My car needed a safety inspection to renew the registration. Fahrenheit was listed on the CARB(California Auto Repair Bureau) website as certified shop for this service. I called them for a quote and it was very reasonable compared to several quotes that I got. I made an appointment for next day, and when I got there, I didn't have to wait long before they started on the car. About an hour later, my car was ready for pick up. Felix was really nice and we chatted about the history of the car. He indicated that the car passed but informed me where the car needed some attention, which I appreciated. These guys are people who care about their customers and do very very good works. On the day before yesterday (Monday May 5), I accidentally ran my right front tire over a sharp (5 star sharp) rock, and while the tire could keep running with it for a little, the tire was going to hell. We managed to get there and they checked the tire ("can't be fixed") and found a tire that could be used on my car, so it got put on, saving me a heckuva lot of time waiting to get/find a tire and have it brought in. They know their stuff and are friendly and helpful. Any time I need to get tires fixed, I know EXACTLY where to go. read more

LATE UPDATE - I meant to change/update my review last year. So here goes: I thought this business was good until my brakes continued to scrape and squeal after two weeks of driving. I took my car to a different mechanic and found that my "new rotors" and "new brakes" that were supposed to be installed by Fahrenheit were not new at all! Everything was old!!! After a couple minutes, I could tell either the 5 stars were sponsored or something. Brian had complete disregard for my time. Went twice and nothing was done to my car. Even asked me to keep my car overnight Afterwards, I called this location but nobody was answering. Decided to drive by and inquire and we'll enough he squeezed me in the next day estimating 2 hours. Went the next day and was out in an hour or so! Super honest, straight forward and even gave me the suggestion to make copies of my documents since the DMV lost their previous customers paperwork Overall: I'd recommend going to this local shop! Came for spark plugs for preventative maintenance and and left with a check engine light. I have had my car for 3 years and never had a check engine light. As I was walking up to my car the mechanic said "yea its all done, I even cleaned your maf sensors." Mind you I never asked for that and went to start up my car and noticed there was a check engine light. He runs the code and it happens to be codes for the maf sensors. He then says he will take off the stuff he took off to get to spark plugs. While doing that he dropped bolts that hold together my engine cover. He was applying so much force trying to get the screws out that the plastic was flexing and afterwords noticed that the plastic around the screws were now cracked. He also made it to where the screw wouldnt come out due to the damage he made. I will never go back here. Beware read more

I ask him if he can fit me in for an alignment and that Jeff sent me, he smiles and nods and says "let's do it.". da Service: The shop has four stations, 3 w/ high quality lifts, is clean and organized. I hung out w/ him and talked it up while he was working - I really dig being able to see under the truck on a lift, it's a different perspective than on a jack in my own garage. While this spot is relatively new, Felix has been a technician around the neighborhood for 15+ years and his knowledge and confidence showed. He's got updated diagnostic equipment and had me in/out in 25 minutes. Jorge is the absolute BEST mechanic I've ever come across! It started back in February when my car died as I was on the freeway driving to work. Thankfully, I hadn't gotten too far from home when it happened so I was still in the area. It was a Sunday at 7am when this happened so I knew it was gonna be impossible to find a mechanic that was open. I tried looking for one anyway. I googled for hours and around 11am Jorge answered his phone. He told me if I got the parts he could do the job. I dropped my car off at 1:30/2pm and he was done by 4pm. Fast forward to June...out of nowhere my car wouldn't go passed 40 MPH without jerking really hard (misfiring). I took it to Jorge. He told me to leave it and he'll call me when he figures out what was wrong. I began walking down the street thinking he wouldn't call me until the following morning, at least, especially since it was around 4pm when I dropped my car off. 15 mins into my walk my phone rang. Needless to say it was Jorge Not only did he find the problem but he fixed it! At that point, I couldn't have been more excited and impressed with his work. Lastly, 2 weeks ago my headlight went out so I needed the bulb replaced. Who did I call?? That's right! Jorge! He fixed it in less than 5 mins and told me not to worry about it when I asked how much. I couldn't not give him something. I offered to buy him beer, he said he doesn't drink beer. He said he'll take coconut water. Coconut water it was! He's fast, sufficient and friendly. I always just walked in, no appointment. He knows his stuff and he's not the mechanic that tries to get over on u. Being that I'm a female, I was a little worried about that happening but it didn't. I even asked about my brakes and he could've easily said yes, get them fixed. Instead he said I definitely need rotors but my brakes are 40% good so just wait to replace everything at once.
