UPDATE: After two days of no shows, AK (the supervisor) gave me a call on Thursday evening at 8pm. He said he was unaware of what was happening and just found out. The dispatch guy who spoke to me that morning said he had escalated my call to the supervisor. Either way, I am thankful it finally got to him and contacted me. He was very nice and said someone would be out the next day for sure. Cue came Friday afternoon and did some repairs. He was kind as well, and seemed to know what he was doing. I am glad to have my garage door working properly again. It was super frustrating to get someone on the line and to show up, but once they did, the job was completed. Thank you I do NOT recommend- they don't appreciate the business. Take yours elsewhere. We originally contacted this company to repair our garage system in September 2023. It is now May 2024 and we have been having issues for weeks now. I reached out the company days ago and scheduled for someone to come Tuesday between 9-11am. Someone from the office called at 11:15 asking if the repairman had shown up. I told him no which then he replied with "oh, well there was an accident so he won't be coming". I thought this was pretty comical as the only other time we used them back in September, we were told there was an accident when the guy didn't show up that day either. I'm unsure if this is just their go to excuse, or if everyone there is a walking hazard. Anyway, they rescheduled for 4pm later that day, again no show and no call from anyone. I reached out multiple times and left voicemails that night. Wednesday comes and goes with myself reaching out multiple times and STILL NO response. This company has been horrible to deal with and clearly doesn't have time for any more on their plate. They also could have potentially sold and installed a defective product and won't come look at it now as it is within the warranty time. Pretty sketchy in my opinion. My apartment has a privacy lock which means there is a plate over the lock. I called Pros on call - Austin and Ahmed came out. Ahmed called to say he would arrive in 30 minutes and was there early. I thought he would have to drill to the plate to get in but Ahmed was able to get me in quickly and without drilling. I can send the new lock back to Amazon. Was quoted $90 over the phone, but was charged $182 on site (for opening a garage door which took five minutes). Felt taken advantage of and unfairly misled by the initial estimate. Edit: Apr 27, 2024: - The business's claim that the the initial estimate given to me was actually higher than what I was charged is contrary to my experience and records. After carefully reviewing the other reviews, it seems that my negative experience has been shared by others. - In response to my review, the business reached out via Yelp's messaging to ask for my phone number (i assumed it was for finding a record of the transaction, not for making repeated phone calls later). Their first concern was about the timeframe of when I left my review (and not the customer experience). - Their next concern was to emphasize that they had a call recording of when the price estimate was given. After twice suggesting that I will be happy to review this supposed recording, it was not provided, but instead I was asked for my email address. Since there was no obstruction to sharing a link to the recording in the chat, I saw no apparent need to move communication to another format. As the recording was not shared with the customer, I have no way of understanding what and how the business is using to assess the customer experience that was had. - If indeed customer satisfaction is important, here is a suggestion of what could make a difference for future customers: to implement a policy of providing an estimate in writing, to require technicians to reference this estimate upon arrival, and to provide an explanation for a price difference alongside the quote, all prior to start of service. Changing my original review after DBA called me and adjusted the charge. They offered to send someone else out to fix what the first locksmith botched. I declined that since I've ordered the right part on Amazon and will be able to replace it myself. If the locksmith had been prepared with the right replacement lock for a HOA cluster mailbox door there would have been no problem instead of fitting the cheaper lock. Also a time estimate of fifteen minutes was given. A locksmith arrived in ten minutes and opened the door in less than one minute, using a tool that he had for settling house doors. The cost was within one dollar of his estimate. He knew exactly what to do and everything promised was kept. Lived here since 1990 and this is the first time I could not get in. Pro's on call via Garage door repair or in my case replacement. I had the old OEM builder cheapy garage door opener in my new house and it was loud and you had to mash the garage door opener button. I ordered the same type has I had in my last house, the newer version of course and I called Pro's on call to come out and swap out the opener. Jonathan came out and inspected my system and went to work on my opener and he also told me installing the new metal rollers would also help my system, so I had those installed. We had a locksmith by the name of Isaac Garcia come to our school today with what looked to be his girlfriend. We had asked them to exchange our lock and install a new one, and they informed us they can not due to the screws being stripped. They did not remove the broken key inside and charged us $309.00 dollars. We have always relied on Pros on Call for our school and knew that different contractors will arrive at times however this man and woman that came today were unprofessional did not resolve anything and charged us large amount of money to tell us they could not do anything. The lowest score I can give is a 1 star however they do not even deserve that! We now have another locksmith on our campus who is completely baffled by their lack of knowledge and knew exactly what to do to fix the issue. RUINED OUR OAK DOOR. LOCKSMITH PROS uses Independent Contractors. The one I got was named Adam. He installed 2 thumb bolts on 2 bedroom doors. ( You only drill 1/2 way through the door so an intruder can't see that you have dead bolts.) Not only did he drill all the way through, but the hole he drilled for the lock was bigger than the lock. So, the lock does not cover the hole. Adam's workmanship was poor at best. Very unhappy. read more

