Project Bánh Mì Boba was called Ding Tea before. The menu and shop is essentially identical with a few more tea options. I came in on 3/11/25 at around 6:30 PM and they were out of ALL baguette sandwiches. I was told that they had a large order earlier during the day so I got the taro tiger, their fresh milk tea series. This was a DISAPPOINTING drink. It did not taste like a fresh milk tea but tasted rather powdery. If you look at the cup closely, you could see small white clusters throughout. I had a Passionfruit Green Tea with (Popping) Strawberry Boba. Very refreshing, exactly what I needed. There were so many options outside of tea, they had smoothies & other yogurt based drinks, coffee & so forth. Be sure to check near the register, there might a special flavor. They had watermelon for the special & it didn't come in tea form so I passed on it (this time). If it's available another time, I'm definitely getting it as a smoothie. I was greeted when I walked in. The person who took my order was nice. The tea didn't take long at all. They have a couch towards the back with an LED light hovering over that perfect for a photo op to post on your social media feeds. I patronized this business over 4 years ago. Well, during my most recent stay, I searched it up and couldn't find it on Yelp. I was bummed out because it is hot in Oklahoma and I wanted a bubble milk tea. I decided to walk across from my hotel and see for myself and I was in luck! It was still open but under a new name? Not sure if it's the same owner but this time I see they expanded their menu or maybe I just didn't notice that there were now Vietnamese sandwiches available! In California there is Lees Sandwiches which has delicious Vietnamese sandwiches and priced budget friendly. I love Vietnamese sandwiches! I did order one here and it was pretty good, fresher than Lees and priced less. Oklahoma's prices are great, my god I love this State so much! When asked to see if they can move it, so my family can sit (I had two toddlers with me). The cashier replied, "you can't move it." I repeated again, "no, I am asking can you please move it?" She said again, "no, you can't move it." I explained, "I understand, which is why I am asking can you please move it?" Completely tone deaf to my request, she replied again, "oh the table is reserved for the boxes." At this point another lady came to ask what is going on, I asked her to see if they can move the box, so my family can sit. She demanded me to go move it, because it is "heavy." I told her, "no, I don't work here, you have others to help you." Her response, "no, she can't because the male employee isn't there anymore." Up next on the to try list was Project Banh Mi Boba. It turned out to be a refreshing, maybe even healthy break, from Mexican food, burgers and fried fast food /diner food. Vietnamese food means fish sauce; risky territory for me. I can handle a little of the nasty stuff if it is well masked with another strong flavor like garlic, cilantro, onion, etc. That begs the question as why do I keep coming to Vietnamese restaurants, knowing that the despicable fish juice is lurking in the kitchen.? Well even with a hint of the pungent fishy brine, I have had some delicious Vietnamese foods. Today was one of those experiences. Cautiously I proceed. The first priority when ordering our two Bahn Mi is emphasize no added fish sauce. One Roast Pork and one Chicken with everything on them, except for you know what. Add two Pâté Chaud, a "hot pastry pie." The Vietnamese version of a hot pocket. They are kept hot and served hot, like a hot McDonalds apple pie. Drinks. This is where it really got interesting. I don't care for those sickening sweet bubble teas. The ones with the menacing little cyst like things suspended in the drink. On the counter was a picture of the new drinks the restaurant has. The Chili Tamarind spoke to me. You can order these to the sweetness you prefer. I went with 30, whatever that means. 30 is the lowest possible choice just above 0. The lady said this was sour, so a little sugar was needed. It turned out to be just right. My wife ordered some type of green tea something. Also, without the little suspended fish egg looking things, or excessive sugar. The Bahn Mi were meaty explosions of flavors, rolled up in fresh baguettes. The pork being better than the chicken. That tart Chili Tamarind drink that I ordered was the perfect beverage to complement my Roast Pork Bahn Mi. Excellent. The Pate Chaud..... not too exciting. I enjoyed the flavorful Bahn Mi much more. A hint of fish sauce was detected in the food, but not distracting. Friendly adequate service, clean, a great place for a sandwich and a weird sugary drink of your choosing. read more

The only thing going for this location is convenience. If you're originally from here, I can understand that this is the one of the best Broken Arrow can offer since the boba scene is practically nonexistent. But my god, my family has some awful taste for even recommending this place to me. The Ding Tea back home in Vegas was so good, and I've taken them for granted because now I'm stuck with this. If it's not the stiff teens who clearly look like they don't want to work and only ever hear half my order which prompts them to ask me to repeat the rest of it almost every single time, the drinks themselves are just poorly made. The taro milk tea lacked the resemblance of an actual taro drink, the other teas have a light tea flavor, the Thai tea is obviously made from powder and the Hokkaido coffee tasted like watery coffee. I kept thinking the shop was having an off day but after my 3rd drink from here, this is definitely their standard. Save your money and stomach for something more memorable. read more

