Updating my original review. I've now eaten here a few times since and service and menu has improved.

This place bust reopened after a remodel and menu overhaul. Hadn't been before, but it was nice when I went (March 2020). Food- I ordered the power bowl with shrimp vs chicken. Wasn't happy that it was an $8 up charge! That's way too much. But the shrimp was very large and delicious. The greens were fresh, but hard to get through with the thick farro and only the tzatziki sauce as the dressing. I would not order this again. Friend got a burger and said it was good. Sweet potato tots were small and delicious. Calamari was good, and unique because it was an assortment of fried veggies with the calamari. Drinks were nice, they have a full menu with pictures and ingredients. My complaint would be that not all the drinks list the brand of alcohol, and the waitress didn't know either. Seems like that would be a good improvement, or at least have the option to swap the wells liquor with a premium and to show the price to do so. Decor was cute and rustic, very dark though. Cute for a date night spot, but when it's dark out I could imagine some adults would have a hard time seeing the menu without a reading light. There are a lot of windows so this shouldn't be an issue during the daytime. Sorry for the dark pics, I tried to get as much light as possible. Waitress was nice and personable. She was still learning the menu, ingredients and rules for swapping ingredients so we cut her some slack (since it's all pretty new). Price-over $10 for entrees. I attached the whole menu. I'll be back for lunch today with clients so I'll probably add more to the review then. read more

We ordered Proof for home delivery one night on my visit to the tri-cities. The chicken wings, wedge salad and cheese curds were all delicious and crisp upon arrival. The wedge salad was so tasty and really unique with the addition of corn and pepitas. I haven't seen that combination before on a wedge salad. read more

The Honey Serrano Chicken Sandwich is made will love! I couldn't leave one bite left because it was exquisitely satisfying. The sweet and spicy was well balanced with the perfect hint of each. The mango lemonade was also tasteful, perfect and not over sweetened. The staff was polite and really friendly! Bathrooms were really clean. Great cute place, energy and vibe. Serious lack of cleanliness, food is hit or miss, but their nasty restrooms and staff that don't give a sh!t was final straw. If your looking to catch E. Coli or a parasite, they're well prepared. I've tried over 4 times to give this spot a great review but every visit has resulted in disappointment. Several times it has been their restrooms with feces all over the toilet and walls, twice I watched an employee use the restroom, not wash their hands, and immediately return to making drinks and food. Recently we were seated at a booth that was likely last cleaned on their opening day. Olives smashed on seat, dirty napkins and utensils shoved down into the crevices, the table so sticky I took towels to the restroom to wet them and clean the booth myself. Numerous people were coming in and being ignored for 20+ minutes before either leaving or being sat at a dirty booth/table and then leaving due to filth. Others leaving because the wait staff never returned after 30+ minutes of waiting. We wanted to love them given they are local and, at one point, offered a fun, clean, dining experience. We have given up hope and will not return. When I posted my concerns to their site I was immediately contacted and told everything would be taken care of same day and was offered a gift card. The gift card never arrived and the next afternoon the same restroom looked like a Hazmat scene. read more

Great burgers. Cool building with speakeasy hidden behind the wall. So cool Ice cold beers and great cocktails. The place is very nicely decorated and good quality construction. I think the boards and nails were laid out in a computer programmed facility because each nail and screw are all perfection in a line. Exactly straight. No back and forth or random screw out of alignment. This makes m review longer. The temperature of the water they serve is perfect. I would prefer it two degrees colder but that's just me and my sensitive teeth. Pew pew pew. Proof !! read more

One of my favorite restaurants when visiting the TriCities. It can get busy so a reservation is recommended. The atmosphere is casual and a good place for friends to enjoy food while catching up. It also can be a good date night place. The noise level can go up, though, so not for intimate dates. I especially like their Spanish clams, Shrimp Diablo, Ahi tuna poke bowl and the Pork belly and shrimp tacos. Depends on your appetite, a serving can be shared by two people. The restaurant itself is cozy. The wait staff are nice and accommodating. read more

