All of the food was delicious. The service was quick and accurate. The Thai iced tea was presented in a unique way. Nice modern and clean cone throughout. Definitely a spot you'd want to go to for a casual night out.
We came here on an early Sunday evening to celebrate a friends birthday dinner. Parking can be a little hectic since it's located on a busy main road, but it's well worth the effort. This feels like a warm, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Thai food. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. We accidentally ordered the wrong Tom Yum soup (we didn't realize there were two versions), and our waitress went above and beyond by happily switching it to the creamy one. I can't say enough good things about the food. To start, I absolutely loved my plum drink. Some of the highlights of our meal were the papaya salad and mango salad--both were perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. The steamed chili lime branzino was incredibly tender, with a beautiful balance of lemongrass and fresh herbs that, for a moment, brought me right back to the street food in Chiang Mai. The BBQ pork jowl over rice was another pleasant surprise--juicy, flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and crispiness. By the end of the meal we were completely full, but there's no such thing as skipping dessert at a great Thai restaurant. We ordered the Bi Go Moi with taro ice cream, and it was the perfect ending. If you're a fan of purple sticky rice and rich coconut milk, this dessert is an absolute must. The taro ice cream paired beautifully with it and really hit the spot. We truly enjoyed every part of the experience--from the delicious food and warm hospitality to the wonderful company and laughter that made for a memorable birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back!
Overall tasty staples you'd expect from a Thai restaurant! Came here for a weekday dinner with a friend and ordered: - Lychee thai iced tea (5/5) - Taro fritters (4/5) - Rock shrimp (3.5/5 with the sauce) - Shrimp panang curry (4/5) - Chicken pad thai (4/5) - Mango sticky rice (4/5 but mango was small since its seasonal!) The ambiance of Prode is nice, great for a hangout with friends or family. Service was also very attentive. Overall, definitely give Prode a visit if you're in the neighborhood. You can expect some good food, nice service and overall great vibes.
Came here for lunch special. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and fries for appetizer. Durnken noodle was a comfortable portion size. It was pretty good overall on flavor. A bit too much bell peppers for my liking but the mild spicy was just right. I would definitely come back again and try their other dishes.service was very friendly and fast. Environment was nicely renovated and modern.
Back here a year later for Valentine's dinner with family and nothing short of exceptional from beginning to end. Easily the best Thai food in the entire Bayside area. Everything is amazingly authentic. I strongly recommend you to check this place out.
Real quiet and nice Music nice jazzy feel Server was really nice drink were made very swiftly
I came here for dinner with my family and gf. We didn't have to wait long. It feels like an upscale spot so the ambience is nice. The service was fast. we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. The staff were super friendly. Everything looked great when it arrived. Fired Calamari- 8/10 There was a lot. There was enough to go around. It was crispy and the calamari flavor was good. My parents loved the dipping sauce . Crispy dumpling - 5/10 There was four total. The dumpling felt kinda greasy so we had trouble finishing. Taste wise it was good reminded me of deep friend Tyson chicken nugget. Kao shao noodles - 8/10 The noodles were bigger than expected. The soup was good it was a sweet flavor. The noodle texture was great firm and chewy. The nooodles soaked up the soup quick so it got a bit soggy but i liked that too. The beef was tender and there an abundance of it. i would recommend getting this if you want something hearty and warm for the winter time. Curry beef rice- 5/10 Nothing too special here just curry and beef. The beef was tender and the potatoes were great. There was so much i had trouble finishing it. Grilled squid - 5/10 They give you the whole squid. It was pretty good but i wish there was more grill flavor. it came out so quick we are suspicious that it may not have been freshly grilled. The dipping sauce for this was great tho! Mango sticky rice - 5/10 it was a decent amount. it was great to eat this after all the heavy stuff. Nothing really stood out about jt . Overall: I'd recommend this place for people in the area that want thai food. It's a bit expensive so i would get it only for special occasions. It's a good spot for a cute date night .
Full flavored dishes with great wok-hei and stellar service with an upscale yet cozy vibe! The pad see ew and pineapple fried rice were on the smaller side, but the flavors and textures were absolutely 10/10. Loved the fried fish-- got both the mango and the basil variations, each having their own approach in flavor. I don't have much to say except that you should come eat here! Everything about this place feels a step above, so it could be a great celebration spot or date night spot for sure.
