These guys did a great job for our two flat screens that we wanted to get mounted. Ran the cables behind the wall and used their own custom mount to make it look wonderful. Not to mention they got the job done pretty quickly without skipping out on the quality. They made sure everything was level. On top of it they managed to be calm while my 6yo daughter decided to ask "why" on everything they did. Would recommend! read more

Billy was an hour late the first. I told him it was a large tv, and a 2 man job to get it upstairs. He arrived alone, and could not get the tv upstairs. He told me he was coming soon at 3:30, and did not arrive for almost 2 hours. He was unable to find the HDMI cable, which came in the box with the mount so mounted the tv with a old extra long cord he had with him. He moves and works very fast, and attached my cable box to side of the mount. It fell off the next morning, disconnecting my tv. ATT was coming by today, so they replaced the HDMI cord for me, and reconnected the tv. Would not recommend this service. I would like to add that I did not not insult his friend, we were joking around, and I said he looked familiar, And reminded me of one of my son's friends. Billy seems very defensive that he was unable to get the tv upstairs alone, and in fact mentioned that to me. If this was not part of the service, he should have said that and I would have made arrangements to get the tv upstairs. Yes, he made an appointment and was late. His friend also seemed worried that he only used a few of the supplied screws to attach the tv and never said that the cable box would fall off-he said he could attach it with double stick tape, which I did not have. So if you want to have a tv installed properly, call someone else. read more

I called Billy about 4pm on a Tuesday and he was able to come out that evening to mount two tv's for me. He was friendly and explained what he was doing. He was the cheapest I found out there and we couldn't be happier with the way our tv's look. I'd recommend him any day of the week. read more

Billy was fantastic. When I asked for a quote he responded within minutes. He mounted our 55" and a 50" TV's plus a sound bar in just over an hour. They look great. He was a pleasure to work with and I would hire him again. read more

Professional TV Mounting - 55" TV with sound bar - Home Theatre Installation Near Me - Austin, Texas

What can I say, there's not enough stars on this rating for this man. He's a machine! I had two mounts to put up, one in the living room for a 65" TV and another for the bedroom for a 42". He was done in less than an hour, something that would have taken me a couple of hours and another person to help. Worth every penny. read more

I'm long overdue in writing a review. I have used Billy (Professional TV Mounting 3 times now). He is excellent at what he does. This past week I had him hang two televisions in my new home. One in the living room in a built in recessed space above the fireplace and one in the upstairs playroom/media room. He is incredibly accurate at hanging and mounting televisions. He can build you a custom mount or use one you purchased from the store. I have and would highly recommend him to friends and family. He is as good as it gets. read more

I had used Billy once before in May 2012 based on the wonderful yelp reviews he had received on here. I recently called him in September to schedule him to mount 2 TVs, speakers and connect my receiver, game consoles, karaoke and cable to my existing tv....the TV that he had originally mounted for me....but had NO success. My first call was answered by him. He said he was on a job and that he would give me a call that night. Guess what? Nightfall came and NO CALL. Then I called him the next day several times and he never answered nor did he call me back. I called him the following day several times....NOTHING. then I tried to text him...in my text I told him that I had not heard back since my initial call and that it had been a few days...he FINALLY responds. He apologizes and tells me he has been swamped and that his wife is pregnant and that he is with her at the doctor's office. He asks me if Saturday would work for me, I said yes. He tells me he will check his schedule for Saturday and let me know later that day. Never heard from him that night. Next day I try calling him several times yet again...no answer and no call back. At this point I'm pretty disappointed...I mean come on! What kind of service is this?! So I finally decide to text him and let him know how disappointed I am....and voila! I get a response....Yet another excuse from him for the lack of response. I GET IT! We all have problems...we all have emergencies....I can be sympathetic and empathetic. But don't tell me you are going to call me back if you aren't. Don't give me a date and then never confirm. All he had to do was call me and say that he had a personal situation and that he'll give me a call next week or the week after...or something...anything! It's just common courtesy. At this point I had made up my mind not to use him ever again. I don't care how good he is or how fair his prices are....the lack of service had completely left a bad taste in my mouth and I was going to look for someone else who wanted my business. 2 days later I received a text from him asking me if I still wanted the work done. I really wanted to ignore him...but then that would make me sink down to his level. So I responded and told him I had hired someone else. The end. No response from Billy after that. I hope that no one else on here runs into the same problem I did. There is no doubt Billy knows what he is doing and can do a great job....so if you don't mind calling the guy a million times, texting him, and not knowing if he'll keep his commitments by all means schedule him. If you don't want to chase down the service...and you want someone responsive then I suggest you look elsewhere. I did and I was very happy with the service...Austin TV Wall Mount Guy. I am editing my response to include my response to Billy's comment on 10/7/12: First off, I am a female who has limited experience when it comes to tv installations, terminology etc. so when I called him I told him all I knew about what I wanted done. There was no sense of entitlement and I was paying him for all the work I needed done. Secondly, there are certain projects where you really need to see the project in order to be able to quote a price for it. I told him I wanted to have my tv unmounted from the home I was selling and then mounted to a brick fireplace in my new home. The other thing was to have my surround sound speakers removed from the mounts. That was the scope of work. At my new home I wanted the tv mounted and wiring completed. I wanted the receiver, game console, cable tv to be connected. I'm sorry if I did not use the right terminology but I am not sure how else to explain this any other way. And once he arrived he could see what needed to be done. It's not my business to share that his wife was 8 months pregnant and having complications which is why I simply stated that he was at a doctor's appointment. I didn't think it was appropriate to share such personal details on the Internet where anyone would be able to read about it! I was not trying to downplay the importance or severity of the situation...but was trying to be considerate. I also understand that Billy has a right to refuse service...but in this case he is being untruthful about what really happened. How can he refuse service if he didn't even know what I wanted done? He wasn't responding? So that in itself doesn't make sense to me. As I had mentioned before, I understand that we have emergencies. I do hope that his wife and son are doing well. My problem was that he was not responsive and he could have just told me that he was going through a personal problem and would not be able to do the work. I would have understood but instead he led me to think that he was going to schedule it and then I never heard from him. I know he knows what he is doing. It is clear by the number of good reviews on here. But to respond to customer reviews with a far stretch from the truth is not cool. read more