Solid boba chain with locations in various parts of the country, and I was glad to see that they opening up a spot in the south part of Tulsa. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea is one of my favorites to get from here because of its sweetness and flavor. I think it's also great that they sell Vietnamese sandwiches, which are made fresh and taste surprisingly good and crunchy for it not being a restaurant. My go to is typically their combination Banh Mi for an affordable price. Usually they also sell spring/summer rolls, desserts, and other pastries, which tend to sell out. The reviews here are outdated and I think everyone in BA knows this is The best in town for boba and a snack... The service is always on point and they make your drinks super fast, they have a wide selection of drinks for anyone, (my favorite is a matcha milk tea full sweetened with tapioca pearls) and their bahn mi sandwiches are the best. Ding Tea Tulsa is pretty good. I got the strawberry smoothie with normal sugar and a fried egg sandwich. Loved the sandwich, I've never had anything quite like it. The baguette was crunchy and soft on the inside and the sandwich had great flavors. The smoothie was not bad. I wish there was more flavor options for smoothies or the ability to mix flavors. Service here sucks. I ordered a baguette. The girl had no clue what it was ordering. I had to say it, "French bread, loaf of bread, a baguette." There are not many boba options in Tulsa, but now this will absolutely be my go-to boba place if I'm ever in town. Kungfu Tea in Carrollton is my usual but the one in Tulsa is a bit too far from where my folks are. I opted for the wintermelon since that's what I typically get at Kungfu Tea. I'm happier with Ding Tea's in that they are way more generous with their boba scoops. It was a nice chewy qq consistency and the sweet flavor was there. I got the standard sweetness level for my drink, but I should have opted for a little less because I felt it was just a bit too sweet. When I got home I added some almond milk and that really helped dilute the sweetness. The workers wore masks and made the drinks fast (though no line helped). The bahn mi were really tasty, especially the sweetness on the grilled pork. The baguette had a decent crispy chew that you want on a fresh bahn mi. The pork pocket was delicious, and probably stuff with the same sweet pork in the sandwich. Egg tarts were OK. A little soggy, but that's what you get with delivery. My kids got the boba teas, but I did taste them and they were really good. The thing we liked is you could order your own percentage of sweetness, which is nice because boba tea is usually super sweetened. The 30% sweet level on the taro tea was great! The tea has been okay there aren't many options in Tulsa and this location is rather far from me, but I love boba. This location opens sooner than others, but not consistently. My last experience was rather negative because they are listed to open at 9 am and I came at 10:15 am to be turned away and told they aren't opening till 11 am with little explanation given. I had even called ahead to try to see if they were open and check the door for a sign but there was none even though the door is left unlocked. I was disappointed since I made the drive and felt cheated/embarrassed. Wishing I had some tea or that they were more clear they were closed by locking the door or posting a sign. :( read more

I came here for the second time to give them a second chance even though my husband refused. The drinks are definitely overpriced. The food is okay - the bread must've been old because they were hard. I like to support small businesses. I asked if they can put split a drink since my two year old wanted his own drink but the whole thing would be too much sugar for him. The girl laughed and said i had to do it myself. She gave me a sealed cup(not the lid kind of top) and I had to scoop the boba on the bottom and pour it myself. I was really excited for Ding Tea to hit Tulsa since Owasso is a bit of a drive from where I live. Their banh mi is great - prices are decent compared to other places, and I personally love the dac biet/combination sandwich. Hard to say whether it beats Lee's in OKC but I'll take what I can get! Their milk tea is okay - their menu is very extensive so you basically have anything you could ever imagine on the menu - milk tea, fruit teas, smoothies, etc. I've tried their matcha and the strawberry yakult drinks. They were good, but I wasn't able to get any toppings that I wanted since they were out at the time and I didn't want to wait 20 minutes for another batch. The yakult was still very sweet even with 25% sugar, so if you're not a sweet person at all - definitely go low! I'm a bit sad they don't have the Butterfly Teas that the Owasso location offered since those are my favorite. Pricing is on par with other places - maybe a tad pricer depending on what toppings you like. The Owasso location is definitely much more aesthetic with better seating area. The Tulsa location only has one table with chairs around it, and there's just random seating close by to it. The majority of the space is dedicated to the kitchen, understandably. But, because of this, this isn't an ideal place to come and study/hang out with friends unless you manage to get that one table. The days I went they were considerably busy too, so it seems this is more meant to be a come-and-go type of shop. Personally, if you want an all-in-one boba shop that comes with great food, this is definitely more convenient. I think I've managed to try all the boba places in Tulsa at this point, and Ding Tea for sure has the most extensive menu. But comparing it to Cha Bubble Tea and Boss Tea which are relatively within 10 minutes of Ding, I think Boss Tea is still overall my favorite for a great space to sit and study or play games, and for their fruit teas. I haven't tried smoothies from Ding Tea just yet, but I absolutely love the matcha red bean one from Cha. Both Cha and Boss usually aren't as busy as Ding Tea so there's not as much waiting time, but that's understandable since Ding Tea is more of a chain than the other ones. I did most of my orders on their training day and their soft opening, so it's possible they'll improve on this once they get a better flow! read more