Food was delicious, they had some interesting takes on traditional dishes. We ordered the rock shrimp, panang curry and drunken udon noodles with pork belly. Highly recommend. Restaurant is very new and modern looking and welcoming. The music is modern music with a bossa nova take. Highly recommend.
A new Thai restaurant right on Northern Blvd in Little Neck! The place is very modern with a nice bar table. There is no parking lot but I found residential parking right behind the place. We came shortly after it opened on a Saturday and got the lunch special which includes an appetizer and an entree with choice of meat for a reasonable price. I was surprised their lunch special extends from the weekdays to the weekends. Since I came with a group and we all got the lunch special, I was able to try all of the appetizers and a variety of the entrees. The only thing is that the fries on the lunch special is not their regular shake Fries that is very uniquely seasoned with hints of lime and spices and a spicy mayo sauce. The flavor reminds me of the Takis chips. The spring roll was my least favorite as it tasted just like the ones at Chinese take out if not a little better. The chive pancake is good if you like the strong chive flavor. The chicken wings is the best choice as you can never go wrong with chicken wings! For entrees, I got to try the pad see ew, drunken noodle, Penang curry and spicy basil fried rice. The drunken noodle was very nicely flavored and so was the Penang curry. Though, I would prob not get one lunch special for myself next time because I was so full after this meal. I didn't even have room to try the mango sticky rice I wanted. For drinks, I got the Thai iced tea which comes separated in two glass containers for the tea and the milk so that you can mix it yourself. It was very good! My friend got the lychee Thai Tea which was very good too! No artificial lychee flavors and comes with two big juicy lychees that was so good! Perfect if you don't want a milky drink. The employees were very attentive and nice. They always refilled our water when they saw it was low and came up to check on us every now and then.
I had not heard of this place, so I may have passed by if a couple of my friends didn't recommend it! The store is small but beautifully decorated with an arch shelf behind the bar. I didn't feel, however, that the aesthetics compromised the rest of the restaurant. We ordered some Thai iced teas and a grilled squid to start. The iced tea was served with the creamer and the tea separated so you could control the milkiness of the tea, which I thought was a lovely touch. I liked the grilled squid, though it was a little smaller than it seemed in pictures. The herbaceous and slightly spicy sauce complemented the tender cooked squid. I did wish they had knives as the squid wasnt cut well enough. I contemplated getting my basic pad Thai or pad see ewe but decided to branch out since this seemed like a legitimately good Thai place. So, I got the crispy chicken over rice. The crispy dense slices of chicken was served over a crunchy garlic rice with a fish fragrant sauce and a chili sauce. I really like a hearty chicken breast, but I think for some they may have felt the crispy fried chicken was a little dry. It was very evenly fried to a crispy perfection, and I felt the portion was pretty generous. I would visit Prode again for a cute girls meet-up!
The service was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious. The ambience was also very enjoyable.
Prode has some great Thai food & I'm surprised it took me this long to visit it. However, I will say don't bother getting the lunch special because they 100% skimp on food. As we all know, lunch specials are always a hit or miss for restaurants but this one is definitely a miss. I got the mixed vegetable delight with chicken and my appetizer as the wings. The wings were great, but the main entrée was lacking much curry and was predominantly just rice. With that being said, I had also ordered the grilled squid as I wasn't really full after their lunch special. The squid was super tasty and deserves all the rave reviews that it gets. I would definitely order this again plus the green sauce compliments it well. The service here was also great, so all in all I would be back just not for the lunch special.
Prode is definitely made my list of best Thai restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful in the day and the night and feels upscale. We had their lunch special and the portions are pretty good. Drunken noodles, panang curry, and massaman curry are delicious. I personally love curries that have a sweeter, coconut milk flavor and these hit the spot. Portion sizes are very good too--could definitely have leftovers to take home. Crab rangoons are probably the best I've had! They do not skimp on the filling and the fried "skin"/shell is thin and flaky rather than thick. Lychee lemonade is beautiful and tastes just as good! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. read more