I just moved and had a friend look at my tv mount that Billy provided me. It's a piece of metal that he bent . There is no safety mechanism, it could fall right off if a kid pushed up on it. Please see the photo I added to his site. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The MOST unprofessional thing I have ever seen. Honestly don't see how he has this many good reviews. Be advised ! read more

Billy did an awesome job mounting our new 65" TV! Very fast and professional. We called his service and he arrived the same evening within a couple of hours. Highly recommend, affordable, and local business owner!! read more

Tried to set up service. After pricing email I had 3 subsequent emails completely ignored over the next week. Disappointment by lack of response and just ended up going with another service. read more

This is the first Yelp review I've ever written, but considering Billy did an outstanding job on a TV mount installation today, and then I read a 2-Star review that posted today, I felt it was time. This is the first time I have used Professional TV mounting. We arranged the date and time via email, and Billy did call to tell me he was running late from a previous engagement. But it was worth the wait. The install went smoothly. This is despite the fact that the TV mount I had purchased was not going to look good with the TV I purchased (the brackets were going to stick out) -- so Billy provided his own solution on the spot (much cheaper than buying a new TV mount) and it looks great. And, he gave me excellent advice on what to do for an outside TV installation I am considering. It's only one data point, but I have nothing but positive things to say about his services. read more

He made time for my questions. I was a little bit worried about the reviews on his yelp but he did a stellar job was done quick and made sure everything was secure and tight. Thanks Billy. read more

Billy did great work at a fair price. He knows what he's doing and we are very happy with the results.

Billy was great to work with. He was super-responsive to my text messages and e-mails while scheduling and confirming my appointment. I was very pleased that he was able to come at 7:30pm on a weeknight, after my work day. When Billy arrived, he immediately got to work, using laser levels and balances to make sure that my TV would be perfectly-centered on the wall. He worked quickly, communicating with me along the way to make sure that i got exactly what I wanted. I now have a sleek mounted flat screen (with all of the wires hidden behind the wall). Plus, I had it done for slightly more than the cost of a mount alone. read more

Found Billy on Yelp and got in touch -- he was able to to come mount our TV mere hours after our mount arrived in the mail, and did a fantastic job mounting our TV in the brick above our fireplace. He leveled and centered everything perfectly, and even hung from the mount to show how well it would hold. He also gave us some tips on the quirks of our particular mount so we could keep it perfectly level as it got used. Fantastic mounting job for a great price! read more

While searching for Yelp, I was looking for someone to install my two TVs (1 living room and 1 bedroom), plus my two rear speakers to complete the surround sound system in the living room. After reading a few of Billy's reviews, I decided to email Billy to discuss pricing and what I was looking for. He gave me a very good quote, so I decided to get the work done. He was very professional, prompt, and overall you can tell he is just a hard worker. My two speakers that I wanted mounted via attic were in a tight low pitched roof, and Billy really tried everything to get them exactly where I wanted them. The best part of it was that he was able too! :) (Originally I even had my doubts anyone could mount my back speakers as it honestly looked impossible because of that attic clearance.) Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of work and I would highly recommend! Thanks again Billy! read more

We called Billy because of his stellar yelp reviews. Talk about a hard-working guy who excels at his trade. When we got in touch, he was already at a job on a Saturday night, and came to our place just afterwards- great work ethic, polite, and accomodating. He had a great deal of product knowledge, and was fast and detail-oriented. We would highly recommend Billy and will definitely be asking him to help us with projects in the future! read more

