I've been going to the same place for years and have always been skeptical of trying new places. I recently moved near by and decided to try this place out and wow I am glad I did!!! This place is amazing from the decor cleanliness and ambiance to the service everything is superb. From the second installed in I was made to feel at home. I was greeted nicely and was seen right away. I had a gel mani and delux spa pedi the price is very reasonable for the quality work Kim took her time and is a perfectionist she made sure that I loved my nails before completing. I've never have a better massage well worth the extra for the 10 min upgrade and the callus remover actually worked. Ask for lan for a pedi she was great. This will be my new nail place! read more

This was my second time visiting this salon to get my nails filled. The first time I went I had an okay experience getting my nails done by a male manicurist. He did a pretty good job and was fairly polite. This last time I went, I got Tracy. I don't know what is wrong with this lady, maybe she had a bad day or needs a new job, but my experience with her was AWFUL! She was rude, rough on my hands and very bossy. She had a mean and angry look on her face the entire time I was there. She kept complaining that my arms were twisted the wrong way (i've never gotten that before), and told me that the design I wanted for my nails was not possible because it wasn't pretty and noone else ever wants that design so they don't do it. Whhaaat? After I asked her why they wouldn't add black to my nails if I wanted it that way, she told me that she would only do it for an additional $25 because she didn't think it would look good. I didn't argue that one and said nevermind. Can anyone tell me why they insist on having everyone pay the bill before they are even halfway done with the nails?? Why do they vacuum the floor and tell you to move your purse out of the way while the salon is still full of people?? With all that said, my nails came out decent, but it was a very uncomfortable experience. I don't like to go to a salon after work to get more stressed out. For the quality of service they provide, it's not worth the money they charge. There may be other manicurists that are better in that salon, but I think I would rather not go back. read more

Horrible place! Stay away at least for waxing. They share tweezers, scissors, and wax amongst clients. They wax in the main room and there are hairs in the wax. They ask for tip amount in front of the tech; rude! Such a dirty place. They should close it down. Such a shame since I liked the way they shaped my eyebrows. read more

Thank you "yelpers" for helping me finally find a salon that actually has someone waxing eyebrows that knows what they are doing! I went in yesterday for an eyebrow wax, I asked for Tiffany or Tina due to the fantastic reviews they each received. Tiffany waxed my eyebrows and took pride in her work. Finally, I am happy with them! I was getting so discouraged by not being able to find someone that does a decent job, I was willing to pay $20 at a place in downtown Chula Vista. After reading the reviews, I thought I would give this place a try first. Sooooo happy I did and only $8! While I was waiting for Tiffany, I noticed the pedicure I received only a few days prior at another salon, was already chipping! Definately will go back and try the pedicure service. I randomly decided to go here to get my nails done for a friends wedding since it was nearby. The whole time I just felt like they wanted to get more money out of me and that they were upset that I didn't get all these other services. I told them I just wanted a french tip manicure and the lady kept pushing for me to get the gel even though countless times I said no. Then she was like ok how about your eyebrows do you want them waxed? Obviously insinuating that my eyebrows needed a waxing. So I gave in and agreed so she'd stop pushing for other things. While she was doing my eyebrows she asked again for if I wanted waxing elsewhere and I was like no. It was kind of uncomfortable but yea at least she did a good job with my eyebrows. With my nails she did an ok job. They only lasted a few days, just enough to get me through my friends wedding. So I've definietly had better. I may come back but I think they defiinitely need to work on their customer relations. read more

I went here for the second time today to get a gel manicure and spa pedicure. I usually do my nails myself because im super picky! The nail technicians were both very nice! But I dont think the manicurist did a good job with my nails. I was grossed out because when jen finished my manicure, there were three tiny black hairs on my nail. I asked her to fix it and she did. But how did those hairs get there in the first place? Because I never touched anything. I am not satisfied with my gel manicure because it wasnt a neat job. The gel was put on too thick and the gel looks lumpy and isnt shiny. Ive been giving myself gel maniciures for years now and I think i do a way cleaner job. Also, the gel shouldnt touch the skin. I know for sure these wont last as long because when it grows out, the parts that touch the skin will grow out and snag on stuff, therefore causing it to lift :( its so nice to be able to treat yourself! But I guess ill stick to doing it myself. Tip: make sure theres no gel polish on your skin! read more

