricey, but the ambiance alone would be worth a cover charge. Went there tonight. They sat us at a couch. We waited 10 minutes. The asked us to move to a new area, we sat down, we waiting 5 minutes. We ordered are Drinks. We watched 2 people go sit in our original seats and 3 minutes later they had drinks. My wife went to the restroom came back, still no drinks. We left. Sat there 25 minutes and couldn't get a drink. What a joke. Let them know on the way out and the say told us, they would check on our drinks. Be ready to wait! read more

Updating my previous review! Visited Provision for a second time last night and was thrilled to learn they have expanded their food menu! Yummy sliders, delicious grilled cheese sandwich, and a full-size charcuterie tray! We ordered those along with the original smaller dishes such as the fantastic fig & goat cheese and were 100% satisfied! We stayed longer and ordered more drinks so clearly the switch to a larger menu with full size dishes works! Service was also extremely friendly and not the affected-snobbery we found annoying/ironic yet funny last time. Still a pricey night out but worth it for a splurge or an upscale night out! read more

We come here almost every Thursday. The drinks are amazing, servers are so knowledgeable and approachable, and the ambiance is incredible. We are so lucky to have this in Castle Rock! Every detail is accounted for, and it's clear someone obsessively cares about the experience. Check out the paper towels in the bathroom - luxxxxe. The only bit about customer experience that could be improved is the hostess asking for a reservation. When it's a weeknight and there's clearly space abound. That's a bit of a miss considering the location. read more

I was so disappointed by this place. They have a really cool vibe, but it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with service in castle rock. For almost 45 minutes nobody could be bothered to take an order. Only after asking multiple times did someone come over. Our drinks came all at different times, which is really weird for $17 a drink and for when you're trying to celebrate something. Can't really do a cheers with that. I ordered a second drink, which just never came. The food that we ordered was pretty awful, especially for what you're paying for. A person in my party told the manager about our experience who said "welp it's hard to find good people now". I get that it is but even a I'm sorry about that would have sufficed. Rest assured though the staff comes over every 20 seconds when it comes to paying your bill and tab, but can't be bothered otherwise. I wish this was a good experience as their vibe was great, but that's about all I can give them. Drinks, food, and service was awful. read more

Honestly had a terrible experience here. We showed up and were seated promptly, however, it took over 30 minutes for someone to take our order. We had to ask some random staff if they could send our server over which took sometime, while I saw our two servers chatting it up with other groups. The rest of my party enjoyed their drinks but mine was way to acidic to be enjoyable. The drinks came out separate which is kind of awkward when you all want to enjoy a drink together. The charcuterie was essentially a lunchable with stale bread and very little overall. The sliders were not enjoyable. Our server never came to check on us till another hour had passed, we placed another drink order which never came. But low and behold when we asked for the check our server was over every 30 seconds to see if we were done with the bill and tip. I genuinely liked the aesthetics of this place but the horrendous service coupled with subpar apps will not have me our anyone in my party returning. read more
