Mike McCue was very forthcoming with details and information on our solar project! He's a person with integrity, and he was never pushy. He got right to the point and saved us a lot of time. We got two other solar estimates. When we weren't sure which way was best for us, Mike said let me prove to you why the Progressive way is the way to go. If I can't, I'm outta here. And show us he did! Amazing savings, all while making our home much more valuable! We were tired of throwing our money into the bank of Edison, so solar was a total no-brainer! Mike said it would take a day to a day-and-a-half to install, and it did. He said we'd be up and running within a week after install, and we were! I read reviews about people waiting up to a year to get connected and the installers making a mess out of their home and leaving projects mid-install. Progressive's team of installers was fast, efficient, and they did a beautiful job in a very expeditious manner! We couldn't be happier! read more

Mike McCue is one of the most knowledgeable Solar sales person I have ever met. Mike brings passion and a wealth of information to his appointments. I would truly call Mike an energy consultant vs a solar sales person. Mike was able to explain all the options when it comes to solar, not with just slapping panels up on the roof. Mike takes to the time to properly design a system based on your needs and energy demand. Mike was able to navigate the complications of leasing vs buying. I highly recommend meeting with Mike to handle all of your energy needs. read more

Progressive Energy did an excellent job with our Solar Installation. From the very start to the finish I was impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and prompt responses to our inquiries. Our meter is running backwards now and we are net neutral on energy costs. We were so happy with the company that we decided to use them on several other home repair projects. I would definitely recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about Progressive Energy.. From the buying process, to site survey, to building permits, to installation - the service was outstanding! They worked around my schedule, explained every aspect of the process in detail, there were no surprises or hidden costs.. The installation team was amazing. They said they would be at my house at 7am and I found the crew patiently waiting for me at 6:45. They kept my property clean, were extremely friendly and gave me detailed updates throughout the entire installation process. Highly recommended!! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. They do what they say they are going to do. I went with this company because we had been working with solar city they started out paper work and all of a sudden everything stopped. No phone calls from them or anything, they just forgot about us. Every person I came across with in this company has been very helpful and nice to me. They also work with the HERO program which was the way I got my panels. read more

I've purchased two sets of panels from PES now and I couldn't be happier with the product I purchased or the customer service they have provided. The best part is, the company handled absolutely everything from the application to our HOA to being at the house for the electric company inspection. They are absolutely top notch. Anytime I have a question about something, they get right back to me with an answer or a solution. I've recommended them to two friends now and both have been extremely satisfied with the service. I have a third friend who is interested in solar and I'll definitely be recommending Progressive Energy Solutions to him as well. read more

scheduling is non existent. Wayne tells me they would come to my house at 8 and the girls who answer the phone say afternoon, and then Wayne said an emergency came up. Apparently a lot of emergencies come up. Bad service and communication. When you say something stick to it, thats a tip. read more

I could not be happier. The entire process was totally stress free Progressive took care of everything answered all questions and were very professional. It's hard to believe there is a better solar company out there as good maybe but i cant imagine someone better. Thanks Progressive saving money never felt so good. read more

The poorest quality in work I have ever witnessed. It started off with Dave being very nice and professional. However, one the work started it went from professional to horrible. They did not show up when they were supposed to, then when they showed up, they worked for only 1 hour and left. Another time they showed up and worked for 2 hours and left. It took them nearly 1 month to do a job Dave said would take 1 to 2 weeks max. Needless to say, the work was / is horrible. I have facia boards on backwards, the end cuts are sloppy which they tried to cover up with sealant. The tore down my cable wire which is still hanging because I have to pay to have it all taken down and reinstalled. They did not finish all the work that I was contracted to do, they left all their trash behind which he told me they would dispose of, and of course when I made mention of all these complaints, Dave never called me back nor did they try to correct the issues. Dave is a poor excuse for a business man! I am also going to file a compliant with the licensing board for his shady work. Good luck to anyone that decides to use him. read more

I was referred to Mike McCue @ Progressive Energy Solutions by a colleague of mine who used them for solar. I scheduled an appointment with Mike to get a quote for solar and Artificial Turf at my home. Mike showed up 5 mins early to the appointment which was impressive because most trades show up late or call at the appointment time saying they are still on a job and will be there in an hour or 2. Mike was very knowledgeable about his products and honest about everything with the solar and turf. He didn't try and sell us anything which i liked, he was there to answer questions that we had and gave his professional honest opinion which my wife and I appreciated. I would highly recommend Mike & Progressive Energy Solutions to anyone looking to do solar or anything energy efficient for their home. read more

