The staff were very friendly and served us with a smile. I had a few questions and the young woman behind the counter was very helpful to me since I don't usually drink these sort of things or eat the taiyaki. Didn't realize how far the drive was until I started route. Took me 30 mins to get here. This shop was the only shop in the plaza that was still opened and it stayed busy right after I put my order in. There were a few patrons already waiting on their order and I ordered from the kiosk. They have a wide range of flavors but nothing that stood out from the normal of what we see for drink selections. My sister wanted to try the labubu jelly since thats all the rage now. It was nice that staff came out to ask what flavor we would like since there was no option given on the kiosk. Two drinks and the Labubu jelly with a tip came out to $21 and some change which is way out of the norm of what I usually pay for a boba drink, its all the add ons that tops to this amount; thankfully this expense is not a regular one. Boss Tea is my favorite boba tea shop in Tulsa. I love their brown sugar latte, especially the fresh milk used in that tea. This drink resembles the famous dirty boba drink from Feng Cha (dirty boba from Feng Cha is so yummy though). If you are tired of the regular powder boba milk tea, give the brown sugar latte at Boss Tea a try. Get less ice or no ice for a creamier taste. Half sugar was just right for me. P.S. Tulsa meets taiyaki - the filled and ice cream version. The red bean was a little too sweet for me (that's just personally!), but they are a delicious treat to go with their drinks. Boss tea is cute and their menu is extensive, I've only tried the tea without the boba pearls so can only speak to the good quality tea and not boba (yet). Also note the cheese filling is a "sweet", creamy cheese (think laughing cow cheese). There is also cheddar which I'm guessing is more savory. The most expensive boba and no points system to earn free boba. I just don't know if it's worth it. They have some of the better boba in town, but at the cost of one of the highest prices in town. Maybe if the Customer Service was better, than I could justify it. But it doesn't feel good, especially whenever they have warnings saying that if you ask for no ice that they will only fill it 70%. It's just water steeped in plant leaves, why so selfish? I think it's crazy they rather throw away the excess liquid and be greedy with the tea, when they could be making customers happy and have them feel like they are getting a good value. A location In Dallas, TX was founded with matcha being their main menu item. I lived nearby this location at the time of their grand opening a few years ago and I was instantly in love after the first sip. Before then I had only tried Starbucks matcha... I had the Taiwanese milk tea today and I definitely will make this my go to drink for whenever I visit Tulsa! It had a perfect sweetness for me. Their boba is waaaayy better and more refined now than when I came here previously (pre covid days). It was sweet and had a nice chewy consistency, tasting similar to how the boba is at the big chains (Kungfu Tea, Sharetea, etc). Personally, I prefer Kungfu Tea's boba but Boss Tea is great for Tulsa and is only a five minute drive from my parents house so it'll do for me! They don't seem to have a mask policy enforced for staff or customers, as some workers wore masks and some didn't. I didn't mind since I'm full vaccinated + boosted. Huge boba fan here. I wanted to try this place after we had hot pot.... It's a small cute little shop located at the end of a shopping strip. I came here today with friends, we got four drinks. We got a strawberry cheesecake slush, mango coconut slush, and two brown sugar lattes. The strawberry cheesecake was really good! The mango coconut tasted like "warm milk" at the bottom and the slush separated shortly after ordering. The brown sugar lattes did not have any black tea in them so they were milk and sugar... we took back the mango coconut and 1 of the brown sugar lattes to see if we could switch them out. The lady said we will have to pay for anything we order even if we didn't like the ones we ordered. I feel like that's fair enough. Absolutely love all the drinks here! I've tried about half of the menu here since the opening, and I've loved each one! My top favorites are the Mocha Viet Coffee [secret menu item, must check their Insta to see them and their fruit lattes!! and their viet coffee line uses actual coffee instead of powder woo], tiramisu matcha [the tiramisu topping is my FAVORITE - SO SO GOOD! a must for all matcha lovers], mango jasmine tea [light, refreshing!], and the citrus refresher [an orange soda type of feel]. I love that they have matcha pudding too, as I am a 100% matcha lover. I personally recommend getting it less sweet just because a lot of them already come very sweet - I've tried the mango jasmine with no sweetness at all and it still tasted amazing! There's few drinks that run SUPER sweet, like the winter melon milk tea - so be sure to beware of that one. This is my go-to place for fruit teas for sure, and the layout of the shop is so cute!
