Friday night with my daughter turned into an impromptu quest for liquid joy and we struck boba gold at Prolece Tea. First impressions? Spotless as a surgeon's scalpel and staff friendlier than your grandma after two glasses of rosè. Now, instead of talking to a human (ew, feelings), we ordered via a sleek self-serve kiosk, like a tech-savvy tea ninja. We dove into a Strawberry Matcha Fusion (basically a love story between a berry and a samurai) and a Strawberry Dragonfruit Tea, which sounds like something a fruit wizard concocted. Both were so good they made our taste buds throw a tiny party!! Final verdict? We slurped our way to satisfaction and walked out feeling like we just aced hydration. Great place, hghly recommend if you're in the area and your soul needs fruity refreshment with a side of vibe!!

Was in this area last month and after dinner we were looking to settle somewhere for drinks. This place is located in the busy restaurant area of old pasadena but there's a parking structure around the corner to park. Place is small and you'll have to order from the kiosks - they have 2. I've never seen so many choices for drinks. Once you pic one there's choices for ice, milk etc you get what I'm saying Either way the 4 of us ended up with drinks that we liked. You can also choose how sweet you want it to be so mine was just right. Takes a bit of time for it to be ready but we were seated so we had time to catch up.

I love the drinks and food options at prolece tea. I especially love that they showcase the loose leaf teas they use in a display window. The interior is small so there isn't too much seating, but it's not usually packed. This place is usually an order your drinks and go. There are machines to order drinks so you don't actually interact with anyone until they call your name for your order. The staff is available to answer any questions, but not easy to get their attention since they are behind the counter working.

I've been here a few times now. I do appreciate that they have kiosks! The drinks have always arrived quick. The staff are fine. The inside is cozy with few seating. Definitely a hangout for small groups or just a friend. I've only had drinks to-go. The strawberry matcha is delicious. But this time I got the blueberry smoothie. It was perfect for a hot day. The sweetness levels have always been just right. I'd definitely recommend this location. There's loads of drinks option and I still want to try more!

A small boba store serving drinks and small fried snacks. Jasmine milk tea with almond milk -- 3/5, I got 75% sweetness, but still too sweet. I could have gone with 50%. The milk tea is a rage, feels on the thinner side probably because I got almond mil. I thought the popping water chestnut topping would be fun to try since I like water chestnuts, but I really did not like the taste. Oolong milk tea with oat milk -- 2/5, the oat milk and oolong tea don't go well together here. It's a more roasted flavor, but just not that great.

Passion Fruit Tea - pretty good

3 stars mainly because of how grimy it is. There's a noticeable layer of dirt under the benches, and every time I've accidentally dropped something, it's hard not to feel grossed out. The lack of cleanliness makes the space feel unsanitary and takes away from the overall experience. However, the staff are friendly and always happy to help, which I really appreciate. The passionfruit green tea is pretty good. You can opt for pulp or not--just keep in mind it's quite tart and full of seeds, so I'd suggest adding extra sweetness to balance it out.

I got their chamomile tea late at night since we were looking for a café to work for a little bit. I was a bit shocked and disappointed that they didn't have Wi-Fi access for their customers. So if you're looking for a café to work at even though they're open late, this is probably not it unless you're just having a conversation.

Came because I saw tiramisu drink with a lady finger in it but I guess it was a seasonal item. Got the pumpkin one instead and it was pretty good but I like things sweet. For others I would recommend getting it half sweet. They don't really have a parking lot but you can probably find street parking or one of those garages.

The inside is a little run down and needs TLC but the drinks are really good. There aren't many street parking options. The closest parking structure is across the street located on the corner of Fairoaks Ave. and E. Green Street. $1 for the first 2 hours. Online ordering is available.

I visited this store on a Friday 5 PM. The milk tea itself is good. Not quite on the boba and service. Boba: feels odd compared to wushiland's fresh newly made boba. Service: I walked in and the employee had no knowledge that a new customer walked through the door. Definitely did not greet me or say "sorry, I didn't noticed you walked in." Let's just say she knew I walked in, she did not even say "I'll be right there, give me a moment". When I grabbed the drink, I'm the only one saying thank you.

It was around $19 for two large drinks. There were some open tables available for indoor seating. You can place your order using a self-serve screen. Parking is available in a nearby structure or on the street. The drinks were okay, but the cups were slim and didn't fit in my car's cup holder. I tried the Strawberry Bliss with boba.

On a Friday morning was not too busy at 8:30am and waited for 5-10 minutes to order my Americano. But it was a wait that didn't feel like minutes, rather it felt like seconds. My coffee came out and tasted so smooth and heart warming. It was hot but not too hot, just enough to get the cold out of my hands and heart. The crisp taste of well-brewed coffee and chai is refreshing. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment. Also, this is a "Laptop Free Establishment." They have no available electrical outlets and no customer internet.) I arrived at Two Kids (South Pasadena) on Tuesday (around 12:28PM). Parking is free and available. Two Kids (South Pasadena) is located across from South Pasadena City Hall. There's a competitive, free lot in the rear; it's a "4 Hour Parking Limit." Also, there's available, competitive free street parking. Staff is very mellow, professional, and respectful. Staff politely answered all my questions, and Staff felt very low stress. This location is surprisingly popular, and Staff easily breaks into friendly conversation. My drink took about three minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Espresso w/ Milk & Chai ($6.75 - Iced). The drink is very underwhelming, but it's 1000% better than any chain coffee joint. The Espresso w/ Milk & Chai had a light enduring caffeine, and its flavor is very basic and simple. I would not drive a long distance for these drinks, but if I lived in the immediate area, this business is an easy spot to incorporate into a daily routine. It's affordable and good enough. On ambiance, Two Kids (South Pasadena) happily embraces its "just good enough" features. It lacks many basic amenities; there's no restroom, no customer internet, and no electrical outlets. They proudly have MANY little signs proclaiming how it's a "laptop free establishment." The location is also small; there's about two counter tables and three tiny stool tables. However, Two Kids (South Pasadena) is comfortable. I especially appreciated the air purifier and the strong ventilation. The place felt airy and refreshing. Also, the stereo system is very clear and with chill music. They even had one tiny bottle of hand sanitizer by the counter. It's also very animal friendly since I saw customers walk inside with their dogs on the leash. Overall, Two Kids (South Pasadena) feels built to serve the local community. It's not an impressive spot, but there's glimpses of passion for locals. If you live nearby Two Kids (South Pasadena), I recommend. It's not bad at all. 4.3 out of 5
