They ran an industrial dehumidifier and cut out all of the wet components. And they did it shockingly cleanly, covering everything and making sure all debris was cleaned up after. That was the first service. Because I was impressed I also had them do the rebuild. Literally a third of my ceiling needed to be replaced. You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too. The final tally was in line with expectations and perfectly reasonable given the quality of work completed.

I have used this service twice due to a hose going bad on the water heater. Water was everywhere…read moreand destroyed my spare room upstairs, and the closet in the master bedroom downstairs. My husband called Resto Medic and spoke with Patrick, who came to our house the same day to assess the damage. The very next morning a team was at our house. The first thing they did was tear away the wet drywall and floors. The next step was the set up of dehumidifiers and fans to dry everything out. If you have never experienced this, let me warn you that the dehumidifiers are very loud. When it was time to go to sleep, we had to turn the one off in our closet because there was no way I was going to be able to sleep with it running. I will say that it is very important to leave them running as much as possible to make sure the walls and floors are completely dry to prevent mold from forming. The dehumidifiers and fans ran for four days straight, and when Resto Medic checked the walls, everything was completely dry. I have nothing but praises to sing for this company. This incident happened at the worst possible time. The pipe burst on a Tuesday afternoon, and Resto Medic set up shop Wednesday morning. They checked the walls and picked up all of the equipment Sunday morning. On Monday morning, my husband and I were leaving for a cruise, so a sense of urgency to take care of this problem was needed. Patrick and his team understood the importance of drying everything out, and having their equipment picked up before our trip. He and his team were honest, professional and efficient. My husband and I cannot express our gratitude enough. The second incident was very minor. Same issue, but minor. This time it took two days to make sure everything was dry. The room and closet was already opened up from the first incident, so drying it out was faster. Once again, stellar service with the same sense of urgency to make sure everything was dried out as quickly as possible. If we ever need their services again (hopefully not), we will definitely be calling them back.

I was assured by many people that my homeowner insurance would pay for the repair. Fast forward a little bit. I used the Yelp app to check who can come help me. It gave me 2 additional contractors since primary one failed to respond. Within minutes, I started chatting with Jay F from A+fforable on Yelp app. It took a little effort but really efficient to get it done. I guess it's called "Virtual Consultation" during Covid-19 pandemic. Within 2 hours, I got a quote and secured an appointment. I immediately contacted my insurance agent to start a claim. On my first day meeting Austin for damage assessment, he brought Wilmer to start water mitigation. Austin is the supervisor, as you already know from other reviews. He quickly setup dehumidifier, fan and heavy-duty HEPA air purifier. In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I want to share my experience based on my initial connection before this review gets too long. Next thing is to rebuild my room. Having to wait on my insurance claim approval.
