    Breakfast po boy with grits

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and we were all highly impressed! Service was good, food was wonderful. They have something for everyone. Grits were some of the best I've had in a long time. Apparently the chicken and waffles dish was delicious. Coffee was a bit weak, but that's not a big deal. Would recommend!!

Came here as we were driving by on our way to Virginia. The restaurant was having a private event and it was really loud. Anyway, food was good and seasoned well, nothing special. However, it came out so quickly after we ordered it and felt like it was reheated instead of freshly prepared. Food came before our drinks. Go figure. My pasta had super hot penne at the bottom of the bowl and some pastas were room temperature on top. Main entrees were inexpensive but the salad was way too small for $8, drinks were $10, small pour, my BF had ketel on the rocks and he had 2 sips and it was gone. Our server was nice but this restaurant is a no go for me.

I stopped in for takeout while in Harrisburg for a conference; I ordered a shrimp po'boy and sweet potato fries. The pros: it was tasty, the remoulade sauce was spicy and delish. The fries were perfectly done and plentiful. The cornbread they also gave me was soft and very tasty. The cons: I asked for an iced tea while I waited for the food; it never arrived and they gave me one to go. I didn't need it anymore. The po'boy: it only had three shrimp on it. So disappointing for $15. The three I had were delicious but it really needed five as you can see from the picture. Would have been 5 stars if they gave 5 on there.

Wing Nite at Crawdaddys!!!!! 45cent wings all day, you can't beat that... and these aren't just regular wings. These are THE BEST wings in the area. So yummy and crunchy with flavors like lemon pepper, creole butter, sweet heat and more. Prepare to wait a while for your meal as it will be made fresh. It is well worth the wait though. I was part of a large party of 14 with 3 kids. Our waitress Gina handled it like a pro Happy hour is 5pm -7pm with drinks, wine, drafts, favorites sides and salad all for $5.00 or less. I cannot wait to dine here again!

I sat at the bar and ordered, bartenders were very nice and engaging! I started with chicken & collard green eggrolls (sounded interesting) cooked really well but just too much for me to eat lol. The seafood platter was really good specifically the crab cake! It was sooo thick, I would've probably ordered just one had I known but it's what I would recommend if its your first visit. I did go back because Im greedy and tried the wings and they were also delicious and flavour. They put little crumbles of blue cheese on the hot buffalo wings (on point). It took a while for my main course to come out..I was getting sleepy but it was well worth the wait as the place got pretty crowded.

Man... I was not expecting that! Best southern cooking I have had since we moved here from Alabama. Stopped in for brunch after church. My better half had the catfish and grits breakfast and I had the breakfast po' boy. From the cornbread brought out before the meal to the fried green tomato side everything was delicious. The catfish was perfectly cooked. The grits (with cheese) were creamy and delicious. All washed down with the best Sweet Tea I have had up north. My wife - raised in Alabama - actually said best grits she had ever had. Portion sizes weren't the biggest, but between the tea and cornbread, I didn't leave hungry. Wouldn't call it great for the price point but not bad either. If there was anything I would knock, it was the little details - decor (hanging wires, dying plants) and the service (could have been more attentive). But, with cooking this good? I can overlook it. Overall great visit. Will be back for some jazz and jambalaya.

It appears that certain drinks are overpriced. A single shot of Tequila is $15.00. That's the airport price.

When the waitress finally arrived, she mentioned she was the only one working and implied that the slow service would continue throughout the evening. Thankfully, my husband quickly looked up another local spot, and that's when we found Captain Krab Cajun Seafood & Boil--what a blessing! Not only did we enjoy incredible food and exceptional service, but both the server and the owner went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday truly special. We were treated to fresh, delicious seafood, a sparkler candle dessert, a plush gift for the birthday girl, and even a light-up birthday sign! We felt like part of their family. We ordered oysters, clam chowder, boiled eggs, baby clams, and snow crab legs--everything was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. You can even customize your meal by choosing from four different seasonings and five levels of spiciness, which makes it ideal for families or groups with mixed tastes. One of the most fun parts? You can write on the walls, tables, and even the ceiling! They also have a claw machine for the kids (and kids at heart). We'll absolutely be back next time we're in town! P.S. It's BYOB!

