I…read morestopped by around 6:30 a.m. on Monday--like many night shift workers, this is my "dinner time"--and was immediately met with disrespect. Instead of a simple greeting like "Welcome to Sonic," I was bluntly hit with "What do you want?" over the speaker. No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. I let it go and said I had a mobile order for Larry, only to be told "pull forward" in a rude, demanding tone. It didn't get better. When my food came out, the employee practically shoved the bags into my face--aggressive and completely unnecessary. At that point, it was clear this wasn't just a bad moment; it was a complete lack of basic customer service. I called the store to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, I got even more unprofessional behavior. The manager dismissed the situation with "I'm not the one who did that." That's not the point--you're the manager, and it's your responsibility to address how customers are treated. When I pressed the issue, she escalated things further by cussing at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate, but given that complaints appear to be outsourced and handled with little accountability, I'm not holding my breath. If this is the standard of service at this location, customers should seriously consider going elsewhere. Respect costs nothing--and this place seems unwilling to offer even that.

    My son and I frequent Patsys on an almost weekly basis as a reward for getting 100s on spelling…read moretests - my son loves sno cones and was gifted "Patsys dollars" for his birthday and loves to use them. We most typically go right after school and their staff is always incredibly kind, accommodating- my son has a red dye allergy- they know us and always know he's going to ask for no red gummy bears. We don't expect them to remember that but we appreciate that they do. Today, we pulled right up to the window. I did not see anyone pull in behind us immediately, but they did receive 2 more cars during our interaction. One of the owners was working the window - My son ordered a "Luigi" with clear flavors and gummy bears with no red gummies. Before I could say to him that they don't have those flavors in clear, she rolled her eyes and very rudely told him she had too many customers in line and didn't have time to dig around to avoid red gummy bears. I can respect not having the time to do that task and had she not been rude, it wouldn't have been an issue. We aren't entitled to that task and we are used to not everyone being able to accommodate his allergy. Instead of inconveniencing them further, I simply stated "okay, thank you, we'll go elsewhere." We pulled away and the other owner stuck his head out the door and yelled something at me, but I couldn't make it out, so I decided to call them to get it straightened out. What I got on the other end of the line was an absolute unprofessional maniac who lost his temper because I let my son order his own sno cone and because I said I'd go elsewhere...(which I did and received GREAT service with significantly more customers present!) At one point in our conversation I was told to SHUT MY MOUTH. Not once did I raise my voice to this man, not once was I rude...in fact I told him we are frequent customers and that his staff is amazing. True, they don't like people to take too long and don't like customers waiting too long, I can appreciate that. But not once have we been at their window for longer than 2 minutes and we've been accommodated, with great attitudes and service from their staff. If they're worried about cars leaving because they're waiting "too long", that can't equate to losing guaranteed weekly business from loyal customers. The male owner's behavior was absolutely appalling. He frequently does events for our church, where he is always pleasant, but today he revealed his true character. It's unfortunate that it's the owners, who should be the example for their staff, who lost a customer today. If they can't handle the pressure of three cars in line, perhaps they should leave it to their staff to handle their customers.
