Just got a new to me 1994 Bronco that pretty much was leaking from every spot possible. Made an appointment and dropped it to get checked out and they came through. Price to get all the work done seems like a good price to me because they got the lifts and the knowledge. No more oil spots in the driveway. I took my car in after having some...trouble with the dealer. If it matters, I have a 2024 EV Equinox. I was impressed with the level of care, respect, and responsiveness of Mike and the other staff I interacted with. Mike took me on a short drive in my car so that he could get an understanding of what my issue was, then he suggested what he suspected was the problem and proposed a solution. In this case, it was just an alignment issue. When I picked up the vehicle, it ran smoothly. His team did a great job in addressing the issue and he showed me the report and explained what they did. Been a customer at this shop for over 8 years it took a while before I realized this shop was definitely a piece of Shit! Always fixed the problem but never reset the engine light so it stayed on even when repairs were done. I would ask about it but Mike would tell me that the car was safe. My 2012 E350 was due for a B service I was charged for air filter and oil change but what they did was clean the filter and didn't even change the oil. I drove the car out of state and my engine light came on low on oil. Went to the Mercedes Benz Dealership in Oklahoma and they told me what was done. I also have a 2006 SL 500 that needed valve cover gaskets all they did was tighten up the valve cover bolts when I picked up the car my engine light came on in their parking lot and told me my transmission had a problem. At this point I was done! Went to the Mercedes Dealership and they showed me the old gasket and they looked horrible! The car only has 90,000 miles on it. So I will never patronize this place ever again. They seem to really nice and professional but that's a disingenuous mask to suck you in. Horrible place of Business! Beware. read more

I am highly dissatisfied. I brought my car in for a honest job. They said I had an engine leak. Paid them $800.00 and later own my engine was blown. Guy named Mike said he was away so it wasn't his fault. If your technician isn't qualified then why is he working on my car without your supervision? Car was in the shop for two weeks and didn't offer me a loaner or no type of reimbursement. Told them I didn't want no problems with my car since it was in the shop for two weeks. I get my car back and they did a very unsatisfactory job. Didn't even wash my car after sitting and collecting dust. They didn't check my starter before they returned it and my car died again. Furthermore they never fixed my leak because my car is still leaking. They don't deserve your service. Finally he had the gall to recommend me to someone else. The nerve of these people. My 2016 Lexus CT200h would blow air full blast, but it wasn't cold. Most likely time for an AC recharge. I received several replies to my inquiries, and also from the Yelp Project service. The difference in pricing among shops is astounding. I chose Letcher due to excellent reviews, a professionally written estimate, which was also the most competitive price. He said it was a 2 hour service for diagnostics and recharge. My battery was dead, left a door slightly ajar for a few days. I called, I'm getting a jump and will be there ASAP. The receptionist was like no worries, whenever you arrive. I was provided my estimate, and the process explained. Maybe 30 minutes later Mike told me the car tests fine, a recharge is all that is needed. The car was finished well ahead of the 2 hours. Now that it's December, I have AC. My total was as quoted, except for an early Xmas gift, a 15% off first time customer discount . You can't beat that. I had a top notch experience and would not hesitate to bring my 2005 Sienna here for service too. read more

I don't know if I can express how grateful I am for Mike's work! His customer service goes above and beyond. My car started to slip near Santana Row (Santa Clara County) end of January. When I stopped and assessed my car, I saw the transmission fluid leaking out. I had it towed to Stevens Creek where they told me I caused damage to my car when I had not done nothing. Even when the car was being placed on tow truck the fluid continued to seep out. The dealership called me the next day as my car was towed after hours to say they received it. In the late afternoon, I got a call and the documents estimating me close to $10k for parts and labor; kinda ridiculous for a car that just turned 4 years old. On top of hearing that the service advisor, blamed me for the issue saying I caused the "damage" and asked if I called my insurance. Obviously, I needed a second opinion because I literally was just driving and the slipping started. My family has gone to Mike's shop for a long time so I gave him a call. He was booked out for 2 weeks, but I waited it out for an appointment. This made me feel secure that this is the spot to bring your car in when it's hard to get an appointment. So my car was towed from Alameda County to Contra Costa County (I wanted to go to a trustworthy shop). Mike was quick with the inspection. He called me less than an hour after it was dropped off and recommended to take to dealership due to it being a warranty issue and thought it should be assessed by them. Lo and behold, it was under warranty! Mike is very knowledgeable and was very prompt in communication. In all my encounters with Mike, he listened, was respectful, and provided options. Can't say that with dealership advisors. It was very refreshing! Also, the atmosphere of the shop was welcoming...makes you feel like you're at home. Highly recommend! Though I'm far, I'm now going to be seeing Mike for my car needs. I don't care if I'm right next to a dealership, I would still get my car towed here. While I was waiting to speak to Mike, I spoke to a customer of his for 25 years. Also, there is an area filled with thank you cards and words of praise from customers.
