This was the best, fastest smog check I have ever had. The price was super reasonable and the gentleman was very friendly. You even get to retest for $10 if you fail. I'm so glad I was recommended to El Amigo Smog. It was extremely clean and convenient. read more

Great costumer service called about my daughter taking in her car to pass smog they gave a great price and call me back to let me know that the car passed!! Definitely recommend!! read more

Cool close to the house great services ,fast professional cost can go down a little or coupon

This business owner knows if your car will fail the test before you start but won't say anything to scam your money out of you. There's a lot better smog locations not far from this one that have better terms and pricing and workers with more integrity. Terrible value read more

My experience at El Amigo smog shop was great. I will return to this place of business again thanks for your service read more

Great small business place to get your vehicle smoked. Support small business in your community.

Came here yesterday, very respectful and efficient. Fair price Will be coming here again read more

Scam arrest DO NOT GET SMOG here very illegal business he will fail your car even if it's ready for smog so you have to pay again the next time you come DO NOT GO HERE REPORT HIM TO DMV illegal business read more

The worker here will rather scam you to make $30 more than take care of the customer. Terrible service, there are much better smog locations at better prices and terms than here. The worker doesn't seem to care about the customer at all, just there to take advantage. read more

Outstanding service, easy, fast and efficient. It is conveniently located and has competitive prices!

Great service. Honest and very professional guy! Will definitely recommend and be back next week to bring another one of my cars!

I pulled up during the week in the morning there was nobody in line. The gentleman working explained what would be done and how long it takes and I sat down and waited. The service was quick and easy! And I got a free air freshener for doing a review :) read more

Really good customer service, I guess most of these entitled pricks dont have the money and the brains to understand that when you bring the vehicle to a place like this the mechanics are not miracle workers if your driving a bucket take it to a real mechanic shop or even better take it to the scrap yard and get a new car stop blaming the workers for your miserable life that honestly you deserve. read more

Charges you extra for a retest and only gives you 14 days, take your car to Smog Express Richmond they give a free retest and a month to do it. Worker at el amigo not helpful or nice at all either - STAY AWAY read more

I went to El Amigo Smog about a month ago... hella forgot to do their review. But, I had a great experience! I called before I went in to make sure it wasn't busy. When I went in it was super quick and the gentleman who helped was really friendly. Highly recommend for good price and fast service :) read more

Very good customer service, The shop is very clean and the workers are very fast and nice. Great smog shop all around.

In and out within 10 minutes. Drove in today around 8:15a with coffee and mentally prepared to wait about 30-45 mins since that was my previous experience with my other car, but was very surprised when he told me that it'll only take 10 mins. I was back on the road by 8:30a. $50 for a smog check was probably the deal of the year... Lol I paid around $70 for a smog check and waited about an hour and a half for the entire process in El Cerrito when I drove an older Acura TL. read more

Fast, efficient, and nice guy. Hidden but overall very professional. Might be hard to park, but in my experience, only ten minutes. Will be going back read more

The smog technician, Hugo Acosta, was very rude and unprofessional. My cath converter previously stolen was correctly replaced by my car dealer but Hugo claimed that the car dealer did not replace the cath converter. So I went back to the car dealer and told them what Hugo told me. I was so embarassed at the car dealership when they lifted the car and showed the right parts installed. When I returned to Hugo, he would not even look at the parts and picture of the converter. He said he could not test the car and told me to go to the State instaed. After paying $60, he would not do a retest. I went to another smog test center and my car passed. I would not recommend anyone coming to this smog test center, ever! read more

My go to smog shop! Customer service is great and I've always been in and out quickly and without a problem.

Pretty sure I got scammed. I had to get a re test done. Everytime I went back for the re test he ssid the machine is broken. I'm pretty sure he wouldnt be there working if the only machine they got wasnt working. So pretty sure he thinks I'm dumb or something. So if you are gonna need a re test dont hold your breathe. Kinda fucked up to be honest. Now I have to pay another 80 bucks somewhere to get a smog done. Not a very honest business. Probably great for people who knows they are gonna pass it first go. Otherwise your just giving them your hard earned cash. read more

Fast and speedy service, the inspector was very professional, I was in and out of there with in 10 mins. I payed $47.25 beats anyone else around the area read more

El Amigo Smog - It's 39.99 not 29.99 - Smog Check Stations Near Me - San Pablo, California

Great and fast service! Honest guy, would definitely recommend this shop. Also Best price around for smog check.

Lousy service. I had the engine light on, but didn't know that if an engine light is on it will always fail smog. Nevertheless, the guy there still did the smog check knowing that it was going to fail. My mechanic that fixed the engine light told me that any honest smog check place would of not tested the vehicle--not this place. On top of it all I still paid $55 with a fail. Even though they offer a retest a bit cheaper I did not go back--I rather paid full price at a honest smog check place then go back here ever again! read more

This is my third time coming to this smog station and I have never been disappointed with the service and friendliness. I will be back again next time I need a smog! Thanks read more

Excellent customer service and a very clean location to get your vehicle smog check.

Worst place ever dude did my smog even tho my check engine light was on truck did not pass and he closed my hood with out the pins being placed on my vehicle so when i drove off my hood popped open while im driving very dangerous poor service i would've liked to talked to the real boss read more

New shop, competitive pricing. I called all other smog shops in the area on a Saturday morning. The guy was professional, friendly, and had the best price (out the door). No appointment we drove in and with only one person ahead of us we were in and out quick. Passed the inspection and smog and he submitted it electronicly and we were on our way. Good service good price, hopefully will be nearly the same experience next time (2 years) from now. Thanks! read more
