PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO AVOID MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!! If I could give a negative I would! All around disappointing when I went here over the weekend for a Bachelor party! Want good food & service, go somewhere else. Want to sit while eating in, go somewhere else. Want some A/C, you won't get it here. For a business with a great location, the execution of this restaurants set up all the way down to the menu has to be one of the worst I've experienced. I'm a big lover of smoked meat, so I can tell when restaurants aren't using fresh smoked meat, this place has nothing fresh about it. There advertisement should read, want some food that's been sitting in my fridge since who knows when & be served by people who seem to have somewhere better to be with no interest in helping you pick from the menu, but call themselves a manager when you complain & can't even pretend to want to help. Would you also like to stand up in Las Vegas heat while not enjoying your overpriced small portioned food with a 6 drink selection & 3 being soda, come on in. We also have a surprise of homeless people who like to consistently walk up because it's outside so they can harass you for money or your food with no help from the staff 5 feet from you, then you found the right place guys!! (Luckily I was at a spot they couldn't get to me, just got to watch this happen to two other guest because I'm as observant as it get.) If this place wasn't on the well known Fremont Street by one of the stages & 2 outside bars, I would have lowered my expectations. I know how to keep my expectations in check when eating out. If I go to fast food, I expect fast food service. But if I go to the Las Vegas Strip or Fremont my expectations shift because it's a pricey & normally great experience so I know these people are making okay or great money. One other things about these "servers", they aren't servers they are cashiers who expect a tip when you walk up to there register just to take your order & bring you're food up to 15ish feet away from where they had been standing. They don't check in, if they forget anything down to a fork you have to go to them, if you need extra sauce for a price you have to go to them, if you have more luck then me it won't take almost 10 minutes to get after asking for it again. If you have a problem with your order you have to go to them & they treat you like your goal is to get something for free or ask for your money back. So guys if you read this far & you still decided to give it a chance still, please at least save that tip till after you have your food because they did not deserve mine! Also there is a BBQ place at the casino Binion's right next door that I passed by so I'd give that a shot first if you're craving some BBQ. I'm sure you can sit there & actually have a server. An to the company, please don't bother to say shit back! Like really! As of now you have a -3 for me, so this has to be the worst review I've given. That reply will push you to a -4. If you cared you would have cared when I was there. So anything you say back is fake shit to try and make yourself look better on here that I don't have the patients or respect for! I've read your responses on your reviews & y'all straight up copy & past. So save the fake shit for the the people while buy it. Food came out from the food truck fast and cooked to perfection. The portions were not large enough only because I couldn't get enough, kidding on the size. For our wedding after party we wanted to take our friends and family somewhere they would have the best night of their lives. We were looking for somewhere that was in the middle of Fremont Street, a place that had food options for all of our guests, and of course somewhere that would be great for photo ops. From the Hogstravaganza, to the extremely talented bartenders, to the AMAZING customer service, project BBQ didn't disappoint. Pulled Pork Tacos - 3 stars - Unless you really love onions this is basically a tortilla, pork, and BBQ sauce. Could use some slaw or crunch topping. We we're looking for barbecue and found this place at downtown Fremont. Pictures of the food looked good on the menu, so, my expectation was that the flavor would mirror what my eyes had seen. Their menus are on TV screens while waiting in line - so it's kind of hard to see what they have until you're at the cash register. I got a bratwurst sandwich, it came with peppers & onions and chips on the side. It's good drunk food. If you've been drinking - it'll do the trick. But would I go here sober? Probably not. Prices are a little high but it's Fremont, and that's just how things are. Wait time was short on a Saturday night & they have outdoor tables you can stand and eat at. This is a cute place outside of the Circa hotel. I love how they serve the food out of a truck. It's a twist to authentic bbq food and was very fresh. We started with the brisket empanadas, which were very delicious and I love the crema they put on top, it was a little greasy but still good. The chicken tacos were very good and the brisket sandwich was amazing. I loved the slaw that comes on the sandwich, they also give you a side of chips with the sandwich which was a great crunch. Some of the chips were greasy and soggy but most were good. The staff was very sweet and helpful with the menu. I definitely recommend to come here for good eats. read more

And yes, I agree with another Yelper, there were no prices to be seen, but hey, you're in Vegas! The sandwich was a decent size with some tasty pulled pork and bbq sauce. I had two issues with it: -the juicy tender pork made the bread soggy -more bbq sauce needed It would've been great if the pork was tossed with the sauce and perhaps it wouldn't soak the bread. We got the pulled pork sandwiches and an order of Project Chips and it was all great. It's a little pricey, but it's Fremont Street in Vegas so that's to be expected, and it was certainly worth the money. What really sells it, is the environment. The place is the perfect spot to have a little dinner or late night snack and watch the concerts on the stage, which is right next to Project BBQ, or just people watch. Fremont Street is crazy and this is the best place on the street to watch it all. Just one warning, the pulled pork sandwiches come with chips, so if, like us, you order more, you will have a mountain of chips. Also, it's BBQ, you're going to get sticky, so plan to wander to one of the nearby casinos for a stop in the restroom to wash your hands. Most restaurants would try to make the situation better and fulfill the correct order. In this case, the lady inquired what we ordered. And when there was a disparity in the order, she LITERALLY came to our table to remove the items that we didn't order. Her rationality was that "you guys should be happy since you're getting more". True we got "more" but it wasn't the items we ordered. Once she came to remove the extra items, she made the items we were missing... not to mention the proportions were extremely small... so spiteful. I wanted to give this review some time to reflect and compare service in the local areas before posting. Again, the food tasted great, but that one experience with customer service tainted my overall impression and I will not be returning. A short bald man who appeared to be a busboy, told us we had to leave because I had draped my jacket over the railing. My wife and I patronised several dozen businesses both Downtown and in Henderson that weekend where our money and our patronage was met with gratitude and hospitality. Was on Fremont Street so decided to check out Project BBQ. The food truck is easy to locate as it's next to the entertainment stage. Their area is fenced off and they have about four tables where customers can stand and enjoy their food while listening to the music. I ordered the Garbage Bowl which was chips (kettle?) covered with brisket, pork, chicken, cole slaw and bacon bits (think nachos but different). It's sorta pricey, as it was $20 which included a 20oz bottle of soda. I would definitely order it again but want to try their brisket or pulled pork sandwiches.
