Upon first taking the car and inspecting it, Tony thought it was a head gasket leak, which was going to cost me $2200. Thankfully he took the extra time and effort to really make sure and found it was a water pump. He fixed that and also took care of some other important issues that were going to cause me great difficulty in the near future if not addressed. I got more fixed than I expected and only paid $1345. It's the first time I have ever left an auto shop paying less than they originally told me, usually I have left paying more than expected. I interacted with the office staff twice…read more The first time after I won my item I called the office to inquire about their process and they were super helpful, friendly, and extremely patient. They were happy to assist and didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience. They truly made me feel like a valued customer. Same quality experience upon picking up of my item. I bought a vehicle during covid through their online only auction. You can still preview in person but the vehicles are locked, they don't hand out keys, and you CAN NOT start the vehicles / check for codes, nosies, etc. They do leave the driver side window cracked so you can smell for odors / smoke. This particular vehicle I bought sight unseen other than the photos and description online. The photos were accurate and they did an awesome job detailing the truck. Now some advise, 1. don't bid on a vehicle without expecting to put money into it, these are used vehicles and they are at auction for a reason. 2. Set a max budget and stick to it. (Make sure you calculate the buyers fee AND sales tax into your price. 3. Understand they sell vehicles from many sources, consider the source of the vehicle and why it may be there. 4. I strongly recommend previewing the car in person before bidding, at least check for tire wear, leaks, missing components (spare, etc). 5. Run a vehicle history report. If you stick to these guidelines you will have a great experience and mitigate your risk. There is the potential for some great deals.
