Great customer service! Fast and good price! Definitely coming back for out vehicles.

Service was fast and easy to handle! If you are looking for a quick smog this is the place to go! They have a $30 off coupon on their website as well! (Not sure if it expires) . So the price was slightly lower than most other places. read more

This place is wonderful if you need a smog check done, very professional, offers a coupon online and has a hard working crew. I was recommended by a family member and glad I went. read more

I've been to this place to smog check my vehicles a few times. Every time I come here, the service has always been very good. The owner/operator, William, is alway prompt, courteous and professional. The price is very comparable and reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you need to get a star certified smog done. One thing that's hard to notice is the "star certified" sign for the business as it doesn't have a big flag in front saying such but it's on the window. 5 stars! read more

Advanced Smog - Smog checking station. Star certified. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Richmond, California

Five star service smog and repair shop. Fast, convenient and professional. Will is made getting a smog check easy and affordable.

I've been coming to Advanced Smog for years. He does all our car tune ups, brake changes, oil changes and does it all for a great price! Most recently he found a head gasket leak that was missed by the Audi dealership, saved me thousands of bucks!! I highly recommend this spot, super fast and friendly service! read more

Always friendly and quick! Been here twice for smog checks for my cars. It's a small shop and the guys are knowledgeable and easy to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

Look. Having to get the car smogged sucks. So when I went down the street to this other smog place that shall remain nameless, it was annoying that no one was able to help the three people ahead of me in line. So I left and went two blocks and found this place. It's teeny tiny. They are so fast and it seemed so inexpensive. Also the guys that run the shop are super nice. This is now my smog place! read more

I brought my car in to see if an automotive tech was able to do some work. It was fairly a simple task which was to take off the skid plate. The tech told me to "do it myself since its hella easy." I responded to the guy that I didnt have the correct tools. He abruptly responded with "you have all the tools right there, you have the jack." I even offered him $100 just to take off my skid plate and refused. Even a simple task cannot be done by the tech at this shop. Horrible read more

When trying to call and ask for assistance on getting some monitors read From cars computer for state reff. the person on the phone just yelled at me stating that I need to do one thing although I was told to bring it to smog check place by the state referee. Sounds like he'd rather just push the job to someone else don't want to work in my opinion guess I'll find some place else. L read more

Just did the smog check for my 2003 car. William was quick on the job - 15 minutes and it was done. The coupon price of $65 is fairly reasonable. read more

Place was easy to find and not busy at all on a Saturday morning. I was in & out of there in 5 min, literally! The guy was friendly and soft spoken. He took my car and said everything was good. There's nothing really much to it than that. Fast and easy smog check! read more

I am very impressed with Advanced Smog. I find their prices very competitive, their personal very courteous, and their service very satisfactory. read more

Advanced shop is certainly the truth. They quoted me one price and then charged me less. Not to mention the mechanic went above and beyond to rotate my wheels and change the oil. He even ordered a new part in advance. I will gladly return to Advanced Smog again and again. read more

These guys are $58 with coupon for smog but they will hold you up on the spot with the right price! And they do brakes and oil changes...

Great service. Fast, reliable, and competent employee. Good customer service as well. The gentleman was professional and personable. He managed all of the people there, as they were busy but still let me know he could do all of us prior to closing. I would definitely recommend them. I mean, who can ignore the 1 Love sign on the door. read more

Great service, friendly technicians. Clean place. Appreciated the explanation of what and how it is being done. Very straightforward. Thank you. read more

So easy! So convenient. Thanks you guys! It was about $60 to get it done, but I think they have coupons out, too, which I didn't have, so I think you can get a better deal. I came in during my lunch break on a weekday and it only took about 15-20 min. read more

Terrible service. Unpleasant employees. My car is old.... Very old... I've passed smog tests every year. But now my check engine light is on. It turns on and off and my mechanic has not found any reason why it's doing that. I usually get my smog tested in Oakland near work but I'm off today and went to this station near my house. They wouldn't even check my smog because of the light. I drove around the block and the light turned off. Brought it back and they denied my business. Told me to get it fixed. Get what fixed? They're not professionals so they have no idea what they're talking about. I'll be going to my usual place and I recommend you steer clear of these shmucks as well. read more

Great place to get you car smoged. No appointment needed. Everytime I come here (and I've been here several times) the staff is cool and quick. In and out like the burgers! Make sure you look for that coupon in the mail, save yourself a few dollars! Loyal customer for sure right here! read more

Advanced Smog - Advanced Smog taking care of that routine smog check the Caddy needs! - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Richmond, California

Was driving around looking for a STAR Certified smog check station. Came across this place. The guy was friendly. Told me $70 and that's a coupon price. Really? I didn't have any coupon. Didn't want to drive around. So okay. Do it. There were no customers. It was done in a flash! Maybe it's not cheap. But it was fast and friendly. read more

Polite, quick service. They would not let me use a coupon from down the street in El Cerrito but that was ok -- it was worth the extra $10 (it was still reasonable) the other guys were rude. read more

Drove in without an appointment at 10am on a Monday (MLK holiday) and was taken immediately - it only took 10 minutes, and the mechanic was very nice. Used a Yelp special which was not the lowest price I saw on the web but not the highest either, and the extra $10 or so was worth it. read more

Not too shabby! They got right to it. Are they the smiling type? No...but you can tell it's because they want to get started quick. They keep the place clean which really caught my eye because...well...I would have excused them because it's a smog place haha. OH!! And they got free candy ;) licorice too. read more

This is a little shop that will help you with your vehicle with excellent service. Will is a great mechanic! Very trustworthy.

Great place for a smog check, especially if you own an older vehicle.

I came here and the guy was super helpful . I need a star certificate so he couldn't do it but definitely pointed me in the right direction. I did however bring in a car that didn't need the star certificate and it was quick and easy . Same guy very helpful I wish would have gotten his name read more

Polite fast service. No complaints here. My wife and I both got our cars smog tested after moving to CA from PA. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at advanced smog. The place is very easy to find, being at a corner, near Catahoula Café in case you need to wait. I however, did not have to wait since there was no one else but me. The operator gives great directions so you'll never be confused. He was clear, patient and polite. The whole thing was over very quickly and the best part was that I found their coupon online and got $20 taken off the bill! read more
