I was told they would be placed in an on-site POD on property. They were not, instead they were placed in a non-climate controlled storage, WITHOUT my permission. Just found all the paperwork.....Wow. Not that I'm shocked, it was given to me by the guy that worked there. He was fired for all of this. Our bathroom flooded back in September. PDR was the 1st to come out and start mitigation. Kareem was great to work with and asssured us everything would be fine and walked us through everything. On October 20, 2023, we entered into a rebuild contract with PDR that had a completion date not to exceed January 25, 2024. We should have known by how long it took to provide us with a quote to look elsewhere but since they were going to deal with our insurance and take care of everything for us we still hired them. For the next few months we had to walk over broken concrete from where they tore up our tile but didn't sweep because the guy doing the tile was always supposed to be out the next day. We also had vinyl flooring installed but not completed for multiple months. Throughout the winter I asked Candice when they would be putting insulation in because the bathroom was so cold and right next to our daughter's crib which was also next to the wall and door they left unfinished. After our tile was finally completely finished I noticed it was still 10+ degrees colder in our bathroom but I was told that was because of the tile and promised that insulation was installed. My husband finally had to get his own camera to look inside and confirm that there was no insulation ever installed and we were lied to. So PDR had our tile guy come back out and spray in insulation which we agreed was fine (after not having a bathroom for over 4 months at this point). Somewhere during this time they told us our second payment was due so I asked for an updated invoice. After not receiving it for about 2 weeks I finally received it and noticed that there was a lot of stuff still on there that we had removed. It took about a week to get that semi updated from Candice and Friday at 4:57pm she emailed over a payment form (payment was due Wednesday). I couldn't complete it in 3 business minutes (nor did I honestly know it was there because after weeks of waiting I stopped looking) so I decided to wait until Monday morning. Well they cancelled our 8am Monday contractors because it wasn't paid in 3 business minutes. Fast forward to January, because no one was sent out after the payment issue, where we had been done with tile and seen no one for weeks we were told the painter would be out on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th but no one showed up until the last week of January. We were told paint and trim would be about 3 days but it ended up being almost 3 weeks and was still never completed. We finally had to dispute the charges with our bank because nothing was getting done and after waiting another 2 weeks for an updated invoice, we still didn't have it and the 1 we did get still had charges that were supposed to be removed prior to the 2nd payment and additional charges from the tile guy. We asked for a break down of the charges but were never given them. We have to assume it was them charging us for the insulation machine rental and insulation. We gave them a week to finish the job that they told us would be 3 days but finally on Friday when Kaleb couldn't finish the trim work he asked if the painter could come on Saturday which we agreed to. Saturday the painter contacted us to say that he didn't have what he needed for the job and that Kaleb did, who (no surprise) never replied. Within 1 week of firing them we had the job semi completed. However, because we could never get Candice to correctly update our invoice, we were owed a few thousand dollars. At this point Debra stepped in and said that she would release the money back to us the day after we reversed our dispute and the funds cleared their bank. We were also told that their bank was sending us a form that we needed to fill out to reverse the dispute. We never did receive that form but after signing that contract, Debra then changed it where she would not give us our money back until the 45 day dispute period was over. We were given our money back at the end. It took 7 months to complete a bathroom remodel that didn't even include a new vanity, mirrors or fixtures. If you contact the owner, after getting in your face and making threats to you, he will say that he is taking over the project but you won't hear from him again. If another problem arises and you need to contact him again, he will over-talk and insult you to get off the phone. He will then say that he will call you back with an update that (again) will not happen. They also recently had a ton of negative reviews (7-8) removed from Google about holding people's property and money from them. They are also having family members leave positive reviews for them. Please be warned and informed about this company. read more

I will preface this post by saying that I very rarely bother to make my disappointments public, but my wife has been pulling her hair out over this company, and well, that means I'm REALLY irritated. Insurance paid for everything, so price was not an issue, but my god, the service coordination was abysmal. This company was highly recommended by Lindsay Plumbing, who should probably not be so free with their recommendations moving forward. By the way, Lindsay Plumbing does good work and will NOT rip you off. The remediators who came out were very neat and thorough. It was all downhill from there, however, and it took SEVERAL WEEKS of back and forth phone calls to get the sheetrock, carpet, and repainting done. There were lame excuses (let's just call them lies) at almost EVERY point. Once, I called to ask where the contractors were and I was told that they were in the driveway looking for the key, but they were clearly not at my house because I was standing in my front doorway looking at my empty driveway! While the contractors used by this company are okay (DBR Painting did good work), the field staff person coordinating everything (Candace) was a hot mess. She simply is in over her head, or just doesn't care to return phone calls from her office. You will wait at least 48 hours for a response IF YOU GET ONE AT ALL. If you don't listen to me and use this company, it's on you, but if she has anything to do with your work, just walk away. Perhaps they have more work than they can handle, although I'm not sure why. Do yourself a favor and call someone else. read more