Loved it! Very nice people and great food. The lunch special is amazing. It came with an appetizer and a rice dish. A little miscommunication when ordering food but they corrected it quickly and got us the right food. 100% will be coming back read more

3.5 stars ... It's my second visit in a six month period. Verymixed feelings on writing this review. Ambiance and service was good. It's definitely a beautiful restaurant. They can and should adjust the air conditioning as it was a tad chilly in there. Also, it's blowing on the food, so it would get cold too fast. The decor and layout of the dining room is very comfortable and appealing. The food was good but missed on a few things. The part that's most confusing, is the inconsistent cooking. First visit months ago (Nov. 2024), I don't think I got the fish dish I ordered. At least when it arrived, it didn't seem as described on the menu. Could have been a miscommunication on both sides, I don't know for sure. The flavor was not as expected. And I tried the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly. The garlic sauce was savory and the broccoli was cooked al dente. The crispy pork belly was indeed crispy. A little dry but flavors were there. This recent visit, Wednesday night (May 2025), I really enjoyed my lychee lemonade drink. It was served with two lychee pieces and the purple butterfly pea tea to mix in, on the side. The lemonade was pretty sweet and sweeter still with the purple tea mixed in. It's very refreshing. And for starters, the peanut dumplings were really delicious. A thin turnip wrap with crushed peanuts as a filling. It was a light appetizer with good flavor paired with house soy sauce to dip. My entree was the Thai style Hainan chicken (asked for white meat). The tamarind sauce it came with was delicious. The ginger Rice was fluffy, I enjoyed it. I could've used a little more ginger flavor for my taste but it was a nice compliment to the chicken. Perhaps it was because I ordered the white meat, about half my chicken pieces while boneless, were dry. It was still tender but not much flavor on the chicken meat itself. The skin had most of the flavor. My friend ordered the duck over rice and that was moist and delicious. This is why my review is so torn. I really think there are great menu choices and I'm sure many dishes are great... But I've had two hits and two misses. I wish I had room to try the desserts as that menu looks fun but hasn't happened yet. read more
Finally dined in the restaurant... I usually get it delivered. We went for a late lunch so it was empty at 4pm but diners slowly trickled in after 30 mins or so. We started with Thai coffee, lemonade and the watermelon cocktail. We ordered grilled squid, crying tiger steak, crispy mango branzino .. and a crab fried rice. Everything was delicious. And even though it was just the two of us.. we managed to eat basically everything but that was our meal for the whole day. The waitress thought she'd have a difficult time packing up so much that we were laughing with her that we eat a lot. The food seriously was really good. The crying tiger steak. Omg some of the best steak we've had. It was cooked perfectly. Tender, juicy.. so much flavor. I can cook steak just as good if not better than most steakhouses but i dont marinate my steaks .. this was perfectly seasoned. We could've had this and another entree and we would've been fine but we wanted to try as much as we could. The grilled squid wasn't chewy. Tender.. The fried branzino was so good. Even L ate a good amount and he doesn't like fish. It was easy to get the past the bones and so much mango too. All the drinks were very tasty. Alcoholic or not. We loved everything.. hardly ever in the area but will make a point just to come here cuz the steak was so delicious.... read more

Tried this new thai place off of word of mouth. Although the exterior looks meek, the interior is very nice and modern, albeit a little small. The whole restaurant is very nicely decorated, and the servers are nice as well, and had good recommendations for us. I recommend the crispy duck over rice, and you definitely need to try the mango sticky rice. presentation of the food was also great. read more

