I got a dead batter and asked that they look at this, and they fought tooth and nail; "we didn't touch your battery." So J&E was recommended and I am so glad they were. Short version: At first, it appeared my alternator was intermittently not working correctly. $1700 later and I still got 3 dead batteries over the following weekend. Turns out, the 2024 Odyssey battery had a dead cell. Warranty replaced for free, and the Truck is back in service. I can't recommend J&E higher, and they are now my new auto shop for life!

Also, not an assumption, when I went to retrieve something from my Vehiclea because he took an extra week to do the work, I saw various paraphernalia spread across his garage and on his desk from meth pipes and mirrors with white residue to what looked like what I can only assume was a rig set up (I had to google that one). The original reason for bringing him my car was a check engine light but every time he would take extra days and tell me I needed other parts. I paid him for struts, ball joints, control arm, brakes, most of which I was told at the alignment shop was improperly installed and still had excessive play and the brakes continued to squeak. I communicated these issues with the Mechanic and he stated he would replace the struts without charging me labor, I only had to pay for the difference of the parts. He told me that I purchased master pro and needed to have the better Monroe parts. He wanted to do this to make up for his previous mistakes. His idea. his offer. I reluctantly agreed because I didn't want to pay for the same thing twice. Turned out I had originally purchased the better parts anyway. When I went away for a week on vacation, I brought him my car to do the work, he was supposed to be done the following Friday. Every day I called to check, he said he was "just starting". When I returned from the airport expecting my car to be finished and needing it for work the next day (already being two days late), he would not answer my calls or texts. I had to drive to his shop at midnight only to find him and a bunch of tweekers in the garage with my car on a lift, work still not complete. He promised to have my car the next day. When I returned from work and contacted him to get my car, he STILL had not started the work! I was beyond angry with his business ethics and performance. When I confronted him, he played the victim and said he would just return my car without the work being done and let me take it somewhere else. Meanwhile he drove my vehicle for a week, used 3/4 a tank of gas and took things from my car. Trivial items but still mine. He refused to confront me in the end, dropped off my car, leaving the keys on the floor board and essentially ran with his tail tucked between his legs. This is all work related... aside from all that. He also made repeated passes at me, over shared his personal life on multiple occasions and even forcibly pulled me in for a hug when I was angry with him. Total creep, tweaker and a joke of a mechanic. There really should be zero stars on here.

My car was making weird sounds and so much vibrations it was scary. He couldn't show me what was the reason because the battery was shot. He couldn't get the reader...I said the reader says - low battery I had to pay half the battery LOL I had to ask several times for proof what was done. Spent almost 5 to 6 hours there and then had to pick up next day..my fiancé went and he still had to ask for final paperwork. In total the car was in the shop 44 instead to my disappointment. Contributing factors included Vinfast's transitioning to this new support model and potentially supply chain issues, since parts are coming from Vietnam. But to the shop's scope of responsibility, there needs to be improvement in the following areas: customer communication, service intake, quality assurance testing and customer handoff. For Customer Communication - they need to be proactive, I found myself calling for updates instead of being proactively updated. Many times when I call the tech is not available. Service Intake - I scheduled an initial appointment only to be told I should drop the car in the morning instead of the afternoon, which was scheduled by RepairWise (the appointment vendor they use) Qualify Assurance Testing: I drove off and found some functions are not working. They did a software update and took 45 days. There should have been thorough testing. Customer Hand Off - they should have reviewed what was done to the car and the features of the new update.
