I've always recommended Nicks to everyone who asks who has the best crab cakes in the area- hands down, it's Nicks! Sadly, tonight we had a bad experience- not with the food- not with the dinner service (our server, Erica, was wonderful)...Instead, our party of 17 was basically treated as though we were unwanted guests by the hostess. Squeezing 6 teens and 3 children into a corner booth and the rest of us in two adjacent tables. Rather than giving us the extra table next to us so we actually had space for the plates in front of us, the hostess refused stating it was "another servers section". Unless you're a party of 4, you're probably too much hassle and they'd rather you not show up at their door.

Not overpowering with jalapeño but still a nice twang to them. My favorite sandwich is the best turkey burger around if you want to say you ate healthy. The bread selection trays were always empty, unless you like rye and pumpernickle. After paying for 5 adults and one child, Over $200, plus tax and tips, I was extremely disappointed. I did, however give my waitress $30 tip for her great service. Next year, I'll still take the family to Easter brunch, but not at Caddyshack.

The chicken looked incredible--golden, crispy, and generously portioned. The entire meal gave that unmistakable home-cooked comfort vibe right from the start. Highlights of the Dishes: Fried Chicken: Perfectly fried to a deep golden brown, the chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Every bite was flavorful, moist, and satisfying--the kind of comfort food that makes you pause and smile. It tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen, made with love and patience. Collard Greens: The collard greens were a standout. Savory, slow-cooked, and seasoned with soul, they had that deep, smoky flavor that can only come from hours of simmering. One bite and it truly touched my soul--rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Baked Macaroni and Cheese: This was classic baked mac and cheese done right. Creamy and cheesy inside, with a crispy, caramelized layer of baked cheese on top that added texture and bold flavor. Every forkful blended comfort, richness, and that irresistible bite of toasted cheese--the definition of soul food satisfaction. Cornbread: The cornbread was moist, dense, buttery, and lightly sweet--a perfect partner to the savory dishes. It had that homemade taste and texture that only comes from scratch baking. Every part of this meal felt intentional and heartfelt. You can taste the quality, freshness, and love poured into every bite. While some might consider $23.99 a bit high for a chicken dinner, it's absolutely worth every penny for the portion size, made-from-scratch cooking, and pure comfort it delivers. This is soul food done right--real, honest, and satisfying. I'm already planning to go back to try their desserts next, because if they're anything like this meal, I know they'll be just as unforgettable. Friendly service too!

I got a cheese omelet, home fries, and toast; Jenni got the Reese's peanut butter cup pancakes. The omelet was really quite amazing and unlike any other I've had. The omelet was very thick, flavorful, and delicious. The home fries were the best I recall ever having and were dark and very flavorful and full of texture - not undercooked mush nor burnt charcoal like you sometimes encounter. Jenni said her pancakes were delicious and filling. This is one of the few meals we weren't able to finish. We plan to revisit and try some of the delcious- sounding lunch foods, notably the Reuben.