This is a nice place to have a meal. The decor is simple and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The staff is helpful and concern about providing a good customer experience. Case in point, the staff became aware of one of the patrons having a food allergy to shrimp. Even though the customer selected a dish with dried shrimp, the staff came back and informed the customer that they do have a separate sauce without any shrimp and if that was ok that they serve the dish with that option instead of the one with the dried shrimp. Food nicely prepared and served in nice bowls and plates that show creativity and attention to detail. Food also tasted good. Serving size is on the smaller side and that may be due to us ordering lunch specials. read more
Best Thai food in the area hands down. Everyone working there speaks Thai and the food is very good, I think it's pretty authentic Thai. This is especially true with their Tom yum soup, it's not the orange-red mess that you see in so many Americanized Thai joints, it's more clear, sour and spicy and sooo delicious. The appetizers are all on point, and we especially like their full sized fish dishes. Don't sleep on their unique and yummy cocktails, this is a nice place for drinks too. read more

First i want to say this place is so cute!! Even though it is small, its very clean and cute inside with a modern aesthetic. The server and waitresses greeted us immediately and we were able to pick our seat. For appetizer we got the fried calamari and WOWWWWWWW OMG the pink sauce and sweet sauce was amazing and to die for!!! We devoured it all. For entree we got the duck pad Thai & wow again!! The duck was amazing and soft, lots of flavor and the skin was delicious!!! The pad Thai itself was so yummy. We love a good pad Thai - it tasted so authentic we were so glad we ordered it. We also got massaman curry with braised beef and wow the sauce on white rice was just spectacular. The potatoes were so soft and cooked just right. My drink, lychee lemonade was amazing and tasted so good, i loved that there's a little purple to add to make it pretty. The dessert we got was a sweet black rice, red bean (i think) type dessert with option to chose vanilla icecream or ube - of course i chose ube!!! I believe the white drizzle is a condensed milk type sweetener and it was amazing. Will definitely drive from Long Island to eat here again!! read more

Newish Thai restaurant that opened on Northern Blvd and I was really impressed with their lunch special. For the price, the portion was really filling and quality was super high. I also loved the ambiance with how modern and clean the restaurant was. There was a decent amount of seats and they could accompany larger groups which is nice. I ordered the green curry with chicken wings as my appetizer. The wings were fried nicely with just a tad too much batter but I loved the sauce. The green curry came with a lot of protein and eggplants - it was very rich and delicious with a good amount of kick. To end the meal, I tried two different desserts. Both were great with the right amount of sweetness and I loved the texture of the rice. The service here was pretty great, nothing to complain about. I would definitely be back! read more

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because almost all dishes were really good!! We started with spring rolls and chive pancake. The pancake is a must! Nice crunchy exterior with pillowy interior, and deliciously chivey. For entrees, we got the duck salad, duck over rice, massaman curry with chicken and drunken noodles with beef. All dishes were so good except the drunken noodles lacked a little depth. My dad's girlfriend does not like really spicy so we got medium, which was milder than I would have liked. The duck salad was surprising good; with crispy fried duck pieces and a nice flavor profile. The duck over rice was good as was the massaman curry. For desserts, we got the ube over sticky rice. The dessert menu does not mention it but you just need to ask for it. The mango over sticky rice was also good but the salty coconut milk that you pour over it really makes it so much better. The Thai iced coffee was really good. I think usually they used condensed milk but the milk was just plain milk but they brew the coffee with a lot of sugar, like sweetened iced tea. So you don't need condensed milk. The interior is more upscale than most Thai eateries so all in all, a really enjoyable meal. Will need to come back for the cocktails! read more

We met some friends on a Saturday night and were given ample space for our party of eight. Drinks were brought straight away and there were several servers coming and going clearing a plate or filling a glass. We ordered almost all of the appetizers and most were above average in taste. Standouts were the squid and the pork belly. Likewise we had a wide assortment of entrees. All in all, the food was good and the spicy options were actually but not overly spicy. The most disappointing part of the meal was that all of the adult food came out before the children's selections. One of the most important elements of a successful meal is keeping the kids well fed and hydrated. Not the deal breaker of a lifetime, but very important. Parking is on the street and the machines for pay parking no longer seem to work. While the app for your phone works well enough, they require a $25 deposit. The town has done a total disservice to the businesses downtown for people who don't live local. We might come back, but only for a real hankering a Thai meal. read more