First off stay away from this scum bag company. Only importance is sales. No customer service. No customer is valued. As a hard working Mexican American I have trouble making ends meat as it is. Now on top of all the stress i have I have these guys screwing me over with lies and deception. I dont use much energy at my home. So they told me i would be receiving major credits towards my bill maybe even a check since my solar panels would produce more electricity than I used. So i went on for months without looking at my electric bill. Now my power got turned off and i was told i owe the electric company over 1 thousand dollars. So i looked at the usage chart and it turns out I've been using more electricity with these panels then I ever have without them. I dont know what they did but they did something wrong. So i called customer service and they said i was SOL pretty much but they said it very nicely. I wouod stay away from this company. I wished i would have read the reviews b4 buying from them. This is all about sales and not about customer satisfaction. These scum bags dont care about hard working Americans. They will turn their backs on anyone who has a problem that will cost them money. read more

Now that the price on solar panels is lower, I am purchasing my second set of panels to completely wipe out my frustration with Edison! Progressive Energy did a top notch job for me the first time in 2011 and for my next door neighbor as well. Now with additional panels getting installed I have enjoyed working with Dave Hines again and the entire crew who are all very professional and knowledgeable. I am a picky customer who has to run all the numbers myself before I am satisfied enough to go forward so I'm glad they were patient with me. This stuff has a 25 year warranty and for the few times we have needed inverters upgraded or anything else checked they have always been prompt and thorough and I have never paid a dime. For this purchase I got a good interest HELOC loan but they couldn't fund me for over 30 days. Dave came to the rescue and linked me up with a 0% interest 6-month-same-as-cash loan for the whole thing while I waited for my bank. Way to go Dave! I know Solar is a big investment, but it's worth it in the long run not to be a slave to Edison! read more

Been wanting to write this and thank Mike McCue with Progressive Energy Solutions out of Yucaipa for helping me with my solar problem I had with the HOA because of the first company I used to put my solar up wrong. I was in desperate need to find a company that could fix the problem and not cost me an arm and a leg. Mike jump in and even gave me ideas how to help me keep my two story temperature the same for upstairs and down stairs. It's called zoning and so far has made a tremendous change to how the temperature feels in our house. Temperature is the same upstairs and down stairs now, before it was always hot up stair or freezing and vise versa down stairs. Mike helped me each step of the way went to the city got the permits, took my permits to the HOA and was here while the inspected to fix. Mike even offered to help me learn the app for the zoning process but I think I got it now Mike. Mike never was pushy just gave me options and explained how things work and what it could do to make my home more energy efficient. Very professional. The companies that contract out to Progressive were very professional and cleaned up their mess. I am very satisfied so, if you are looking to make your house more energy efficient I would highly recommend Progressive Energy Solutions. Thanks Mike and Progressive Energy. read more

This summer we entered into a contract with progressive energy for a water free front lawn desert style, we had asked them to come after our vacation to get started but they came early they removed our front lawn the grass they were supposed to pull up the old water waterlines and replace the drip system which never happened they were to The front manual watering system this was a disaster try to remove it with the water still on water everywhere this was after three visits just on our sprinkler water system it was never tapped until the very last day when I threw them off of my property never want them to come back, they left it hanging there for two months.when I came to putting the rock in it was done on time but we were having a wall built with a Sedona flagstone I was told that there was none in Southern California but when I called to cancel our contract with them they Rightaway said that they would go to Arizona to pick it up but the next day they said they were in San Diego picking it up my opinion I think somebody doesn't pay their bills the wall came out beautiful their Master Mason did a beautiful job better than I expected and for the fact that they had three young guys at the end this company was not worth my time my energy I will never recommend this company to anyone. I'm the one that had to finish up my home there's so many pieces that were not finished dropped to me this is the company that goes from job to Job again my opinion and does not have great customer service give them a call you'll find out from the front office... Now there were some people as I said who did a great job there master Mason and his work for the three last gentleman that came in the workers hard workers and a sales rep that sold me this otherwise the people in charge are not worth your time move onto another company make sure you check with every company I wish my father was still alive so that he could do everybody's job he knew a customer service was all about thank you read more