Call anybody else. I locked my keys inside my car. They quoted me $19, it could be more based on the tools the technician may have to use. The technician is expected to arrive in 30 minutes. 55 minutes later a cab driver arrived and quoted me $100 before he even looked at the vehicle. He used an updated version of a coat hanger. He was unprofessional. He took a really long time. He scratched the paint. He tore up the weatherstripping. I would have been better off to use a rock. Should it come down to it, the main door glass is cheaper to replace than a small side window. I would choose the passenger door window. read more

Requested a service call approx 11:00 am from this firm. I was told a Technician would be out between 1:00 Pm and 3:00 Pm. Then is was between 2 and four - then it was between 2 and 5 pm. Requested a call from the technician three times. No call. Called about 3:50 pm and cancelled service request. Then about 4:40 pm a technician showed up and I told him that I had cancelled my service request. He showed me his phone text from Pros on Call that showed them notifying him at 4:27 pm to perform a service call at my house. I sent him away. The service dispatching for Pros on Call did not perform their task until I had cancelled my request. Will never use them again. My kid lost his fob, so they came out to reprogram a new one. After they reprogrammed the new one, the one we had no longer worked so we were still left with only one fob. My son called several times to have them come fix it. They refuse to call back. Shit service. Do not use them. No service after they get their money. In regard to the business response below, the technician saw we had the original fob and a replacement fob for the second one that was lost. We needed a second backup fob, not a replacement for the one we had in hand. I called Pros on Call for a quote on re-keying five doors. I was quoted $29 for a service call and $20 per lock. When he finished the job, I was handed a bill for $469.80..... service call plus $45 per lock. When I told him what I was quoted, he said sorry, this is what I charge. I posted a review on Google and got a call a few days later from Darrell asking if he gave me a partial refund, would I be willing to change my negative review. I got a message on voice mail asking me to call him. I have called the number he left three times leaving messages asking him to return my call. He hasn't. I called the company number several times and left messages. Still no return call and no refund. MY best advice is to stay a mile away from these people! This is a scam. Company sent a "locksmith" to make a new key for my S400 Mercedes 2010. This key not only doesnt work, it triggered the anti theft system resulting in electrical problems to the car. Despite calls about this the business doesnt respond. I plan on filing a criminal complaint with TDLR as well as the local police. Do not let this company touch your vehicle or youll regret it. $351 for a key that doesnt work and caused additional damages. read more

Hamza came by to unlock my home door this evening. He did nothing more than fiddle around with a few tools as I had done before he arrived. He ended up scratching my door handle in a few places and ultimately wasn't able to unlock the door. His last resort was to drill a hole through the lock. I am NOT willing to pay $95 to have someone drill a hole through my door which I could easily do myself. That's not considering that I'd need to repurchase the handle which was not cheap. I told him I would pay the service charge ($20) but not the total unlock fee if he couldn't complete the job. I swiped my card for this amount and he left. I am giving them a 2 rating only because the technician was prompt and did a good job. I received an estimate of 35.00 flat rate. I told them I had 2 locks and a deadbolt to be rekeyed. So when he arrived it was 35 per lock, a 29.00 service charge. So total was 113.66 with tax. They did not charge me the service charge. They said either pay or the tech would have to leave. That's about what everyone else was charging considering it's a Sunday and it's Veterans Day. I was told to answer my phone that the technician would call as he did 5 minutes later. He showed up within the quoted time frame and unlocked my car in a few minutes. We then began the paperwork and I was told it would be $15 for the technician and $85 for the lockout. $85!!!!!!???? I was quoted $45. The guy then tells me the price can change, it just depends. Depends on what? Every bit of information I gave you was accurate. I didn't have a different car then what I said, I'm not in a different location and it wasn't difficult to unlock so what does it depend on? The technician wouldn't say so I contacted the guy I originally called and told him it was unfair to quote me at $45 then charge me $85 WITHOUT telling me it could vary but it can start at $45. If I would've been told that, I would of said no thank you and took my money else where. The dispatch individual said I can call his manager to complain the next day. The technician then said to me that dispatch does this all the time and they don't tell people upfront that it starts at $45 but could be much more. He ended up charging me the $60 I was quoted for. Alex our locksmith was very polite and got the job done. It was just the handle lock and it took maybe 2 minutes. When I called, it was so loud in the background that the woman could barely hear me and asked me the same question several times. Also, when she gave the quote she said 29 for them to drive out and starting at $40 for the lock but it goes up depending on difficulty. A two minute unlocking cost $91. I told Alex I felt that was unfair and he lowered it to $71. Very unhappy with the gouge once the job was done although I don't know if he decides that or if it's the company.