We got the diablo shrimp appetizer, the classic cheeseburger, and the calamari. The calamari was pretty salty and the cheeseburger was a bit bland. But damn that shrimp appetizer was fantastic. The sauce had a kick to it that was great to dip the fries (from the cheeseburger) into. The bread that it came with was awesome; one was insufficient though and seemed random. Maybe give two or more? The service was also great. The crowd is a bit too varied for it to be a good option for a night out; I had a giant family to my right and a couple in front of me. Either way, there are good beers on tap and the patio is chill. And shockingly, the cocktails are great too. I finished with an old fashioned and it was quite literally perfect. My husband and I dined at Proof tonight for the first time, we had amazing service, very attentive! The bartender was phenomenal. I ordered an old-fashioned and I have to say it was one of the best ones I've had. I had two just to make sure the first one wasn't a fluke ;) We had a patty melt and the blue cheese burger (I forget the actual menu name because those old fashioneds were THAT GOOD!) both were perfectly cooked. No soggy buns! We will absolutely be back again and again! read more

It's always a treat to visit proof. They have great appetizers, desserts, and main dishes. I usually get the proof burger with sweet potato tots - so yummy! They do craft cocktails here, and their menu of drinks can be hit or miss. I've had a many rosemary tom collins here, but their margarita is a hard pass. I think this might be a preference thing for me though. ‍ service is excellent, and the ambiance (esp in their spacious Pasco location, but up the juice box bar!) is dark and cozy. read more

We are from out of town and went here based on reviews. It was very very good as far as the food and the service was excellent. We sat in the bar and the bartender was attentive. The restaurant has a nice vibe. It is a little industrial but is small enough to not be loud. Too hot for us for the outdoor area but people were out there in 90+ degree heat. Cocktails were delicious, we had four (don't judge, driving cross country and some knucklehead siphoned our gas the night before and broke off their hose nozzle in our gas tank, stranding us in Kennewick!). The rum punch was awesome! The rosemary lavender martini was delicious and also the La Paleta (think bomb pop). The chicken sandwich is really, really good and comes sweet potato tater tots (yummy). Seriously delicious. Their hamburger was good. The cocktails were really good. I am sure the rest of the food is good. So if your staying in Kennewick over night, I recommend this place. read more

Proof Being in the Tri-Cities, there's probly not that much of good food here.. I mean this is probly the best thing I have eaten out of all these times visiting here.. their Smoked Pulled Pork Nachos were super tasty n addictive.. the dishwasher didn't have 2 do anything as I cleaned up the plate but seriously, there r not many memorable places here.. I mean u got Anthony's Homeport (seafood) which is decent n I guess like they say we r so spoiled w/ the good food we have in Seattle so this place is pretty d*mn good they have whiskey too read more

I've been in here a couple of times over the years and it's always been mediocre. They used to have some booths out in the hallway so you could sit out of the chaos of the restaurant but now that's used for a pretty ugly looking liquor cage. It's the first thing you see when you walk in, so it's surprising they aren't using this space better. There is also a small waiting area of about 6 chairs around a small table. Most recently, we stopped in here for a drink and an appetizer, hoping they would have some "small plate" type options. Unfortunately, that really isn't the case - it's mostly greasy bar food on the starters menu. We each had a cocktail (huckleberry mule - YUM and well worth $12) and a large order of tots to share, but decided to leave after that as nothing on the menu looked like it would satisfy our semi-healthy cravings. Service was alright. When we arrived in a party of 3 and the hostess asked for a few minutes to clean a table for us, which was totally fine. Our waitress was pleasant but clearly stretched a little thin and getting drinks from the bar took quite some time. They were also out of a few things that made a few of their signature cocktails unmakeable. I hate to sound so crotchety, but my absolute biggest complaint with this spot is how loud it is in the restaurant. It's probably okay in the summer if they can open the doors, but without that, it just echos and then they have loud music playing on top of that. We felt we had to shout even across a small table. Overall, this was not the vibe for me. If you like an impossibly noisy restaurant with slightly dressed up bar food, you can probably find it cheaper somewhere else. read more