We had our upstairs bathroom toilet overflow, unnoticed for over 5 hours. Needless to say, it was a disaster! I had never experienced anything like this before and had no idea how to proceed. I picked up the phone at 8pm on a Friday night. PDR answered and told me not to worry. They would have a remediation specialist call me immediately. Within minutes, I received a call from LeRoy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the process and told me what I needed to do. The first thing the next morning, LeRoy and his crew showed up and got to work. LeRoy even advised me on how to navigate the Home Owners insurance process. I put my HOI Claims Adjuster in touch with the PDR team, and they worked out the mitigation claim directly with my insurance company. This lead to no a hassle experience. LeRoy and his crew met every commitment and exceeded my expectations. If you ever experience an unfortunate incident like this, do not hesitate to contact PDR. We had a pipe burst in the ceiling over our laundry room. We used PDR Services again because of the excellent job they did when our bathroom tub had leaked throughout our bathroom & into my son's room. It was a big & messy job! We trusted PDR to do another job for us. Part of our ceiling had caved in and water had spread throughout our wood cabinets above the washer and dryer, and down in the walls. It had been leaking, but unfortunately, we didn't notice until part of our ceiling caved in. PDR dried & repaired the damage. Also sanded & revarnished our cabinets. Very happy! I felt comfortable the job would be done right. Very professional and fast response. I do recommend this company. read more

I used this company to dry and repair the damage caused by a wetter leak. They were able to find the extent of water damage with their impressive tools and their thorough inspection. Not only were they prompt, courteous, and efficient; They also kept me informed about what to expect and the timetables for each step of the process. This company mismanaged and misrepresented their contractor which resulted in a great deal of damage to our home, lost time and unbelievable frustration. The project involved updating our custom cabinetry from wood to a non-yellowing white conversion varnish. Kitchen cabinets were not prepped properly resulting in paint that did not adhere smoothly, orange peel finish and flat sheen. Cabinet doors and drawers were returned with chips, dings, crackled paint, peeling and painted caulk, overspray and missing hardware. In addition, the work was so sloppy that we found cabinet screws and shelf stops littering cabinets, counter tops and floors, paint & varnish white droplets on floor, counter tops and front porch, over sprayed walls, fine china, counter tops and appliances. Our own ladder and tools were used and I happened on the helper using my dishtowel as a rag that we never saw again. There is still a milky stain on the floor where he tried to wipe something up. PDR was contacted on multiple occasions to come and address concerns and continually assured me that this same contractor 'worked miracles' and needed more time to continue with his work to achieve an end result that we would be happy with. By the time we realized that something was seriously wrong, PDR's contractor was repeatedly telling me one thing and their rep something totally different and kept insisting he could fix the problems but finally threw up his hands and said that there was no use continuing and left the job. By then, PDR reps had described the finish on our cabinets as "horrific" "embarrassing" and apologized repeatedly. We were extremely upset but satisfied when they demonstrated integrity in offering to take the cabinets back to bare wood so we could start over with or without PDR. A new crew arrived and worked for 3 days to begin stripping and sanding. Then, BAM! I received an invoice, due NOW billing me for 50% (the sanding part) of the "no charge taking back to bare wood" agreement while they offered to pay for the stripping part AND the invoice total amount had DOUBLED from the first invoice. No one at PDR had ever discussed even the possibility of price increases before or during appointments leading up to or during the second crew's 3 days of work. Imagine my shock as I read and re-read this email trying to make sense of it. My kitchen had now been unavailable and looked like a crime scene just a few days shy of 2 months due to PDR's negligence! Once again, the drive to recover losses and manage profit margins won out over accepting responsibility for negligence. I cannot recommend a company that does business this way. read more

The company tore up the effected carpet and tore OUT the padding, removed all baseboards and effected insulation and dried it. They left after two days with no word on who would do the restoration. They did NOT do any restoring. They sent me an invoice for almost $2200 - for tearing out padding and baseboards and about six square feet of insulation! One and one-third of my bedrooms, two closets, one large hallway plus all of the baseboards in those rooms, AND the entryway into my living room are destroyed, unfit for human occupancy. I'm still waiting to hear anything about the actual RESTORATION of my home. read more

They pulled out the newly installed tiles when I pointed that they were not even. I really appreciated having Justin as the Project Manager. He recognized many things that I didn't even notice. PDRS was recommended to me by a family-owned plumbing business that did work on my house. I called PDRS to handle my mold remediation issues. The extent of the damage was unknown. All of the staff members that I came across at PDRS were honest about what they knew and did not know. I am grateful for the non-sales approach in helping me out! I didn't feel like I was being convinced to buy any extra services that I didn't need. PDRS handled my mold issue carefully and left my house in tip top condition- including replacing all furnished items back in the room after they finished. The person who came in for a subsequent rebuild job after them was impressed by the condition in which they left things. I recommend this company without hesitation! read more

We have called Property Damage Restoration to our home twice and both times were greeted with excellent customer service as well as timely and professional workmanship. Both instances were to repair water damage. The first instance occurred in our laundry room due to a leak from our water heater. The water actually spread inside the wall between our garage and laundry room. The second instance was water damage in our new home due to an air conditioning leak that came through the ceiling in our hallway. Both times I dealt with different crews and both were extremely diligent in locating and removing all water damage. They placed fans and dehumidifiers in order to dry the affected areas completely. They also made sure to place plastic barriers where necessary to keep all exposed areas cut off from the rest of our home.They were very informative throughout the process and came back to check on the drying process before finally coming out remove the equipment. Once the drying process was complete they were able to refer reliable contractors to help us with the cosmetic issues that arose. I would highly recommend Property Damage Restoration and if we have any other water damage related issues in the future this is the company we will use. read more