This is my second time hanging out at this restaurant with my friends. We are like this place where the food tastes good and has a nice environment. This place is very comfy and has great service. We love to share and try many dishes. The first dish is whole fried bronzino with a three-taste sauce. This one is excellent and delicious. The sauce is great and pairs perfectly with the fish (not too spicy), and we really love this dish. Additionally, we also have spicy basil with pork belly, which has a good flavor as well. The pork belly is soft and not chewy at all. If you don't like spicy, they can prepare it without spice for you. The last dish is sautéed fresh ginger with shrimp, which is also very good. We still highly recommend this place if you like and want to try authentic, great Thai food. read more

I discovered a new thai restaurant tonight. 1st such great service. Everyone was very attentive, even bringing 2 tables together to accommodate us. Appetizer pla ra pork belly was delicious. the grilled squid was slightly a little overcooked but still delicious. The crying tiger was cooked to perfection (surprised me) with a excellent tarmind sauce. The Khao Soi with Braised beef was delicious. I only wish I had more noodles! I will definitely be stopping by here again! read more

prode is definitely a hidden gem in queens and their three flavor fish completely blew me away. the sauce had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory and was packed with flavor in every bite. i also tried their stir-fried curry powder with crab, which was amazing. the traditional way to eat it in bangkok is to mix everything into the rice and wow... every bite was so flavorful with plenty of curry and crab. the appetizers were also a hit, the crispy pork belly was packed with flavor and the calamari paired so well with the sauces. such a great spot if you're looking for a cozy dinner or date night in queens. definitely coming back to try their steamed fish next read more

My experience was just average here. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner on a Friday night, we made a reservation at 7pm for a party of 6 and they won't seat you until your full party is here. Street parking nearby is a bit hard to find so budget in 5-10 minutes additional for that before your reserved time. The place is small so it gets filled up quickly, seems like a popular spot. The food was average, wasn't too impressed with what we got. We asked for some recommendations and they all came out just alright. For appetizers we got Grilled Squid and Grilled Pork Jowl, both were fine, their portion was good for sharing. We also got a Basil Tom Yum Soup (seafood flavored) and that was pretty spicy. Noodles were not recommended as their speciality but they taste decent. Drunken noodle shrimp was better than the one with duck (came out kinda dry and not that flavorful). Shrimp pad thai was fine too. Got a Snowflakes Fish and I'm not really sure I understand the fish and veggie style combo... it's like Korean BBQ style but it's just not the same, probably too much uncooked veggies on the side and some random noodles that we didn't know what to do (this was their version of the Korean BBQ style wrap) - not that great and skippable, I'd recommend trying something else, saw some other fried fish that looked better. Green Curry was okay too. Drinks were pretty, Thai iced tea came unmixed so you could pour in the milk yourself, which was fine and the Lychee Lemonade with Butterfly Pea was pretty, I'd recommend getting that out of the 2 choices. We also tried their dessert, Bi Go Moi, some sticky rice with ice cream - not what I like, had a salty taste in maybe the cream or something that felt a bit weird to me. Overall I wasn't too impressed by the food or the experience here. It's probably a place I'd go once to try it out. They did have a 90-minute time limit which they told us when we got seated, but we were still eating when the time was up around 8:30 and they let us stay since it wasn't too busy then (plus we ordered a lot). read more

More like 3.5. Came here with a Friday 7p reservation made through Yelp and the place wasn't too packed. My table for 4 was really tight - the space between the table next to us was nonexistent. I couldn't get through without touching the people next to us. The place is nicely decorated inside though! My overall experience was ok. Food here was good and the staff were all very attentive but I felt VERY rushed. We order 3 apps & 4 entrée to share along with some drinks and we were in and out within 40mins... Different waitress and waiters would walk by asking the same questions several times. Entrees came out before the apps and we had to scramble to get the last few pieces of food when they asked if we were finished. I just felt very overwhelmed. I read another person's comment here afterwards that they were given a 90min time limit. We didn't get that warning though I definitely felt it. We ordered papaya salad, fried calamari (this was meh), and grilled pork jowl (this was pretty good) for apps. For entrée we ordered green curry, pad thai, drunken noodle, and veggie delight which were all good. Food is priced on the higher side. Not sure if I would recommend coming during peak hours unless you want to pay a premium to inhale your food and to be rushed out. read more
Came here for their lunch special, so not the fairest assessment of a place, but will update if and when I come back. I got an appetizer of pork belly and the prik kring lunch special. Pork belly was okay, would have been better with the actual meal, but the restaurant assumed we wanted it as an actual appetizer and waited for me to finish before bringing the actual meal, not a big deal. The prik kring was one of the more unique things I've ever tried at a Thai restaurant. Super super spicy, aromatic full of ginger and a variety of spices, I definitely enjoyed how bold the dish was terms of flavors and spiciness. Will have to come back to see what other offerings they have here read more

