He has really good pricing even…read morewith today's economy, if your car fails smog he will charge you really low, I brought on my first time a mustang that I did not knew it had BBK1 headers and he started doing the smog and found them out and told me why it would fail and he only charged me 10$ that's crazy other shops would not care and charge me 80$ like advance smog on San Pablo ("TRASH SMOG SHOP") . Well then he guided me and showed me all the websites that I can search and look for the headers that I had in my car and see if those are legal in CA, well after a few days I did my search and brought the part number of the headers and I was able to pass smog clean and he only charged me 65 or something pretty affordable. And he talked to me really good and gave me a lot of knowledge. Now a few months later I when back with another car. Pumm he started to check the codes and stuff like that and found out that I had like a few codes that the machine was not able to read because the battery had been disconnected before, he gave me a paper with instructions and like how long should I drive it, how to drive etc etc so all the sensor or like monitors would start ready, after I drove it for like an hour I came back and pumm the car did passed smog, we had another really great conversation he was giving me again more advices on what to do with my life etc etc. I less worlds I really recommend this smog shop and I hope he gets a lot of more clients, he already has me, I will try to refer him to my family members and friends. I needed my car diagnosed and fixed today, Accutech came to the rescue. I was on the phone with Irma, she was a pleasure to speak with while sorting out what I needed done. She confirmed they could diagnose the car and fix it today if I brought it in within the next few hours. I brought the car in around 9am, they confirmed my suspicion on what needed to be done, they got the part delivered to them by 1030am, then started working on the car and I picked it up by 2pm. They go to lunch from 12:30-1:30 (I think) so I'm assuming the car was done prior to lunch and they just wrapped up after they got back from lunch. The price for the repair was super reasonable! Compared to other shop quotes, this was a no brainer. The shop has been family owned for the past 30 years. They've gained a new customer(s) out of my wife and I. Before going in for the first time, I called them to see if they had any same day availability for a smog check and I also read through both recent Google and Yelp reviews and all were positive so I gave this place a shot. And I'm glad I did! I called in around 2:45pm and made an appointment for 3:30pm that same day. I found the location with ease and pulled up to the parking lot. That only thing I noticed was that almost all of the parking spots were taken in their lot, but I did manage to find one lucky spot right in front of the entrance. This Pinole area seems relatively safe and I didn't feel anxious leaving my car parked outside. When I went in, I was instantly greeted with a smile and the place was very tidy and clean. Big windows with healthy looking plants all around. I checked in at the counter, filled out a form since it was my first time, and then sat in the waiting area. I was quoted about 20-30mins and my car ended up being ready definitely within 20mins. It was super quick. I checked out at the counter and chatted with the front desk person a bit about next steps with my smog check and car registration renewal. She was super friendly and informative.