Such a thrill climbing up to the third floor in Kennewick to eat at 8pm on a Wednesday night - a little late-night urban cool factor in Eastern Washington looking out over the local lights! We were three for dinner, and greeted by friendly server who took great care of us. It was a quick meal, so no apps and straight into the mains. But first the cocktail list, which I have to say is a little weird with ten drinks on a huge laminated piece of paper! But my Rosemary Lavender Martini was awesome - a little sweeter than I expected, but in a really good way with nice clear flavors, so good I had a second! My companions both ordered the Tequila-based La Paleta, with both more than happy to order a second also. Food great - we had the Patty Melt, the Proof Burger, and I had the Killer Mac and Cheese, which was indeed Killer, complex and rich, and even knowing it was a huge plate, I devoured the whole thing, but with a small quibble that the marinated chicken breast on top was over-the-top salt crusted. Tasty but surprising. Ambience fabulous - you know you are in Tri-Cities when it is the gastro-pub, not a fancy restaurant or lounge that has the killer view! And service top notch and sincere. Came in two days ago for a late lunch and our server was amazing! So attentive and super friendly! Our food was absolutely amazing. What isn't pictured is the taco truck tots... those are KILLER. So first of all. Crafted Yakima is my absolute favorite restaurant in the state of Washington and I'm biased because my friends own it. BUT PROOF here in Kennewick has taken a hard 2nd. 2 drinks *specialty made by Jeremy* and their poutine has me feeling like I might I feel like I will be camping at the door like tomorrow is Black Friday when they open. Do yourself a favor, stop in, have a drink, eat some food. These people know what they are doing! Don't know how to end your date? It was are first time visiting proof restaurant,I was disappointed. Let me tell you why Anything you touch is very sticky. The table unbelievably sticky., The bathroom had no soap. The interior is all painted block which you can see all the Fingerprints and how dirty everything is. I ordered a jalapeno burger and added lettuce and onions, did not get it. We also had fish and chips. The fish was Overcooked, Pretty disappointed in the experience would definitely not come back. read more

We stopped in here after spotting the sign from the street whilst driving through town, the location is nice and accessible, on the top floor of a building just off one of the main roads through town. Upon arrival, around 12:30 or so, it wasn't too busy for a Saturday lunch time. We were seated right away and the waiter promptly took our food and drink orders. We did notice that the food and drink was a little slow to come out; not terribly uncommon for the size and type of cuisine, but of all the tables receiving service, it seemed like ours wasn't checked on with the same frequency as others. Food was good, nicely portioned for the price and was otherwise fine. We noticed though that closer to the end of our meal, our waiter was not checking on us and took almost 20 minutes for us to pay and be on our way. I ended up having to walk up to the bar where another employee was standing and asked to pay our bill because our server, who had said he'd be right back with the check, stopped to take an order for a group of 10 people occupying 2 different tables before even dropping off our bill. If not for that, which seems like a possibly uncommon experience (I like to give people the benefit), we otherwise enjoyed ourselves. read more

This place was wonderful! At first I was a little put off by it because I kept calling to make a reservation and it went to voicemail each time so when we showed up we ended up waiting for longer than they said we would. BUT the entire time they were so nice to us all about the wait. When we sat down I dropped my phone behind the booth and, although it was a whole hassle, more than two employees were helping us retrieve it. Not only were the employees working overtime to help us out but the food was AMAZING! The kind of food you pass around the table so everyone can try yours and you end up smiling and shoveling it down in five minutes. It leaves your tummy full, but not too full because portion sizes were on point, and your heart was happy. It has a great vibe and the workers have great hearts, thank you for making my moms birthday end with a bang! read more

Went here last night. Didn't have a reservation but they let us order drinks and have them in the waiting area. Only 15 minute wait. I had the Blueprint burger with garlic parmesan fries. The burger was amazing! It was perfectly cooked (medium) with quality ingredients, a delicious brioche bun. The thick bacon was cooked right, not chewy. The fries were a little cool but very tasty. The Moscow mules were so good. Recommend the Huckleberry one (after trying both). So good I drove to the liquor store after dinner and bought a bottle of 44 North to make my own at home. read more

I check everyone out for reviews left, menu, pictures. You know, you do too. Not really impressed here. Service was way off. I would post the picture of every server standing at the register like it was an ATM but I'm not shaming people. Only picture I took. The bartender was super alert and had to tell the servers how to manager the tables. Either they were all new or it was a way off night. I think every time we locked eyes I saw my server, other than that she was hard to find. I had a burger and a side Cesar salad. The salad had some strange mayo based dressing. I took an emulsions class. This is not Cesar dressing. I would have thought hand formed patty but nope. And what is up with slathering the outside of the burger in butter? It was like trying to hold a slippery fish. Get it without, you arteries will thank you. Pretty sure I'm not coming back. Limited menu and service is an issue. read more
