Pure Food and Juice caters toward a specific niche, those who love a healthy plant based diet…read more While I may not fall into this category, I can certainly appreciate the vision of the restaurant. If you are a vegan, then this place is without a doubt heaven on Earth. What I love most about this restaurant are originalities and intricacies of the food. I can see the passion in the food at this restaurant. The Strawberry Love smoothie was very refreshing. I think the drinks would be perfect for the summer. I was told that everything is made fresh daily in the morning and the popular juices will be sold out by the evening. Presentation of the food was striking. It maybe difficult to see but the salad was coated with a very thin layer of avocado/guacamole and topped with grated cheese. The avocado/guacamole made the salad taste amazingly delicious. Lasagna is a favorite entree at the restaurant. Composed of multiple layers of vegetables and sauces, this was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had. At one point, I almost forgot that there were no meat in the lasagna. I must disclose I love tomato sauce and this entree had plenty of it. So to address the elephant in room, would I recommend Pure Food and Juice? Absolutely, if you are into plant based vegan diet. If you are not, you may prefer to spend your money elsewhere because $22 for a vegan lasagna may not be worth it. I just cannot recommend a vegan diet to someone who doesn't like vegan food. However, as a foodie, I appreciate the love and passion reflected in the food from this restaurant, from the small details to the bigger presentation and FOR THAT REASON I AM GIVING THIS RESTAURANT A 5 STARS.

Even though we're on a dairy free diet, this was the first time we got to try cashew cheese. It felt like we were back to eating regular food again. The breakfast tacos tasted so good. As an added bonus, we even got to try some of my mother in law's dairy free, gluten-free nachos. While I loved my coffee lovers smoothie, I feel like the dark chocolate flavor stood out more than the coffee. My wife felt like her birthday cake smoothie was good, but it might be better branded as a blue island bliss, as it had more of a coconut & banana flavor than birthday cake. The atmosphere was pretty cool. They opened the garage door to let the cool breeze in while it rained as we ate in the vestibule. We were thankful for the many options they offered, so we could enjoy a meal with my wife and in laws. We're even open to going back once we're out of the diet to try other options.

For the entrée, I got the Bibimbap Bowl and for the smoothie I got the Coffee Lover Smoothie. The bowl was fantastic and the tofu specifically was exceptional. As for the smoothie, it was very tasty, but the price point is a bit much in my opinion. Overall, I very much enjoyed it, especially as someone who loves meat and typically doesn't have a plant-based or vegan diet. I would definitely come back and I'll be wanting to have more of that tofu before long! (4/5)