I was very disappointed. I stopped by last Thursday to get a pedicure for a wedding and the lady cut my cuticle making me bleed. I never had anyone cut my skin and make me bleed. I asked to make sure their stuff is sanitized because if I get a fungus or anything Its going down. I will never come here again. I do not recommend this place...be aware!!! read more

i have visited professionail many times and have been burned 3 times after getting a wax. The burns have been very painful and have taken a while to heal. now you may be wondering why i have returned multiple times to get my brows and lip done. I have very sensitive skin so I know that I am prone to burns so each time I go I tell the employees that I have gotten burns so to be careful. Nonetheless they continue to burn me and when they notice it they say nothing and just send me on my way. i can tell when i have been burned and i ask the ladies if they see anything and they say no nothing at all. I went to get my lip done today and surprise surprise i was burned yet again. I will never go back to get any waxing done here ever again. read more

Went in for acrylic full set with gel french on top. Ended up getting charged for acrylic solar and extra. Walked out for $57. I was not impressed with my experience at this nail salon. First, it's really expensive. 18 for a pedicure and 27 for a gel manicure. The employees are not friendly and I did not feel welcomed in their salon. My friend and I were not satisfied with our nails because they were crooked and the polish was not applied accurately. For that price I expect friendly service and to get exactly what I'm paying for, not dissatisfied and wishing I went somewhere else. read more

Loyal customer for 12 years. Service is good and very clean. But front desk staff is rude and they do not honor appointments. Walk-ins get taken ahead of you. I wrote a letter to the owner as well. DO NOT LET ANYONE WAX, YOU BESIDES TIFFANY. The last time some one else did, they tore my skin and I was bleeding, still charged full ppice for the service and never given a free or discount for sevice in the future. I've come to this salon many times and almost each time I'm unsatisfied with their customer service. I only come here because I know they use clean tools for the nails, the prices are a bit better than other places, and my sisters prefer this salon. The last time I went I was pressured into choosing a color before I even reached the color counter they have. I ended up choosing a color I did not like just so they would stop asking me "which color?" They were also trying to rush my mani/pedi despite the fact that they were not busy at all(early afternoon on a Thursday). On another visit, I chose a color but the nail tech decided that it wasn't a pretty color so she went ahead and changed it....another time a different nail tech put a flower design on one nail and when she went to put the design on the other hand she wasn't paying attention(bc she was talking to someone else) and put the design on a different finger leaving my nails looking uneven.... Going to a nail salon is supposed to be a relaxing experience but coming here just stresses me out. read more

I walked in today to get my nails done. I wanted a mani/pedi no gel . I could tell the technician was already annoyed and not in a great mood . She kept asking me why I didn't want gel. I paid extra for callus remover and she probably spend 10 seconds using the callus remover . I asked her if she could scrub them a little longer because I paid extra for it and she said " I am not done " but she never scrubbed them after that. My pedi took about 50 mins and then she did my manicure . She started to apply the nail polish and it was probably the worst paint job I've had . My nails were lumpy, had bubbles and were so far away from my cuticles that my nails looked grown out. When I told her that my nails had bubbles and were lumpy she started yelling and speaking badly about to the other technicians in there language . She didn't once offer to fix them or apologize . She got up and started helping someone else . I had to ask the girl in the front if someone could help me . At this point I had been there for over 2 hours . I asked for a refund and if I could just leave . I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect from a nail technician. I was told I could not get a refund but someone else could fix my nails . Luckily she did a way better job but I will never go back to this nail salon. I went to this nail salon when I was in a new area because I needed my gel fixed asap and didn't want to drive to the one I normally go to. I am SO glad that I went in here! First of all, they have the largest selection of gel colors of any salon I've ever been. Over 100 colors, so awesome. I went to a few different people the first few times for my gel Mani. Until Mai did my gel Mani. She is by far, the best nail tech in there! She takes her time and does it RIGHT. My gel lasts around 2 weeks when I go to her. Also, Mr. Lee is the best at pedis. Make sure you get the sea salt with him. Man hands + sea salt massage = THE BOMB. Tina is the best at what she does. She does my eye brow threading and my brazillion wax. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that it's always busy. So if you want specific technicians, make an appointment! I'm guessing they are always busy because they are so good at what they do! So it doesn't really bother me! I will be so sad if I ever have to move and try and find a salon as good as this one! read more

I was happy with her besides her rushing all the time to get to the next client. I walked in without an appointment recently and the front desk attendant told me that Tina was about a 20min wait and I was in a big hurry, so I asked if anyone else is available and they recommended Tiffany. I was so happy and she was very friendly and i didn't feel that she was rushing or trying to hurry me out of the chair. The next time I went in Tina was busy so I asked for Tiffany and again same great experience. I went in the following week and Tina was available, so she helped me. She (Tina) was so bothered like a crazed greedy women about me going to Tiffany. She was rude and was upset that I had gone to Tiffany. She did an awful job on my eyebrows. I left with an upset stomache from the way she had reacted. After that incident I never have gone back to Tina and never will! She is a fake and a greedy mean women.