This place had been on my radar for a while, but when I recently learned that Grappling Crab Shack…read morewas serving Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs, there was no longer any point in delaying the inevitable. A crabby dinner needed to happen...immediately! I recruited an adventure buddy and we made plans to meet at Grappling Crab Shack's creekside home base on a rainy Saturday evening. We arrived around 5pm, about an hour before closing, and thanks to the rain, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves! If you've never been, Grappling Crab Shack is a local family-owned business specializing in fresh Maryland blue crabs, gourmet crab cakes, seasonal seafood specialties, catering and a food truck that travels throughout the area. It's one of those hidden gems that feels like you've stumbled onto a local secret. Since it was our first visit, we decided to do what any reasonable seafood lovers would do....order basically everything! First up were the Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs ($18 for six). Holy. Cow! These were TREMENDOUS! The filling was loaded with crab, each egg was topped with a little bit of bacon and they disappeared from the plate embarrassingly fast. If you visit Grappling Crab Shack and don't order these, I genuinely think you're making a mistake! Next came the Cajun Jambalaya ($10) with chicken, smoked sausage, tomatoes, trinity vegetables and Cajun spices. This was excellent. Smoky, flavorful, and carrying just enough heat to let you know it was Cajun without setting your face on fire. My adventure buddy never once reached for hot sauce, which says a lot! Then came the Cheesy Crab Bites ($15). These might actually be my favorite surprise of the evening. Homemade crab cake mix blended with mozzarella, cream cheese and garlic, rolled in panko and Old Bay, fried until golden and served with a house remoulade. I'd choose these over mozzarella sticks every single day of the week! The cheese pulls were absolutely glorious, and the remoulade added the perfect tangy finish. Finally, we tackled the Gourmet Crab Cake ($17). This thing was HUGE! Made with fresh Maryland blue crab, it was beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked, and held together much better than several crab cakes I've had recently. I'm actually glad we skipped ordering it as a sandwich because the crab cake itself deserved to be the star of the show. Our total came to right around $60, and considering how much food we ordered, plus the leftovers we both brought home, I thought it was money well spent. We grabbed one of the covered tables out back overlooking the yard and listening to the creek rush by. Despite the rain, it was a really relaxing place to enjoy dinner. I can only imagine how nice it is on a sunny summer evening. The staff couldn't have been kinder, bringing everything out to us with smiles and making us feel right at home. This place is an absolute hidden gem and one of my favorite seafood spots to have checked out in the last few months! I'll definitely be back, preferably on a dry evening when I can fully enjoy the creekside setting. If you love crab, seafood, or just supporting awesome local businesses, don't sleep on Grappling Crab Shack. And whatever you do...order the deviled eggs!

The day before, I stopped at the same place to get some delicious fish, but that night I wasn't able to "swim with the fishes," so I came back the second day--and that was the best "swimming in the ocean" I ever did. I indulged in some delicious, cheesy, savory grits along with some delicious shrimp, fried to perfection with a golden, crispy brown outer layer drizzled with seasoning (but not too much). I also had some delicious flounder; now, this fish wasn't any less than the shrimp. The fish was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. I know a lot of fish--all the fish in the sea know me, and I know the fish. I must say the establishment is pretty inviting; however, myself being a cleaner, I know that it can definitely use a good cleaning. I did use the bathroom, and well, that was before I had my food and not after, which means it's good, and also the kitchen is clean. I enjoy this place because you do not have to deal with a waiter when it comes to ordering your food. All you have to do is just order at a kiosk, which makes it more convenient. They also sell smoothies, which are very nice as well. I do recommend this place for "to-go" food. To dine in would be okay, but would not be ideal only because it does need a good touch-up; however, the food is always consistent. If you have any questions, there are staff on site. I hope my review helps you make your decision on choosing to visit this location. My Ratings: * Food: 5/5 * Establishment: 2.5/5 * Convenience: 5/5

We felt unwelcome and didn't enjoy our meals that night. Ok, fine, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area, no need to return. However, I may have turned my back, but I did not forget you, CSG. I remembered the good times, the trophies, awards, and accolades for your delicious sauces, and the excellent reputation that you've had all of these years. It was finally time for "The Return." Last night, a completely enjoyable meal and great service at the bar. (The dining room was very busy, and there were several seats open at the bar). It was actually our first time sitting at the bar and I believe this will now be our regular spot to eat and drink here. Got 6 Hot and 6 Creamy Garlic Parm. These wings were the perfect size for me, a little on the small to medium side, and they were cooked well. Not perfectly crispy, but close enough, and the flavor of the wings themselves were tasting fresh and delicious. I always loved their traditional hot sauce and this was my first time trying the creamy garlic Parm. The creamy texture was a little too much for me, so probably just get the regular garlic Parm next time. No issues with flavor, just a little thick and messy. (Somehow, I got that sauce on my shirt and on the back of my neck.) The Blue cheese was a great dipper for the hot sauce but I should've ordered a large cup. I also got the Cacio E Pepe Beef sandwich with fries; it was huge and awesome! I think I would order that every time I go here in the future It was so good. I'm glad that we can now place this restaurant back on our regular rotation list. See you again soon!