Billy has the best prices and with no hassle. He personally shows up and you feel like you get the attention and needs you want. You don't have to hassle online with a company and you don't have to give all your information to Billy. Billy is very experienced in this field and was able to mount and build my set up exactly how I wanted it. For what I wanted, he charged me $80. No other company came close. Additionally, he responded to my text immediately and He was able to come short notice the same day. All the other companies offered services during the day, but like most people, I have to work 9-5 every day. When I asked Billy his hours, he said late. Sure enough, he should up at 7pm. If not for Billy, I would have only been able to do this during the weekend. I highly recommend Billy if you are looking for someone experienced, knowledgable, and personable, I recommend you give Billy a call! read more

Thank goodness I found Billy. He came out the same day and charged me one fourth of the price I was quoted by "Conn's". He's friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, the installation was quick and I'm 100% confident that my TV could stay on my wall for centuries if it has to. read more

Billy did a great job installing my 55" TV. He was super quick and tidy. Best price around - trust me, I did my research. Thanks Billy.

We recently moved into a new house, and we wanted to mount our TVs the right way and for the setup to look awesome. We hired this company based on the Yelp reviews. Sometimes reviews can't be counted on, but in this case, they were spot on!!! We had the best experience, they did an exceptional job, and best of all, the cost was extremely reasonable. We highly recommend their services! read more

Billy did an excellent job mounting my two televisions. He arrived promptly when he said he would, he was very fast, and very courteous. He was knowledgeable and made suggestions on how to improve the mount and display aesthetics, and he was also very affordable compared to many other vendor's I contacted on pricing for the same job. Great work, Billy! read more

What a great dude. Extremely quick, precise, and knowledgable. Not to mention just a fun guy to talk to. Aside from scheduling conflicts that were inconsequential, he was able to come over and accommodate my work schedule at a significantly cheaper price that Best Buy geek squad would ever offer. Hell, when he was done he hung off the mount with his entire body weight to show me it wasn't going anywhere. I'll be going to him again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

Don't bother calling anyone else -- Billy is the person you want to work with and is an excellent specialist in TV mounting. He was very knowledgable and gave us a ton of options for how to mount the TV and hide the wires, and was not pushy at all about which option to choose. He is also a really nice guy and fun to work with. We will absolutely be hiring him again when we are ready to expand our audio/visual setup! read more

Billy was awesome...he has all the proper tools and he did an amazing job!

Billy was amazing! He hung a 70" TV and 60" TV for us in our new home. He made sure to handle our equipment with care and hid the wires in our walls in the smallest space possible. I'm amazed at how he got so many wires in such a small hole. Billy was quick, friendly and clearly knows his stuff! I would recommend buying HDMI cables for every available slot on your TV before having him come out; make sure they are long enough to reach your equipment. Even if you don't need them all now, you may want them later. We will definitely be recommending Billy to friends and family in the Austin area! read more

Billy is as good as it gets. He mounted a 65 inch tv on a brick wall with all the wires and whatnot stashed away in the closet behind the bricks. I'm a realtor and refer my clients to him. I have not heard any complaints about him personally or his work. He brought more instruments than a brain surgeon and left my living room as he found it. He does beautiful work. read more

A couple years ago, I used Pro TV Mounting to mount a 55 inch in an apartment. Billy works so hard and quick you can tell he's passionate about his craft. After thousands of installations he still treats each one like its his first, carefully measuring and installing to get it just right. Recently we moved and bought a new 65 inch 4K. I got 6 quotes from area installers and again Billy was the cheapest by a long shot. The next closest was twice the amount, most were three times. To my surprise Billy was charging the same amount he did from my first installation. Again he communicated well to arrange a time, worked hard with great attention to detail, and mounted the TV to perfection. He is THE man for the job if you need to mount a tv in the Austin area. Treat him to a Topo Chico to show your appreciation, he loves em. I will use Professional TV mounting for any future TV installations. Great service, unbeatable price. read more

I'm a gadget geek, but needed someone to help wall-mount my HDTV. I did some research and called around alot of other places, most of which were either non-responsive or very expensive. I had resigned myself to paying alot for this, and happened to run across Billy at Professional TV Mounting. I called him and he was able to fit me in on the SAME DAY! Also, his rate was about a third of what everyone else was charging. He showed up on time, got right to work and in no time he had the TV mounted solidly and perfectly. He didn't try to push unnecessary services and hardware, which I thought was great. I'm extremely happy with the work. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and very professional. I had some questions about other stuff and he was able to answer them. Nice guy, too! The price was just what he had quoted. Don't waste your time and money with anyone else. You won't regret hiring this guy and will be pleased with the results. Thanks alot, Billy! read more