This is a great spot for Thai food, especially in the great neck/little neck area. They have authentic Thai dishes such as larb. We ordered Larb Gai which is so refreshing with mint and lettuce to wrap the protein in. I would highly recommend trying this dish. It's salty, tangy with a hint of citrus. During the winter month, mango is not in season so mango sticky rice dessert is not available. Because of this, we ordered the sweet sticky rice with ube ice cream on top. It's not too sweet and has great texture. Definitely would return with a larger group for dinner to try their other entrees. read more
New Thai place in Little Neck. It was packed on Friday night. All of the table and bat table were seated. Decor was nice. Service was also very attentive. They picked up the plates right away. Grilled squid. Probably the best dish of the evening. Sauce is delicious. I have high hope after eating this appetizer. Chicken Pad see Ew. This is just average. It lacked favor. I will say the Pad See Ew from Kind taste better. Tiger eye steak. This is horrible. Chewy, and hard. The first time I had this dish was at Zaab Zaab, and that was delicious. My wife and kids doesn't want to eat this. I had to finish it. Mango fish. I was looking forward to this dish as it was featured in Eater. It is very flavorable, both spicy and sour from lime juice. I think this dish is actually pretty good. read more

Came here on a rainy day and it was busy with tables filled with people. I understand why there were that many people. This place looks so modern with nice bright lightening, and mermaid plates; perfect for Instagram. The service was awesome, super attentive with small details such as changing plates and filling cups with water often. Down to the food: Papaya Salad - very good for the American food palate. It was sweeter than usual and not very spicy. I would like it spicier since it's Thai food. The Drunken Noodles with shrimp - fresh fresh noodles and snappy shrimp. The shrimps were prefect. However, it could use some extra basil. But the flavor was good. Thai fried rice - great, simple dish. It had fire wok flavor to it, which is lovely! That's all I ever ask for in a fried rice dish. Green curry - came with bone-in chicken. I didn't like this dish because of the chicken. Felt like the chicken shouldn't be with this dish. The curry itself was good with nice lemongrass flavor. read more
Prode Thai - Little Neck, NY If you're craving authentic Thai flavors with a side of warmth and hospitality, Prode Thai is the spot. Tucked along Northern Blvd, this place is a hidden gem that blends upscale vibes with home-style cooking. The decor is sleek and cozy, and the food? Legit Thai--herb-infused, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Now let's talk about Naw--the host with the most. Naw is the kind of person who makes you feel like you've walked into a friend's home. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling, Naw sets the tone for a dining experience that's both elegant and welcoming. The entire staff follows suit--courteous, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Now let's talk food. We went all in and every dish delivered: - Grilled squid - tender, smoky, and perfectly charred - Veggie combo - fresh, colorful, and balanced - Fried & crispy red snapper - golden, flaky, and packed with flavor - Spicy basil fried rice with shrimp - and yes, the shrimp were huge - Crying tiger steak - a massive plate of medium-cooked beef that melts in your mouth - Green curry with duck - rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying - Drunken noodle with fried tofu - bold, spicy, and full of texture - Bi Go Moi with ube ice cream - the first time I've ever drooled while eating - Yellow corner drink - strong and smooth, according to my wife (she knows her cocktails) The restroom? Fancy and beautifully done. The bar? Fully stocked with top-shelf selections. And the best part? No wait times. You walk in, you eat like royalty, and you leave wondering why you haven't been here sooner. If you live anywhere near Little Neck, I'm challenging you to try it out. This place is a must.
