Here's where the evening went to hell. 1st, I had already eaten at another event prior to coming. I was there for a drink to celebrate my friend. Our waitress came out and asked THREE times if anyone wanted this extra pork chop since she had ordered an extra by accident. I said "sure, I'll take it so it doesn't get trashed". FFwd, I see this $50 pork chop on my bill. (I have not eaten pork chop in over 20 years -- I would've ordered a steak, ESP for $50. And it wasn't even that good!) We then move indoors to pay our bills and cut cake, as it's Feb and it's getting cold out. I sat in a chair which I later learned was broken and had been reported earlier by another patron. I fell on the floor. I asked to speak to the manager to complete an incident report. Especially since I had already injured my shoulder and wanted this documented just in case. The manager (Ramie Mercado) not only was demeaning when he spoke to me, but said "I don't have any incident report forms, but if you write down what happened on pen and paper, I'll sign it." Who walks around carrying pen & paper at an adult bday event. Not to mention THERES AN ENTIRE HOTEL downstairs. He then follows up with an insult asking me if I was drunk (while I sip on the same one glass of wine I had for 2 hrs)! Now I'm drunk because YOU don't have the necessary forms??? I then escalated my experience to Ramie's bosses. I never received a follow up call to close out how they'd address my concerns -- like my experience was a normal interaction.
