Word of advice: buy the light online, install it yourself because it's simple (watch a YouTube video if you have to), then call an electrician to wire it if needed ($80). Absolutely outstanding. Our heater stopped working and I called ProTouch after hours to schedule a service call. The main guy called me back in 10 minutes, got the basic info, and scheduled to Service Technician to call me the next day to schedule a service call. The Service Technician contacted later that evening and said he'd call 1st thing the next morning. The Service Technician called me 1st thing the next day, said he could be there within 30 minutes. He texted me 20 minutes later to say he was here. He troubleshooted the problem and fixed it in less than 20 minutes, and we're back in business. Our old pool pump went out on Saturday. We called that morning and spoke with Glenn. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate that day. We talked over the project on Sunday and when I was confident that I had the right team selling me the right system, I approved the quote. Tuesday morning Greg came out to install the new Pentair energy efficient pump and Pentair Easytouch Lite with ScreenLogic 2 to control the system. We have wanted this system for a while after accidentally heating the pool a couple of times with the old fashion control knobs. Greg was really nice and walked us through everything. He left the job site cleaner than when he arrived. That's a step that often gets skipped be tradesmen these days. I'm a DIYer and have been taking care of my pool for multiple years. Recently I screwed up and thought I ruin the pool. I reached out to Protouch (Kevin and Lance) and they were fantastic. Lance came onsite in a timely manner diagnosed and repaired the problem (my screw up). He helped save some cost by providing part numbers for the replacement parts and suggested that I shop around for best price instead of just purchasing through his channels. Kevin asked me if I wanted services to restore the water and even when I said I'd rather do it myself. Kevin provided step by step instructions on what to do to restore/balance the water. This wasn't trivial and Kevin made himself available to answer questions and provide encouragement during his working hours AND his non working hours (nights/weekends). I highly recommend Protouch. They are honest, straight forward professionals. They could have easily sold me services and still helped when I didn't ask for them. All the guidance they provided worked like they said it would. ProTouch, are the very best, they contacted me quickly and Lance from north San Diego county followed up promptly to the set apt. Set heads up text prior to his arrival and was on site five minutes early. He fixed my pool lights and went above and beyond to make sure the lights all worked and ensured that the electrical components where safe for my family. He then turned his expertise to fixing my Pentair heater, that three other pool repair companies gave up on and still charged service charges for their time. Lance rapidly trouble shot the many issues of the unit, broken wires, rodent issues and wrong/counter loaded pool commands for the one touch controller. He repaired all the hard wire issues, cleared all errors between the Pentair heater and the one touch controller that the previous so called pool technicians had entered incorrectly into the system. The pump now will save us money and the jacuzzi has a much better pressure/controlled heat, great job. I was dealing with pine needles stuck in my pool motor. My regular pool service person said they would be almost impossible to get out and therefore I should by a new motor, about $2500. I call Protouch just to shop the price of a new motor, and Kevin walked me through the process of removing the motor and cleaning out the debris. He was so patient and gave perfect detailed instructions. The motor is now functioning much better. When we do need a new motor or anything else, I will definitely go straight to Kevin. I would hire Glenn again for installation of pumps or heaters. Pro touch has not been so great when it comes to servicing the pool. I had signed up for pool service and was still having to add chemicals. When sent an email to ask if the service tech had been coming out I did not get an immediate reply. I came back from vacation to an email telling me they had to fire the technician and are no longer able to service the pool. My pool is in terrible condition now and I am needing to pay a new technician to kill the algae and bring my pool back to balance chemically. In addition while on vacation my filter lid had popped off and was draining my pool due to high pressure. Very disappointed. They did however reimburse me for the current month, but I am now out another $350 in charges to just bring the pool Back to clear. read more

We have worked with Lance with a variety of issues with our spa. He is very patient with my many questions and very thorough in his assessment of our spa equipment. He was able to not only replace the necessary parts that had ceased operations but "fix"the incorrect settings in control panel and PDA from its original install. We hired Protouch based on their Yelp reviews to install a variable speed pool pump and to replace the caulking around the pool and sidewalk. When they came they noticed we had too much hose on our vacuum and it got twisted very easy. They removed a few links and our hose is no longer tangled. We thought we needed the caulking because we were told every five years to replace, the owner inspected it and told us that it didn't need to be replaced, we are happy we found a company with integrity. The two young men who replaced our old pump were outstanding, They both were passionate about their work and they paid attention to details. Very nice young men! We needed to replace our electronic control panel which was over 17 years old. Lance was able to locate an exact replacement and installed it on schedule. During the reprograming, it was found that the filter pump wasn't turning on or off correctly.
