We have discontinued the hazelnut foam, but to answer your question, no. Our foams are all made with dairy.

Is this place good to work or study?

Definitely! Ambiance is great and pretty cozy. It doesn't get too busy inside so there is usually ample seating.

Seats were very comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered an Iced Coffee ($3.27). And it was simple in taste and in appearance but refreshing nonetheless. Service was spot on. Staff was affable and competent. Prices are fair. Offers free wifi and street parking. What captivating for me was their interior design because it kinda reflected that of your own living room with flat screen tv, bookshelves, bar stool, love chair, sofa and a coffee table. Overall, I had a nice experience and somewhat enjoyed my iced coffee; I really like their chill living room vibe. I still recommend this coffee shop.

My husband had a great conversation with one of the guys behind the counter about the shop's minimalist decor, and we learned Two Kids has been thriving for 10 years. Prolece tea has got to be one of my favorite places to go for tea. Their tea is as honest as tea gets. You can taste all the different notes each tea has. It's brewed fresh every day, LITERALLY. Their Tiramisu house milk tea is amazing!!! Must try it! Can I also point out how good their boba is?! It's the perfect amount of chewy-ness and sweet-ness. Each drink is hand-crafted to how you want it to taste, and that's why I love them. They also have many varieties of toppings, for example, their "cheese cream" is to die for!! It pairs so perfectly with a pure tea. BTW, I love their decoration! It a good place to take photos. But before I can even keep going with how good their drinks are, their employees and owners are the best. They put so much effort and love into carrying out a customer's request. I discovered Prolece on a whim while strolling around Old Town. I was craving something cold and refreshing and I usually refer to Yelp reviews to help with my decisions lol. First impression, the place is super cute, clean, yet small *but not too small* you could have a party of 5 and seating would work out just fine because they also have cute benches up against the wall! every employee who works here are SUPER friendly. they always greet you as you walk in. the place is owned by a couple, who are also really friendly too! ok, now for the actual drinks, I have tried the matcha fans, milk teas, and the tiramisu drinks. they're ALL so stinken good and the BOBA is PERFECT. its soft, supple, and not too sweet. the cheese foam is here is a MUST TRY I havent tried everything but I cant wait to try it all! read more

I tried Prolece tea for the first time and I'm a fan！I love the fact that you can still taste the tea in their drinks! This place is also great because you can really find some healthy toppings like Aloe and Chia seeds. I was also surprised by the quality of their tea. Super fresh! I tried the Grapefruit Blaze and Passion Breeze with Aloe and Chia seeds. I loved them! You can really taste the Jasmine green tea and it's not overpowered by fruit. I got my drink both at 100% sweetness and was really good. I think I'll try 50% for grapefruit blaze and see how different it is. read more

Service is fast (order from kiosk - don't see anyone in person) but don't let the jars of tea leaves fool you. My go-to at any boba place is thai tea, and it tasted like it was made with a powder+milk base rather than a strong brewed tea + milk base. Overall the taste was fine, but the authentic flavor was not there. I just wouldn't recommend their thai tea. They may make other good teas read more

Ordered my drinks through Postmates tonight and was very disappointed. I got the tiramisu house milk tea and the cheese earl grey black tea. Both of them tasted very watered down and doesn't have any taste to them, like they forgot to add sugar or something? The boba and cheese foam was good but I can't fully enjoy the drinks since there's literally no sweetness to either of them. read more

Prices were elevated - $8 for the waffle and $2.50 for the ice cream (complete with whipped cream and chocolate syrup), but the unique product was absolutely delicious. There were quite a few boba shops nearby, but honestly the business name alone caught my attention and made me choose this one. The shop is conveniently located directly across from Pasadena City College, which makes it a great spot for students looking to grab drinks or food between classes. The downside is parking. There's very limited parking in the back and a lot of nearby residential streets have "no parking" signs, so finding a spot can be a little annoying. The shop itself is a decent size and definitely seems popular with students hanging out, studying, or working on assignments. Personally though, the atmosphere didn't feel especially warm or cozy to me compared to some other boba shops I've visited. The layout also felt a bit narrow, which was difficult navigating with my son's stroller. That said, what the shop lacked in atmosphere for me, it definitely made up for with the drinks and food. I ordered a 16 oz jasmine milk tea and even though I had to pay extra for boba (which brought the total to almost $5.50), the drink itself was honestly pretty good. I was also hungry, so I tried the pork buns, which ended up being tasty and surprisingly filling. You get four for around $13. While I do think you could probably get a larger meal elsewhere for the same price, the quality itself was still good. One thing I appreciated is that they have a larger food menu than most boba shops. Besides milk teas and fruit teas, they also offer popcorn chicken, appetizers, soups, rice dishes, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, and even ice cream drinks. Customer service was excellent. The staff were polite, efficient, and kind throughout the visit. Overall, I think this is a solid spot for Pasadena City College students looking for a place to study, hang out with friends, or grab a quick meal and boba. I do think the shop could benefit from adding a little more personality and warmth to the space... maybe board games, student artwork, or more fun décor would help make it feel more inviting and memorable???

We'll try to order some lattes but they were saying they only have black coffee. This was very strange... Maybe they were having some sort of event... They did have a sign out saying sunset Sounds Saturday starting 5:30 pm, but shouldn't they certainly be serving their regular coffee offerings?! I think they have to rethink their marketing if they want to succeed.
